dont bank on it mate. walter smith has been blind to quite a few problems we have that every man and his dog can plainly see so dont expect the 4 5 1 formation to suddenly disapear overnight. Hes still playing the likes of Daily and McCulloch along with a few others i can name and that tells me he doesnt see the same problems as me.

I have been highly critical of our team over the last six months or so, and feel the critisism has been well merited given our form over that period. But when saturday comes ill do what i usually do. Ill don my scarf go to ibrox and GO AND SUPPORT RANGERS. and i urge every other bear to do so. We have major problems to sort out. But they wont be sorted out with the fans costantly on the players backs, being slaughtered with every bad pass or mistake. If there is ever a time to get behind the team it is now. they need our support more than ever given the current climate at the club. Who knows what is in store for the comming season. We may fall flat on our faces form the first off but one thing is for sure, we wont get any better without the support of the fans. ill be keeping my opinions for the forum lads, I still love Rangers and will be supporting them with all my heart and soul. WE ARE THE PEOPLE!

i think smiths negative tactics have destroyed a lot of players confidence. we make no attempt to pass the ball or hold on to it and it isnt only bad to watch, it makes the players look bad as well.

a bit over the top i agree as far as the wording goes. 5 wins in over 20 games for any manager is sacking material.

rumours are rife in liverpool that cuellar is off for 12 mill. he has a 10 million release clause in his contract and theres nothing we can do to stop it.

that was the very first thing i noticed about boyd the first time i seen him play.

the uefa cup run was nothing more than an amazing fluke. we got to the final on our hands and knees playing a brand of football that was nothing short of disgraceful. now it is a weight around our necks and gives walter smith the justification to continue to bore us to death ith his clueless tactics and team selections. when i started this post it wasnt a knee jerk reaction to the liverpool game. ive been well suspect of smith for months now and my fears are comming to fruition. theres nothing id like to do better than eat a couple of platefuls of humble pie where smith is concerned but i just dont see him taking us anywhere (unless we get a huge slice of luck like last season) this time round with the squad of players we have. walter i hope you prove me wrong mate but i wont be betting on money on you.

Given the general standard of our play i have no expectations for this comming season. we will toil and grind against all and sundry and will be lumbered with a manager and a squad who lack vision and tactical awareness at a basic level. to put it bluntly, Were up shit creek.

Ive been disolusioned with our manager for quite some time now and have reached the point were i would like to see him quit his position at Ibrox. My expectations of our team are not being matched by Walter Smith and feel he is dragging the club down with his Negative attitude to the game and his tactical niavety. Having read some of the recent posts recently it is plain to see that quite a few others share the same concerns as I as to where the club is going. we are in dire straits. The Uefa cup run has now become a weight around the neck of our club and covers the cracks in our house of cards which i fear is about to come tumbling down around our feet in the very near future. There has to be big changes at Ibrox very soon if we are to stop the rot. walter has to go.

In this statement Mr Bill Struth set the foundations for the standards we should expect from anyone who is concerned with Rangers, from the the fans right up to the chairman at the very top. But under Walter smith we have been stripped of our dignity, our honour and our self respect. We are a disgrace. The manner in which we play flies in the face of Bill struths philosophy of what we expect at Rangers football club. No flair, No imagination and no skill. bill struth will be turning in his grave.

I was fully expecting an update on the proposed new stadium (rememer the 70,000 seater pipe dream!) but what the hell maybe they were only pulling our leg with that one!

I dont think we can blame any players here. It is all down to smiths tactics. how many times have we dissected the long punt up the park on this site? JCD was a lone figure up front and won absolutely sod all bar 1 free kick in the first half. But even if he did win a ball the rest of our bloody team were still on our own 18 yard line. what the hell is that all about? I fear the worst for the comming season. I really dont see where smith is going with this side. There is absolutely nothing i can complement him on where his team is concerned. It is unbelievable that he perseveres with 1 man up front. Its the same tactics that cost us the league and everyman and his dog can see we just dont have the personel to play such a system. Smith is dragging us into the football gutter and the sooner he goes the better. you simply cannot defend his approach to football. He is lame, inept and clueless. And the only way we will get a change in style and class is a change in the management. My stomach is churning at the thought of another seasons football as bad as the last.

i dont think cuellars english is good enough for him to be captain. He certainly has all the other credentials though.

sorry. im just bloody mad with walter smith. his tactical niavety knows no bounds. we are bloody terrible to watch and ive just forked out 400 quid for a SB. I hope smith retires tommorrow. i have no faith in him watsoever.
