I think they need to be more specific when they refer to 'internet bigots". They should be identifying sites and naming and shaming them, not tarring us all with the same brush.

burley talked about the passion and running through brick walls when your picked for your country when he was slating boyd after the Norway game, its just a pity he never made the speech before the game on Saturday. His media skills make him look like an amatuer in front of the camera and as for his tactics and team selections, well i think everyone must be in the same way of thinking in that department. Under Smith and McLeish we had maintained a level of continuity and stability. We were competing again and the fans had regained their passion for the national team. Burley though has managed to undo all that good work in a very short period of time and we now find ourselves questioning his ability to do the job adequately. You wont Find anyone at the SFA publicly wanting to sack him but I suspect that behind close doors there are hints of regret at his appointment now they have had a taste of his leadership.

The Police have released a statement ruling out any celtic supporters being involved in the latest incident...... There wasnt any mistakes in the spelling! ill get my coat....

I couldnt believe burleys statement " walter doesnt play him why should i" Why the hell pick him in the first place? Burley has used the boyd issue to deflect from the fact that he totally fucked up on saturday. he even thinks that he got his tactics right too. Yeah playing Mcfayden up front on his own against the tallest defence this side of the milleneum was a stroke of genius goerge. What next, bring on Jimmy Crankie to mark carew in the away leg? total fuckwit.

our history and tradition is being used to drag us down. You cant be a protestant and a Rangers supporter without being labeled a bigot these days. Our club has strong protestant traditions but more often than not they are percieved by the media to be sectarian traditions. As for losing our history, you just cant do that. It is allways there. Ibrox has been like a morgue the day it became an all seater stadium. The clamp down on the political correctness of certain songs hasnt helped either though the law only seems to apply to us. Septic park is just the same though. I have many friends who follow the dark side and they have the same complaints as us about the atmosphere at games. Football has been smothered by the selfrightousness of society. Why the hell cant i stand at a game? Why cant i barrack the opposition without the fear of being arrested? I loved matchdays when i was younger. Standing shoulder to shoulder to fellow bears, all united behind the team without any discimination from your walk of life. we were one. We were the ibrox roar. Now I find matchdays a chore at times, The flutter in my heart when i walked down edminston drive and seen the crowd all but fizzled out. The buzz of the crowd has had its life sucked dry by do gooders and left us to rot. Times have changed. football isnt a game anymore, its an entertainment business that has no time for our traditions and culture. gone is the working man who every other saturday would go to the pub for a few pints and go to the game at three oclock. Its just not part of the agenda anymore. You can lay the blame on a number of things. Adevertising on shirts, all seater stadiums, medelling polititians and political correctness and over saturisation by tv. They have all contributed to the demise of what we called football. And theres bugger all we can do about it.

rumour has it that Boyd is about to inform the SFA that he would like to be excluded from the Scotland squad as long as George Burley is the manager. Boyd Clearly frustrated at being left out of the squad and absent from hampden yesterday has come to the decision after confiding in family and friends. If this is true then there will certainly be a back lash against burley who has failed to impress as scotland manager so far. He got it tactically wrong by playing Mcfayden as a lone striker yesterday against a Defence that was allmost twice his hight and was forced to change his tactics early in the second half and brought on two untried strikers in a must win game. It is clear for all to see that he doesnt rate boyd even though he has scored in every start for scotland and has 7 goals in 15 outings for Scotland. Personally I dont blame him if he does make the decision. and i wouldnt be suprised if he leaves Ibrox in the winter transfer window either. Smith has treated him no better after stating that he would have to "build a team around him" and then drop him for a player who has struggled to kick his own arse in recent games.

I want murray to go to but not just to anyone. you only need to look at the state of hearts who jumped on the band wagon as soon as some one flashed the dosh and delivered a lot of false promises. I worry about the state of football on a whole. The arse fell out of german football and the EPL is starting to go a bit wobbly around the knees as well. Football has become a plaything for the mega rich which is all fine and dandy for the moment but no one has a clue what will happen when they all become dissinterested. Sooner or later the shit will hit the fan. that is for sure.
-
try not to confuse them with the sun that shines outof murrays arse.

his contract is up soon so expect his form to take a turn for the better, for a short period.

Taking my nephew on thursday night. seems he gets to meet a few players with some of the kids asking questions. If you got to meet a player, what question would you ask him? theres a gold star for the wittiest question. And if i get to meet your player ill ask your question! (winner only)

personally im more than happy with the level and standard of debate on this site. Most users in here are constructive when a post is written and have a general grasp of the English language which makes the debate all the more interesting, which is more than i can say for a few other sites i have visited. Far too often on other sites your post is lost in mountain of replies, some accurate while others just go off on a tangent. Im glad to say that happens very rarely in here. Maybe this site isnt used as much by others you have visited JMS but it doesnt mean that the level of debate is of a lesser quality. In fact in my experience its better. So feel free to post as we all like to hear other sopporters views and opinions of Rangers Football Club. That is why were here after all.

i havent seen anything from this guy to suggest he was worth buying never mind pay 4 million for him. this will come back to bite smith on the arse big time.
-
getting knocked out of europe has cost us very dear. Our chairman and manager too a big gamble by not strengthening the squad before the CL qualifiers and its come back to bite them big time. very very bad management from top too bottom. They took a major risk when we could ill afford the consequences, on and off the park. winning the league is an absolute must this season. That is for sure.
-
id actually forgotton about him!

because we bite to the shite he writes. hes a small fish in a big pond trying to get noticed. but hes not doing it very well.

I totally agree. Buke looked a very promising talent when he was comming through but he has been blighted with injury and his form has always been eratic at best. Its his lack of consistency that is his downfall. I would love to see The likes of fleck and Aaron getting a shot at the big time but as we all know walter hasnt got the balls or the mettle to do it.
-
it certainly is. He was on Radio snyde doing a live interview on the first day of the season and he more or less stated that he had to sell someone. walter was already sniffing around and he got the nod.

if theres any chance of you packing them into a zip file and making them available for download then i would be eternally grateful. could be added to the site for download. see frankie if your interested.

Rangers v Kilmarnock - Player Ratings and MoM Poll
gisabeer replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
weir should carry the blame for the goal. he should have hoofed the ball into row z but committed the defenders cardinal sin by letting the ball bounce instead. A real schoolboy error. Edu was absolutely shocking too. a bit overawed by the occasion i think. We made it hard for ourselves and could have had 4 or 5 but a welcome three points in the end. At least the football is far more positive this season. good to see us putting passes together (especially the forward ones!) and trying to actually win games. -
biggest bag of shite ive read in years. Doesnt matter where you live, you can take the boy out of scotland but you cant take the scotland out of the boy. By the same token, is he less of a Rangers fan too for living abroad?. or maybe you want him to jet in for every home game.

boot him out and ban him. this is not what this forum is about. if i want the opinions of stv ill switch on the telly and watch it. but there is very little chance of that happening.
