The modern plague
Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose replied to Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose's topic in Rangers Chat
Her sis was there the other day and the cameras were never off her. Am I the only one that thinks she's rough? Nice derriere but she is Kate's ugly sister IMO -
The modern plague

If I hear another Celtic fan say in that this is good for the SPL in terms of competition I'll scream! These people are truly feekin deluded -
Ok guys. A wee change of pace after all the Div 3/ sanction threads Like most Bears, after today's (expected) news I was a wee bit flat. I had a day off so I kept myself busy and went into town to gather supplies for an impending attempt at the West Highland Way but what did I see upon my arrival at Glasgow Central? 2 drunken jakes/junkies in those vile bumble bee Celtic strips hobbling across the main concourse. Feeking great. That's all I need today. After a quick wizz through the required shops I made my way back home on the train only to be greeted by another monstrosity in my train carriage. Some guy was wearing the new Celtic strip with accompanying bright green Celtic plastic bag. Nice... I didn't really think about it much when I got home as I turned on the Tennis to see Murray take on Ferrer at Wimbledon. I'm a big tennis fan so I was looking forward to this one. After a close first 2 sets Murray drew level by winning the 2nd set. Fantastic I thought until I noticed in the crowd a guy jumping up and down with a Celtic strip on. You have to be feeking joking I thought. Let's think about it. You have tickets for one of the most famous arenas in the world to see two of the best tennis players go head to head. Why would your first reaction be..."I'll get ma sellik tap oan..." What has celtic got to do with tennis or Andy Murray? What is wrong with these people? I'm not one for rants but as today as relevance all I want to say is this. Wherever we are playing next season or the season after or the season after that, we will be back. We will games by endevour. We will fight for every ball. We will play hard and fair. In time we will take our rightful place as Scotlands greatest club and in turn make sure that this plague is put in it's proper place. End of rant!

Not directly Rangers related but in the current climate I thought it was relevant http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2168544/Manchester-United-listed-New-York-stock-exchange-Glazers.html After reading this can someone with half a brain tell me if this means Man Utd are techncially a new co? If the club are a "subsidiary" of a holding company, what does that mean?

By bringing in the Celtic factor Brown is trying to boost his support and pull on the more emotional element of our support. I for one, wish he would put up or feeking shut up. Stop using the media for your daily exclusives that only ever deliver more questions than answers. The next time you provide one of these statements, here are a few suggestions. Don't use the words hoping, might and soon. Just tell us what you're planning to reveal FFS I know it's harsh but of all the ex-players that could front a takeover bid, we get one that can hardly put a sentence together.

Any links to new 3rd strip anyone?
Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose replied to Anchorman's topic in Rangers Chat
Sorry to disagree but I know our history. I don't need to be reminded with stars on our strip. Maybe I'm just being a purist but I prefer the classic RFC monogram. IMO the stars are cheap. Oh and while I'm in Scrooge mode, that strip is honking. If thid is meant to be our 3rd strip, what is going to be our 2nd? -
Hibernian derive their name for the Latin name for Ireland, Hibernia
-
Hibernian still relates to place name and Everton is still valid regardless of who has heard of it.
-
Fair doos mate but Rangers will always just be Rangers to me. In fact Rangers and indeed Celtic are among a unique group of British clubs that don't derive their names from a specific geographical name/location. St.Mirren, Albion Rovers, Queen of the South and Arsenal are 4 more. There might be a few more that I've missed??

