The word legend gets pinned on every player who has a couple of decent games these days here was a man who made every pass count passes played with slide rule precision a truly great Rangers player .4 points

An absolute great for the Airdrieonians, the Rangers and the Airdrieonians again. The best passer of the ball I ever saw and that includes di Stefano, Blanchflower, Haynes and White. Never a more thrilling sight at Ibrox than Ian McMillan clawing the ball down from the air, pivoting and rifling a pass between defenders for Alex Scott to race onto, all in one movement. Scot Symon’s instruction to defenders: “Just give it to Ian or Jim”3 points

Looks about right to me ,though i'd replace Ridvan with Barisic , unfortunately neither command the LB position. One dips in form then the other comes in.2 points

Worth noting the Hibs game in the Scottish Cup is also on a Sunday (10th March) at 5.30pm - should be a good day for Polis Alba!2 points

With Levein in the home dugout, I'm wary about getting excited for this match.2 points

They called him the Wee Prime Minister - primus inter pares, I am told. That says something, a lot, actually, when he was taking the field with likes of Baxter, Henderson, Miller, Brand, and Wilson. Nowadays, sadly, to call him that, or similar, would be to demean the man. A Rangers' Great. RIP.2 points

So Young Boys play at the Wankdorf? How fitting.2 points

Just a wee side note from the last night and this season. From the 13 goals we have conceded, only 4 have been away from home. Thoughts on why this would be? Maybe something to do with us playing a far higher line at home?2 points

Should be straight forward, if we can score a few then brilliant but at this point it's still about getting the win. Looking forward to it, the women's OF is in after as well so it's a full day of Rangers!1 point

I’ve never been fully able to make my mind up about Waddell. He clearly did wonderful things for our club but there were certainly times when his thrawn side held us back.1 point

Aye I'd love the team to go over there this season and get a result. If ever a Scottish team could, it's against this AC side.1 point

We’re ln a position of our own making joint leaders all we have to do now is keep winning . mon the gers1 point

They will have cattle on the field now grazing and ripping it up. It will be a disaster of a playing surface when we visit. Always is.1 point

Aye, we can expect a 4-6-0 perhaps so will be a day for patience. At least we won't have Chris Kane around to injure our players...1 point

Maybe if we play two strikers and don't hope that every attacker who is not the "lone striker" is a Sima, we might get more goals. We have always created enough chances, but rarely played and play more than one finisher. Even if we had them in the squad.1 point

Rest easy Wee Prime Minister - another legend of our club who was the oldest living Ranger / Scotland International until his passing. Thoughts, condolences and prayers with his family at this sad time.1 point

Now that's makin around the track a couple times. May he rest eternal in Valhalla beneath the great beer falls and fed Cheez-its by beautiful nymphs.1 point

All tough teams but most beatable for us if we play well. 2 months ago i might have chucked these games in favour of the league. but we can make 8 changes and look superb these days and March looks a good month for us league wise.1 point

Yet another side note from last night... Last night was our 25th league game of the season and our 3-1 win versus Ross County put us on 61 points from 25 games. Almost a year ago we played Ross County in our 25th league game of the 22/23 season. We won the game 2-1 after County equalised against the run of play, with the win putting us on 61 pts. A year ago, Todd Cantwell was MOTM. He must be up for a decent shout last night? It's a funny old game, as someone once said...1 point

Seconded, he gets my vote. He is the catalyst for our tempo and energy imo - he's been fantastic the last couple of games.1 point

I couldn’t see past Todd Cantwell. His is the energy and spirit that lifts us at the moment.1 point

17 goal involvements in 18 games since clement came in. that is ridiculous. Basically a goal start.1 point

Ridvan was poor tonight, one decent ball, ran the ball out off play twice and was meg'ed in Ross County's penalty box. But, yeah he's better than Borna 😀1 point
