  1. Hi Everybody. This is my first post on here. Joined at the beginning of the week. Can I just say what an absolutely fantastic thread this is. Very informative, topical and a fantastic insight into the flagrant hypocrisy of a so called public service broadcaster to serve the licence fee payers of Scotland and beyond with a totally biased anti Rangers agenda. I can endorse Bill's comments above that this thread is one of the reasons I decided to sign up! I have one or two Rangers mates abroad who I "put right"from time to time on certain individuals who work at PQ. All my information has been gleaned from this thread which I really enjoy keeping up to date with. I firmly believe there would be much to gain from trying to spread the word more widely on the corruption, bias and misinformation PQ spread on Rangers FC! Can I convey my thanks to all the great contributers on Gersnet. As well as making some very eloquent and informative posts, I also enjoy the dark humour of many of the posters! Keep up the great work!

  2. Chaps, As long as Craig and Frankie have no concerns for Gersnet. I have no problems with anyone on Gersnet doing what they wish to do with my contributions. The original idea with this thread was to develop a Rangers Tax Case Blog type of thing. It's a testimony, a diary, a collation of information, a collection of quotes, ......................... etc. Overall, it's a reference of the lack of service provided to a section of License Fee payers. I am grateful to a collection of regular Gersnetters over the twelve/thirteen years; Ian, Bill, Buster, Zappa, Compo, ............. etc too many to name. Further, lots more folks than myself have made most valuable contributions, and deserve every credit. In the words of Admiral David Glasgow Farragut, "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead".

  3. The signings of McLauchlin & Balogun already look better signings than some of the signings made last summer many of whom only looked like squad players filling jerseys Both McLauchlin & Balogun will push strongly for a starting place. Those currently in the first choice starting XI need to be on their toes

  5. From someone who has the thinnest (sic) skin I have EVER seen from a (supposed) comedian. She blocks absolutely everyone that thinks differently to her - and she has the hypocrisy to call Boris a coward ? She's an absolute fucking weapon that woman.

  7. I'm not entirely sure I would bid that much, would depend on how badly the club wanted him and do they think there would be a return in both performance and sell on value. I also suspect that Livi may have allegedly turned down a bid of a million from Barnsley because Dykes may hav declined it. Might want to hang on for Rangers. Barnsley just barely escaped relegation from the championship, finished 21st of 24 by a single point. What would yo want to do? Join a club fighting relegation from the championship or a high profile club fighting for trophies and competing in Europe? EDIT: Something else I just found, Barnsley may still be relegated to league one "pending Wigan appeal"

  8. I would like to know to which Clubs the statement refers: "Several SPFL Clubs requested that the SPFL Board bring forward a resolution, which would give the Board the express power to manage Covid-19 related disruption during Season 2020/21, without the need to seek Rule amendments approved by Clubs." Why would any or all of these Clubs be coy about their call for Emergency Powers? Surely they owe their shareholders and supporters an explanation or justification.

  9. I think only 1 club would have been clamouring for the SPFL to have these powers.

  10. This bit of news has since been verified as rubbish, Ojo has a contract till 2023 Balogun will obviously become a hit at Ibrox, as he was born in BERLIN! Has played almost as often as CH as he has as right-back, and so far 31 times for Nigeria, including the WC 2018. Balogun stats

  11. Stayed at the Ricoh hotel with a pitch-facing view when Coventry played Blackburn in the Caraboa Cup a couple of seasons back. Was as dull as it sounds.

  12. Katic and Helander are injured. Gerrard mentioned Mayo going out on loan. Bassey doesn't look ready and McCrorie is also weak in central defence. Wouldn't surprise me if we're bringing in another CD, as cover.

  13. I hope not unless we are offloading as well. We have plenty of cover at CH, with Goldson, Katic, Big George, McCrory, Bassey, Mayo all for 2 spots. In fact even if we are selling one of the aforementioned, we still have plenty of cover in this area and any incomings should be in areas more needy.

  14. If we were to sell for that sum the Club would be letting their fans down badly, and why would we want a 20 year old who is "developing?".

  18. This will probably result in a red card for Morelos, if Dundee can get their vote into the regular mailbox, rather than the spam folder.

  19. Considering the behaviour of Morelos and Leigh Griffiths on and off the park, anyone would think Griffiths would be the easy pantomime villain for the press. Both are prone to tantrums and immature acts on the park, as well as being good footballers. Off the park, Alfie is married with a kid and does unbelievable charity work with impoverished people in his native land. Off the park, Griffiths is a gambler, a convicted racist, has several kids with several mothers and is an all-round degenerate. ?
