As someone who has previously worked as a graphic designer, I think this a marked improvement. For a start, RANGERS is centred and above the lion instead if starting from round on the left side. That's done my head in for ages. The lion is also cleaner and more defined. Possibly could put Estd. 1872 in the spaces either side of the lion?? Next request...lose the stars from the classic RFC monogram. Call me a purist but I prefer it on its own to be honest.3 points

Too many, it should stay as it is,there's enough time wasting oportunity with three, but a goalkeeper should be able to replaced,if injured, without having to use a substitute as it is a specialist position.2 points

It clearly favours the biggest clubs with the deepest playing squads, so it's almost certain to be a permanent change.2 points

Nope. Uilleam doesn’t get things like that wrong.2 points

I see the club have updated the traditional Ready crest. Only slight amendments, so nothing to be too concerned about.1 point

Agree completely about the 5 stars removal. The RFC monogram is one of the best in the sporting world (along with The Barbarians and Flamengo). It doesn't need an add on1 point

The 5 stars will always symbolise the Murray era and should have no place in our future. We’ve put those days behind us now.1 point

Agreed regarding the stars, as they diminish the boldness of the badge. Move them to the back of the collar.1 point

The website is very good in many ways. Still room for improvement. A lot better than our competition though.1 point

Because their other options are even worse..... The only other viable option is Kolasinac and he is dire. Aside from that the only other option they have at LB is Saka - and he is a raw youngster who is actually a winger. Sutton praising Tierney to the heaves today for his performance last night - I never saw last night's game but I saw their previous game and Tierney was murder. I also wouldnt pay much stock at all in the figures being thrown about about our outward signings or ANY of Celtic's signings.1 point

A more pertinent question would be, why does anyone pay any attention to a football gossip site, particularly when someone like Stevie4LHAD has just rubbished it?1 point

Actually like it as the design with Rangers at the top indicates where we should rightly be.1 point

Those promulgating Jum Spence is a cartoon character are wrong, Jum aspires to have two dimensions.1 point

Of course but it’s difficult not to attempt to evaluate the opposition. In the mind Hibs, Aberdeen are big games. St Johnstone Kilmarnock are not. In reality every game is three points.1 point

It surprises me how much we believe some of these reports on players leaving whilst lauding the club for the secrecy they have employed regarding transfers of late, and how when announced transfers seem to be nobody being mentioned...... why is it we have decided to believe media reports on outward transfers whilst ignoring what they say on inward transfers ?1 point

JFK told us we were a far superior side to Aberdeen the season after they finished above us. Teams often lose to inferior sides. As Greavsie used to say, "It's a funny old game.".1 point
-
They are so irrelevant, and so inferior, and have been for as long as you have banged on about it.... that since Steven Gerrard took over as manager we have played them 10 times..... and have won 3 of them, losing 3 and drawing 4 of them. The stats suggest that they arent as inferior as you suggest. Would I take many of their players ? No. But it is a team sport and you often see the sum of the parts are better than the individual parts themselves. They are an inferior team to us as the league table showed - but casting them as an irrelevance when their results against us over the past two years are as good as ours. Maybe their fans should be saying that we are inferior to them given the symmetrical nature of results over the last two years. Either way, I am out of this talk of Aberdeen - I would rather talk about Rangers and how much of a carve up this "random" fixture generator is.1 point

As they say, he is a cartoon character, trapped in a cartoon character's body. No. it's a pun.1 point

Aberdeen FC seem to loom large for you, JFK. Carry on posting about them if it helps...1 point

Hastie was signed for his potential, after good performances for Motherwell at 20 years old. I do think he was signed too early: I don't think he had actually played that many games for Motherwell? This is a good move for him and us. If he can perform well at the higher end of the League, then he can do a job for us.1 point
-
I hope Hastie comes back, from what I seen of him at Motherwell he was decent, strong powerful, an eye for goal. I think the problem last year was probably Gerrard wanting Kent in the door and Allen having to find players as back up for the wide areas so we ended up with Stewart, Hastie, and Jones, all free and maybe not up to the standard we would have hoped, with guys like Jones and Hastie we would have hoped they would have made the next step in their development, looks like maybe Hastie wasn't ready for that and going back to Motherwell where he performed well to get his development back on track, he might never be good enough but at least there he has the chance of hurting teams like Aberdeen and Celtic and we have a recall clause if he is performing well.1 point
