  1. Sorry, but you're as bad as the press. Equating Ulster with "sectarianism". I have roots in Northern Ireland. I think most of the crowd like the Ulster-Scots banner. You make a fair point about not having a day for Scots, (although I'm sure they have had that. Did you you not see TBO having the saltires and lion rampants at a game?) but why do you have to bring religion into it?
  2. Hadn't realised that. Strange that the club themselves don't seem to be pushing it.
  3. Remember Rangers entered into motor racing? No, I had completely forgotten too. There are 6 races, and the first has taken place with absolutely no publicity that I have seen. This was the UK leg as well. Why are we wasting time (and money?) on this if there is to be no publicity from it? There are 2 races on each leg and we are lying 12th out of 17. Beijing Gouan FC 79 50 29 Tottenham Hotspur 72 40 32 Liverpool FC 72 32 40 Sevilla FC 68 18 50 AS Roma 63 45 18 PSV Eindhoven 59 36 23 Flamengo 52 7 45 FC Basel 46 20 26 FC Porto 46 26 20 BVB Borussia Dortmund 44 8 36 Al-Ain 37 29 8 Rangers FC 33 23 10 Olympiacos 30 14 16 SC Corinthians 30 16 14 Galatasaray SK 24 12 12 RSC Anderlecht 17 10 7 AC Milan 6 6 0
  4. There has always been a strong connection between the club and Ulster. Should we be prevented from doing things as a support due to unjustified criticism? We can't give into that sort of thing or esle you're giving victory to the likes of Spiers. Saying that, I doubt that a majority will joining in as they won't even know about it. The wonderful thing about the Oranje day was that 80%-90% of the people who went wore something orange and it looked brilliant.
  5. Had I not known the leanings of Mogwai, I would have assumed that this was actually taking the piss out of the Huddleboard. Perhaps they should remember to sing in some of their songs.
  6. On this occasion I definitely didn't. The whole site went white and there was an error message when I pressed submit post. It was fine when I pressed preview. Gave some sort of web address, but something strange about it. Didn't seem the normal web address. Doubt I'll be able to recreate it, so chances are I won't be believed.
  7. Quote Bluedell Not sure why it seems that I've edited your post. I definitely went for a quote, mate, then got an error message, and I couldn't post anything. Many apologies. Triesd it about 3 times but got the same error message. Very strange.
  8. Nike now own Umbro, so it depends whether they want to keep the Umbro drand going or switch us to Nike. I would normally expect them to keep the Umbro brand strong, or else why buy it, so we could remain with Umbro. As for the quality issue, I assume Umbro can make the strips to whatever quality is specified and agreed with the club.
  9. Good to meet you at the RST AGM today, mate.
  10. LOL. Hadn't seen that before.
  11. I know him as well, mate, and as Frankie says, a proper gentleman.
  12. Gersnet may not have been able to give the same level of kickback though....
  13. Exactly. It's hardly rocket science. Frankie could have knocked up a form and had it available on this website in 10 minutes, so i can't see why Hibs could not have done something similar.
  14. Honestly? FFS Why the **** should I have to buy the Sun to get tickets for a game. No way, Pedro. I'll just watch it on the box out of principle. It's disgraceful and the whole 5% issue is so ill-thought out.
  15. Great news. John MacMillan is a good guy, and he's got off his backside and done something about a dreadful situation. It's a shame that guys like me will lose out through not getting their allocation through their season ticket though.
  16. Hopefully Ewen will follow up with his threat and report it to the police.
  17. Russell_Nash on FF saw him in there 3 nights before the game. Looks like he eats a lot of pizza.
  18. Correct, and he's been a bit more guarded with his comments ever since.
  19. Above and beyond the call of duty.
  20. I understand it's a lot less than 7 grand.
  21. Far more likely. I'm almost tempted to read the book now. :fish:
  22. St Annes is nice.....
  23. Surely there's got to be a better reason than the fact that he votes for the SNP? Sounds like Smith is trying to Spiersesque, as you suggest, but obviously nowhere near as vituperative about it. As for the SNP's commitment to the Queen, I believe it depends who they are talking to. Quite happy to put it to a vote post-independence. They are after the RC vote as well, as you well know.
