Aye 100% agree we should have binned him and signed Shankland, he's on fire this season again - not signing him will cost us the league. Mark my words.3 points

Hey! I'm the only thread polis around here. You're both pig-headed. Just agree to disagree.2 points

Motherwell in the semis, definitely happy with that.2 points

Your kid is probably more mature than both of us put together. #justsaying2 points

I was also told that they hadn't given Celtic the authorisation to do the work agreed for the old firm games, hence why Celtic wouldn't give us tickets, but put the blame on us due to us having issues.2 points

I'm sure Clement would love someone better than Dessers but given we don't have the cash for that then he's going to continue to play him as his number one striker.2 points
-
But it won't - some have written him off and nothing he does will change their mind. Remember, that Morelos became of highest ever scorer in Europe and some still though he was garbish.2 points

I apologise for the tedious posts. Will try to refrain in future.1 point

Naismith’s departure was inevitable. He was my tip in the competition. Too obvious, I suppose and I ignored ex-Hearts man, Levein. A pattern developing. Any other former Gorgie boys in hot seats?1 point

Hopefully we get the Saturday this time I doubt it though1 point

We were but unless I'm mistaken he's part of a team? And can't a point about one player be expanded? #threadpolis #tomaturetoinsertmeme1 point

I stand corrected. Looked to me like they were all over at one side. Apologies1 point

I'll tell you a little story regarding LS and its up to you if you believe it. Allegedly we did bib for LS on the final day of this transfer window. It was what could be described as a "low ball offer" and Hearts quickly rejected it. However, LS knew about the offer and was determined to make the move, but powerless to make it happen. Fast forward to this season and LS started it on the bench (wonder why) but with SN desperate to save his job, he's turned to LS to save him. LS is going through the motions and no more. All "aledged" as no firm source but thought I'd share what I was told.1 point

Scoring winners against them will change people's minds, scoring against the Diddy teams is all well and good and we need that, I would keep dessers for that but beating them wins the league it breeds confidence deflates the enemy and changes the narrative unless he does this he will forever be seen as just decent noting special which is what rangers require1 point

They are in trouble. 1 point from 5 games taken from a promoted side! Villa had the Euro hangover in the first half and for the second game in a row they have came from behind at home and left it late.1 point

Isn't it ironic that the poster (let you guess who) who posts repetitive posts slated a poster for being reparative. I think we all agree Dessers isn't the ideal number 9 but he's what we've got. The manager who we are all backing chose not to sell him (assuming he had reasons for that) and stick with him, an injured Danilo and an untested Igamane. You can post as many times as you want about you wanting him gone in 10 transfer windows, but until the manager sells him, or someone offers us a lot of money for him, he's here. Dessers contribution will be judges on his ability to score goals and he has done that and continues to do that. Maybe if others stepped up and took some of the burden off him, we'd be in a better place. We are skint, we have little option to replace platers in transfer windows and some want rid of not only our top scorer but our only consistent goal scorer.1 point

It's not great but the sightlines will have been taken into account by the designers. I've sat in the back few rows of the West Enclosure a few times and it's much the same there.1 point

Seeing pics of hugely restricted views when people are standing due to the new cantilever extension at the Copeland. Surely this can't be real? Oh and why are the UBs stuck in the corner? Surely behind the gosl would have been better?1 point

Yes. We can't afford any of those players. Besides I have never watched any of them play. I will still be talking about how Dessers was rubbish in 2060.1 point

Cant you read mate. CERNY IS RUBBISH Not sure why you are going on about Bajrami and Jefte Reading is hard i know.1 point

Really, Boyd played against them a fair few times under Walter. What he did have was teammates who could handle playing against Celtic and we didn't rely on him. Kenny Miller usually took care of Celtic but other players chipped in. Dessers, Tav and Souttar are the only players in our team that have scored against Celtic - says a lot.1 point

Walter Smith was clever enough to drop Boyd when we played that lot.1 point

We probably won't win anything if we struggle up front against Celtc.1 point

I'll keep my powder dry until we see him get a few games in the 10. Dujon was poor but I think playing him at RB would be wise from here. I'd feel bad for him if fans turn on him and his career at Rangers goes south when he's never had a run in his natural position.1 point

Aye we would be so much better off without him 💩1 point

Pretty pleased with that today. The new guys are settling in now. No doubt get the tims at our second home in the Semis1 point

This may not go down well but I'm just going to say it Dessers - Flat track bully, a 5 million 30k a week Kris Boyd. Will beat the rest but offer nothing against the best. Cerny - one of the worst players I have ever seen. What is this? A bald Capucho? No pace, no skill, no work effort? What does he offer? Diomande - our best player. We want our best player to be Gazza / Laudrup / Morelos etc. We are not there, But the visible lift when this guy is on the park in unreal. Barron / Jefte - half a million £ goes a long way when you spend it wisley. Bajrami - we have spent 4 million on just ok. We should have 4 of this guy in the squad.1 point

I like Dessers for what it's worth, but he's not got a good record in the OF. Let's not pretend otherwise. Outside of just goalscoring as well, he's been detrimental in a few of those games. I'd take his poor GS record v them if he was a presence. And in an era where dominance in those fixtures will win you the league due to how poor the rest of the league is I think you can justify criticising him - in that regard. And you mention his goals in Europe, he's got 3 in 13 mate. I'd happily keep him in the squad because he does bag regularly and is fine for the bread and butter in the league but I am just not confident in him getting us over the line in the big matches. If he starts smashing them in in the OF then I'll eat my words. If he could just trap it and get us up the park in those games I'd dine out on them.1 point
