my brother in law has just died through alchoholism at the ripe old age of 43 . we could do nothing to help him. in the end the whole family distanced them selves very slowly over a period of time from him. Not that they wanted to. he just couldnt be helped. He was set in his ways and the only time you did see him was to "lend him a tenner" and hed be off again. Its an illness. It can be treated but the end user has to want to be treated. i dont feel sorry for gazza. I thought the player had to actually touch the ball to be offside. otherwise he is deemed to be not interfering with play. a good example of this is one of the goals Villareal scored against us in the CL a few years ago when one of their players was in an offside position but didnt touch the ball when they scored. It was highlighted at the time but was accepted by all after being analysed and scrutinsed in the press.

If he turns in a performance like he did last saturday you will not be dissapointed. he can hold the ball, shrug off the opposition, see a pass and the one i like best, MAKE A FORWARD PASS THAT ENDS UP AT THE FEET OF ONE OF OUR PLAYERS! i seen more forward passes against hearts than i have over the last six months at Ibrox. he also brought players into the game and linked up very well with Thompson. all we haver to do is get rid of McCulloch and we just might have a decent team on our hands.