Too little too late Walter.... -
Sorry to be pedantic but it's not Glasgow Rangers. It's Rangers and always will be

Green Hints He Will Accept Conditions
Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
I'm happy that we're paying our football debts TBH but waving all rights to any legal challenges is a genuine worry. We could end a sitting feekin duck -
Ok, we know it's been open season in the media on Rangers, their fans and anything to do with us over the last year or so but do you think the wind is changing direction? I understand the role of the printed press is to get a story out there to flog units but do they really care what story is about or it's targets? I would imagine as long as it sells papers they don't give a hoot. Thanks to the goings on of Murray and Whyte there has been much to talk about to be honest, so it's hardly surprsing that they would print so many stories. RANGERS are THE news after all and will always will be. Sometimes the tone of some of the reporting has been worrying at times and very negative regarding our club but let's be honest for the printed media, all their Christmas' must have come at once with Rangers downfall. There has been one thing that has been missing from all these stories and that was the victims ie. the hard working Rangers fans who paid good money only to be shafted by wreckless owners but I get the impression that things might be turning... Tryanor did a piece a few weeks back that possibly the most positive thing that I've seen come from the DR regarding Rangers in ages. It spoke about the fans and indeed "the club" being the innocent parties as they suffered at the hands of their wreckless custodians. Over the last few days I've heard Keith Jackson at times almost stick up for Rangers in terms of their punishments from the SPL/SFA and indeed he goes to great lengths to correct people about why we are being punished as so many people seem to think that the EBTs are part of this. I don't know...maybe it's just me? All we need is a good meaty story about the incompetence of the governing body in this whole sorry affair. Maybe throw in an agenda or two reagrding a high profile CE and the media may change their focus for a while.... We'll see

If this is true, I would gladly see the back of Regan but the scalp I would want is Liewell. I truly do not like that smug little man. Still makes me sick when I think of his interview comparing Celtic to Man Utd in terms of "tragedies" and triumphs. It was almost as if he was riding on the coat tails of the Munich disaster. Shameless

Over the last few months we have been subjected to a daily diet of heated debate, varying opinion, wild speculation and troublesome hearsay regarding our future. Recent events seem to have left us with a dilema regarding where we will be playing next season, with many fans demanding a drop to the 3rd division and many others viewing the option of a short stay in the 1st Division. Like every Rangers fan, I have read much on both of these alternatives and what it could mean to our club. I have chewed over possible outcomes and the reasons for them but there is one thing that is troubling me about all of this. What state will the league be in when we return to the top flight? As much as I totally understand the desire of many fans to see the financial capilulation of the clubs that voted against us in the SPL, but ultimately where would that leave us and our game? Rangers do not exist in a football vacuum. We need a league to compete in and the stronger that league is, the better it will be for us as a club long term. That's maybe why I'm leaning towards Div 1 at the moment. As much as I would love to dish out some revenge to the clubs that have peddled this "sporting integrity" line , I am not sure watching their financial demise unfold for 3 years as we rise through the leagues is the best thing for our club. Surely the reason we would want to rise from the so called ashes is to take our rightful place as Scotlands premier football club? If that is the case, then I fail to see the benefits of us returning to an inferior league than we already have (if that's posible) Is now not the time for long term thinking? Once we have established where we will be and what form the footballing bodies will take, IMO we need to swallow a huge bucket of pride and instead of marginalising ourselves in the Scottish game, be at the forefront of the changes that surely lie ahead. As I stated above we don't exist in a football vacuum and we need a decent league to play in. Sure, we will never forget these odious clubs an their two faced double standards but let's be the bigger person here. Let's regroup and rebuild and get back to doing what we do best. Winning football matches and lifting trophies.

Of course when Celtic are challenged about any decisions that they have been given the roll out the age old classic.... it's only a fraction what we've been due after 122 years of being cheated.... I genuinely feel sorry them sometimes.
-
Are you mad?
-
The OP is rather harsh on Gary Steven IMO. Players that I've disliked.... Fernando Ricksen Kevin Muscat. Just a thug El Hadj Diouf. How this vile fool was allowed to wear the blue jersey and almost derail our title challenge with one man circus, is beyond me. Allan Johnson. He was uTter gash. A winger that couldn't beat a man...yip...very good

Why Brown is closer to blue than Green

That may be tad harsh but do I think he is the wrong guy for this job. That impromptu speech was hardly the stuff of legends was it? It was embarrassing TBH -
