I think some are maybe getting a bit carried away. The lad has barely played a full season, looks half decent but no more. If Tav goes, I'd hope someone with more (winning) experience is around to take the armband.8 points

Rumours of an issue regarding the steel have been doing the rounds for weeks. Today I took part in a meeting at Ibrox via Teams and was told that "everything was on schedule", the meeting ended at 1pm, 2pm statement released confirming delay. We are an omnishambles.5 points

I see a lot of people dunking on Kelly, but of you look at it he left us and had plenty of first team football and regular international call ups. He will replace McCrorie who is highly rated but hasn't really played any football. He had a loan spell in the lower levels at QoS and then the spell at Livi where he was dropped and couldn't get back in the team. Kelly is a good solid signing, club trained and captained Motherwell.3 points

The one thing that amazes me is all these so called experts who sit and tell us we’re England went wrong and what they should do Ferdinand Shearer Lineker Neville they forget that they never achieved a single thing in their England careers not one medal between them3 points

Doesn't give one much confidence in what the board say in the statement. Rumours circulating that September is an optimistic shout for getting back to Ibrox. Who knows !! A poor financial situation just got worse. CL qualifying: Will make a difficult task a lot harder. Clubs looking to buy our players will know we are desperate. Omnishambles indeed.2 points

That is embarrassing. Why lie to people when you know you're going to have to tell them the truth an hour later? The only explanation I can think of is cowardice.2 points

We do need someone homegrown that can grow into that role; someone to stay around for the foreseeable future, to lead the team.1 point

I see he's 21 would be nice to have a Scottish captain I would give it a few months and if he's playing well make him captain .1 point

Just send a couple of men along the road to Barclay Mathieson at Hardgate road about half a mile from the front door at Ibrox and they will supply you with the steel you need1 point

The one thing I don’t want to hear about Barron is we have to bed him in if he’s good enough he’s old enough there’s young lads playing at a lot higher level than our Mickey Mouse league .1 point

If we can coach the lad and get him to the level Jacko was at his best (with better availability) then we're laughing, especially for a nominal fee. Really pleased with this one ngl.1 point

The stats suggest he's a solid, safe passer, and combative. He doesn't get robbed and doesn't give the ball away, and has a lot of touches. He takes a lot of long balls to release runners. He doesn't create much or get on the end of things but is good defensively: high in both ground and aerial duels won, high in recoveries and high in interceptions. He's only 21 and Scottish. He fits into the two central midfield positions PC likes. Clever signing.1 point

Brilliant, sensible business. I like that Koppen says young Scottish talent will be important in our recruitment over the next few years. Great stuff.1 point

Cwoodloyal replied to someone else ... I know Camby loyalist said no to McLean but the club still keen to sign him.1 point

Maybe if the club had recently had a construction project that went over time and over budget they *might* have been able to see this risk involved in this project. Anyway maybe we can play the games at NEH?1 point

This is / should be a standard part of any agreement: Wembley late fee is £120,000 every day | Football | The Guardian1 point
