Who came second?

Sheffield UTD. Nottingham Forest and Everton (Lampard connection) were also credited with an interest.

 

Apparently had agreed personal terms with Sheffield UTD but chose us after talks over the last few days. 

 

So says my Derby supporting mate.

A backup striker from a Greek diddy team and a free from a

relegated championship side. Not the transfers I’d have hoped for but got to give these lads a chance to see what they can do.

 

Still think the manager deserves more financial backing from the board but if it’s not there it’s not there.

PAOK finished second in the league and have the third biggest support in Greece.

 

Anyway, we brought in two players from huge clubs (Juve and Man Utd) last season, neither of which worked out very well...
