No fullback was better than Eric Caldow. Davie Provan filled the breach after Caldow’s dreadful injury. DP would never have claimed to be the footballer Caldow was but like Willie Rae and John Little before him never shirked, never gave up, aye ready.

No matter the personnel, we have to start the game with the right mindset, not scared of the occasion, not allowing our opponents to settle into the game, or even worse get a lead in the game, and an early goal would be a huge weight off the collective mindset, but to do that we need to be tight on it. It will be absolutely no surprise how Killie line up and play, we have seen them and McInnes an awful lot and it never changes, so it really is up to us to force the issue right from the start. Of course we will know by tomorrow evening if Hearts have managed to get us back into the title race or not, my guess is not, but that could have an influence on the atmosphere if the result is a positive one. Overall I really want to see a change in mindset from recent games, we have looked scared and negative since the Motherwell defeat and PC has to find a way to get them confident again.

He's not been in good form but losing Goldson for the rest of the season is a blow and with Sima and Matondo also still missing, we're once again getting short of reliable options. We may be forced into something like this on Sunday bearing in mind Borna's last game v Killie. Perhaps more like Scott Wright plays on the right with McCausland or Silva on the left. Some goal contributions from them would be a big help!

Blue strip with white trim only. Keep red for the top of the socks. Red has no place on a Rangers top IMO.

I hear we are changing shirt sponsors for next season. The company are called, 'PenAlto' - a global real estate firm promising a 'high five' service. The layout on the front of the top will confirm the preferred prejudice of the vast majority of the Scottish based broadcast and print media : 'PenAlto - Rangers'.
