I'd give Balogun another year, wouldn't be breaking the bank. He's a good reliable squad player, and has performed well when asked.

Thinking back to 1945. While the world rejoiced at the end of the war, life, like football, found a way to carry on. We lifted the Southern League trophy that year – a small beacon of joy in a world still healing. And as our brave soldiers returned home imagine what the emotions at Ibrox would have been like , a community that had undoubtedly seen loved ones go off to fight. That Southern League win in '45 would have been a moment of shared joy, a small piece of normalcy returning as our heroes, weary but unbroken, started to come home. The same spirit that drove our team to victory on the pitch , fighting for what we hold dear, I often wonder what the atmosphere at Ibrox would have been like? To me, it was more than a noise; it was a lifeline, a sense of coming home. I've been on the pitch after I came back from Afghanistan, and I have to tell you, seeing the Blue Sea rise, especially after losing friends, makes you realise the love and support each Rangers fan gives us is truly speechless. To this day, it is still one of my greatest moments in life. The roar of the crowd shakes the foundations of our stadium. I suppose that's the Rangers family. Just like then, it would have been an overwhelming sense of gratitude, a silent understanding of the battles fought on a far greater field. These were not just heroes on the battlefield; they were our neighbours, our family, fellow supporters who understood the true meaning of fighting for what you believe in. Tomorrow, as we mark VE Day, though it is a day of poignant remembrance for us all, especially for those who fell, as a veteran, I'd like to say thank you for the support. It means the world and would no doubt have meant a lot to those returning home to loved ones and family. WATP.

These valuations have nothing to do with "true" market values. They use some algorithms to value players according to the league they play in, contract length, success of their team and the players themselves, age, etc.. What a club demands for a player or what a buyer is willing to pay is obviously not included. TM is primarily valuable for player stats and data, i.e. background info.

To this day, the Army still hasn’t fully grasped the mental health aspect, so I can only imagine the challenges your father and your family faced. It's a stark reality that has led to the creation of independent veteran-run organizations. These groups often emerge from a feeling that established organizations haven't provided adequate or appropriate support. In my own area, I took the initiative to set up a self-funded veterans' group. Unfortunately, larger organizations were unwilling to step in, often citing insufficient numbers. We currently have 15 members and warmly welcome any veteran who'd like to join us, even if it's just for a day trip to enjoy the beautiful scenery. I've also been able to assist other veterans in obtaining their Veteran Badges. It's surprising how many believe they didn't serve long enough or weren't entitled to one. These seemingly small hurdles can prevent veterans from seeking the broader support they need. It's often the most dedicated veterans who step up to create vital resources like the Erskine Hospital. However, it's also true that some individuals may misuse their veteran status, seeking personal recognition within their local area while losing sight of the larger, collective needs of the veteran community. Ultimately, we are all in this together.

My Dad was in the navy for the entire war and Armistice Day and special anniversaries were very hard for him as he remembered those who did not come home. Time, if anything, made it more difficult for him. He was at both Dunkirk and D Day among many other theatres of war. We support Erskine, Poppy Day and Armed Forces charities in his memory.

I would also like to thank you and all the men and women who fought in the war and indeed other wars. My uncle lost his leg in the war and lived in Erskine hospital estate for years. Living in Holland and Germany for 45 years, I used to love the stories of my wife's family of how they worked for the resistance. Sneaking out at night to gain information, bring food to people in hiding It wasn't only soldiers who risked their lives, without resistance information it would have been more difficult.

PSG look a very good side. Kvaratskhelia is an absolute joy to watch. I really like the team PSG have built. A few sold experienced pros, a few top drawer players and some really good youngsters. I really like Luis Enrique too. Went through some terrible personal tragedy when his daughter passed away. Would be happy to see him lift the trophy.
