Rangers are again the whipping boys in the media even though we have seen countless bad decisions by referees benefiting other teams over recent weeks. Aberdeen for example have been very hard done by after being denied a point against Celtic and again denied a perfectly good goal against Motherwell, two decisions that knocked them out of the race for a Uefa cup spot but you can hear a pin drop in the media where their plight is concerened. Celtic who should be no where near Rangers in the title race given the decisions they have had in the last six weeks and Dundee utd were very unfortunate on saturday. only when it is Rangers though is there the furore that we are witnessing at the moment. When we beat celtic last time round the game was overshaddowed by the "should kevin Thompson been sent off" debate yet when we fell victim to Mcdonalds own goal and Hesselinks kungfu kick at Amdy Fye there was no such fuss. Again when we lost 2-1 to them Barry Robsons fore arm smash on Weir at the start of the game went unnoticed. What should we do? we get on with our Uefa cup final that were in. Like the Thompson incident earlier in the season it all conveniently surfaces right before a major european match. typical media hype and no more than we expect from the press. So get ready for the final and dont allow yourselves to be detracted from the main issue. forget about boycotts and forget about everyone else, we are in the biggest game in our History (in my life time anyway) and we should be enjoying the moment for what it is, a fantastic occasion for all involved in the club. nothing else should matter, so dont let it.
