  1. You would think he would have given us a less shitty deal. Or maybe that's why he's got loads of money.
  2. Certainly food for thought. Between Ashley and King, my natural instinct is to trust King much more.
  3. The wolves are howlin' and the durn injuns are circlin' This is about to become a media frenzy. I wonder if DK will say anything?
  4. Barca, I think the general consensus is that we haven't been playing anything that looks like football for years now. Maribor and Malmo should have been the warning signs. Ever since then, I think a lot of us have been thinking it will be better next week. Thing is, next week never seems to come.
  5. OK BH - I'll go along with you. Here we go:- Pinchos di Ronda Pollo al Ajillo Sardines a la Plancha Gamba al Pil-Pil Cordero en Salsa Albondigas en Tomate Picadillo Andaluz Ensalada de Pimientos Asados Queso de Cabra Fundido Pisto Manchego
  6. Likewise - happy to eat what's there. Tapas is great when you're sharing lots of different things.
  7. I note that FF is pulling threads featuring the karaoke image. Anyone know if there's a specific reason?
  8. If that was last night, there's one more reason for him calling it a day. A more professional soul would have been studying the game and working out what to change for the United game. Karaoke?
  9. The reasons for replacing Ally are simple. He was incapable of taking us to the last level, let alone the next one. And as regards SPFL and European football, it's way beyond the management team's competence. That is not my opinion by the way. It's the truth.
  10. Her name's Anne Budge. It may very well be brinkmanship ahead of tomorrow. However my experience with people from the former Soviet bloc is never to play either poker or chess with them.
  11. Sad news indeed D'Art if you're withdrawing from forum comment. In my view, it merely allows the victors the spoils. And any right minded Rangers supporter should be worried if some of the Ethernet Rangers community are allowed to defacto become "the" Rangers support. Should you follow through with this, the online community will be a poorer place indeed. I trust you will change your mind in time.
  12. "Serious" is a gross understatement, GS. I'm afraid that the management team need looked at - with extreme prejudice. Thereafter, with the right changes, a lot may fall into place.
  13. Fair point, Walter. Don't see our management team lasting long if he takes control. Ashley has previous in being ruthless.
  14. Agree absolutely, rbr. However, my point is the inherent unfairness of anonymous attacks against fellow Bears. Why should those who cloak their identity and use it aggressively remain anonymous. For all we know, they could be Tims, or people who have the destruction of our Club as a prime motive.
  15. I no doubt lead a sheltered existence. The only thing I've ever read from Gail Richardson is her well written contribution to "Follow We Will." If there are some brownshirts out there having their own little social media Kristallnacht then, in the interests of all, their identities and modus operandi should be made common knowledge to us all. Each of us can then make up our mind as to what we think.
  16. At work on Friday, a Hibs supporter had a dig about the Diddy Cup. I reminded him that the Diddy team we're playing knocked his team out of the SC.
  17. The issue of pyro is a smoke screen. If Police Scotland really wanted to rid the country of smoke bombs and flares, they could. They could use existing legislation or put a case forward for more effective legislation so that those selling it irresponsibly are hammered. Claiming that a ban of surfers will control the problem is like something out of a comic book. Enforcement wise, it makes far more sense to control the licensing and the sale of pyro than chase every wee ned that has visions of growing up into a wee ultra. Police Scotland would better serve themselves and the country by engaging with football fans and developing a solid mutually respectful working relationship. A much better state of affairs than this rapidly deteriorating relationship which is going to end in tears and will take decades to fix.
  18. Can't remember him asking if we wanted him to buy us? I've got my answer ready.
  19. Way I see it is that, if Police Scotland want to enforce any laws, they should be the ones who are making the statements.
  20. Sounds like a lack a clarity. Police Scotland should be able to speak for themselves. As should David Martin. And it should be in writing. Someone is screwing up here. All these quotes must have been given by someone and to someone. Would just be helpful to find out who is right, who is wrong and who is the word of the gospel in future.
  21. Totally agree Zappa. However, everything would come to a vote, if I'm correct, so interesting times. My thoughts are that most of this should never need to happen if there were larger leagues, which per se guarantee more stability. Our smaller leagues and promotion and relegation are there purely on the whim that some people deem it to be more exciting. That's totally perverse. In any other business, those who govern Scottish football would have been run out of town for their ineptitude. And being careful what I say in these litigatious times, my opinion is that Stewart Regan and Neil Doncaster are the most inept people to have ever overseen Scottish football. Perhaps they pride themselves in being the most financially rewarded we have ever witnessed, but I would predict that the longer they are in office, the less likelihood there is of Scottish football surviving in a sustainable and entertaining form. What I would like to get across is the fact that we cannot continue to behave like this as fans. The abhorrent and obscene behaviour of some fans in recent years is killing our game. Celtic fans (and others) wanted us killed off - and are still actively pursuing that agenda. Understandably, a large part of our fanbase wants to exact revenge. Hibs fans want Hearts killed off and are communicating with those in control of the UBIG/UKIO administration process. Hearts fans are presently bleating about the unfairness of other supporters actively disrupting that process, but conveniently forget that they actively wanted us to disappear forever. Scottish football is in the death throes. We're merely watching it spasm and foam at the mouth before it kicks the bucket - but it wasn't a natural cause. It was self inflicted. It was suicide.

  23. Bit perverse that Police Scotland charge football clubs (or organisers) top dollar for their fine officers, and even go to the length of dictating how many fine officers there should be. Then they also dictate things such as size of flags etc. However, it is Police Scotland. By that I mean there is one Police Force in Scotland. Therefore their policy for size of banners etc should be consistent across the nation, and should be in some form of guidance. That is, rules for Sunday should be consistent with rules for Parkhead etc. If not, does it mean they're making up the rules as they go along. An FOI would answer the question.
