  1. All this talk of a DoF and Niall McGinn slipped through. Where on earth has that come from! Graham Parks will be club captain before McGinn wears a rangers jersey
  2. I heard a while back that Graham Park wants to be DoF. We'd be even more of a laughing stock if that were to happen. I know he led the managerial interviews. Don't fancy him or Levein
  3. Last night was awful, roll on Sunday and we can put this terrible season to bed. Losing 5-1 to them twice in a season, losing 4-1 to a hearts team that couldn't get Europe twice, watching them go unbeaten and probably winning a treble and add in losing the Aberdeen record. This season can do one. Last night was torture to watch at times. We essentially had no midfield. I'm not sure ive seen a clear game plan since Pedro came in and unless we have an excellent summer transfer window then we will be lucky to finish above Aberdeen next season. Miller in midfield, I understand hes our best player but he's way more effective in attack. Toral is as slow as a week in the jail, that boys gonna tumble down the divisions once he returns to Arsenal. McKay, on his day the best player in the country, unfortunately its rarely his day lately and he doesn't particularly care anyways. Go out and earn a bumper deal Barrie. Windass geeing up the crowd when we go 2 down, eh Josh, you've not done a thing so far, think that headband might be a little too tight round his head. Dodoo went missing. So many of our team just aren't interested in any sort of physical battle. Crowd the midfield and rough us up and you'll leave with 3 points. I thought the young boys were good though. Especially Beerman. Wasn't afraid to take a man on and on a couple of occasions I was hoping he'd have a ping but that'll come. 2 CB's were solid enough and Barjonas looked composed when he came on. I'd give all the kids a go on Sunday as they cant be as bad as the so called pro's that should be helping them!
  4. Anyone who wouldn't take a player of Naismiths quality back is kidding themselves. We aren't in a position to hold grudges. Instant improvement on what we have
  5. Just in from that shambles today. I'm lost for words. No rangers team should ever lose 5 goals at home to Celtic. Those imposters don't care. Only Miller is Rangers class. We have a massive summer coming up and I'm not sure we've the right guys running our club, I'm unconvinced about our manager and I'm absolutely certain it'll cost us money we don't have to get rid of the players pretending they are Rangers players. Depressing thought
  6. I've a feeling it'll be a long afternoon again for us bears. There's more chance of us not showing up than of us coming out with a bit of heart and passion.
  7. We aren't going to win any league title or come close to it playing Wigan players with Wigan mentalities. We are all still hurting 6 hours after the dust has settled, I reckon you could count on one hand how many of those boys are still hurting after that. Sometimes when you sign guys from smaller clubs, they instantly get it and know they have to step up EVERY week. We've signed players from small clubs who just don't get it. I can take getting beat by a better team and Celtic are better all over the park but with so little effort and heart is torture to watch. Basics like concentration, passing and fitness levels are all things everyone of our players has control over. None of them care though. Celtic have played a lot more games than us this season and don't even look like they are tiring. Theres a massive summer coming up for Rangers and we now need to focus everything into next season. Get rid of the dross and get some new faces in early or this will be the way we are feeling for some time to come!
  8. Old Firm games should be played at 8pm on a Sat night and screened all round Europe. Stick it in a slot that no one uses. It doesn't have the quality but the passion and 100 miles an hour element will have ppl glued. Maybe then we'd get a better TV deal. Having the game at 12 doesn't stop binge drinking. It's time we dictate
  9. Awful move for the boy. He'll be added to the dozens of young boys out on loan every year and won't play a single game for Chelsea. Whereas he could be in our first team by next year and playing competitive football at a massive club. Done wonders for McCarthy and McCarthur at Hamilton
  10. He's looked at the deal and its not one we can get out without masses of legal issues. It makes sense to be the bigger man and extend the olive branch to the slug for a few years. I don't like it. But if it's us wearing our kits again. And more importantly revenue then I genuinely believe that the Rangers fans will break records when we can buy our own merch! A girfuy moment to everyone who's had their say on us these last 5 years. Positive statements all round for me
  11. In all the nonsense I've read you posting this takes the biscuit. The penny's dropped though. Yours is a parody account?
  12. Clancy is really good friends with my cousin. They both used to attend Parkhead in days gone by til my cousin moved to London. Now they share the odd Rangers joke text back and forth. He's listed as a 'Partick' fan and don't mention what school he went to. He's been consistently poor in our games. How he gets to ref our games is a joke. Anyways, I thought St Johnstone were poor for the first 60 mins and the game changed when Millers link up play and coming deep and creating space in behind disappeared from our game. Waggy upfront with Miller in a number 10 and McKay free role for Hamilton game for me. Again when we get McKay interested we look a completely different team. I thought we were finally going to go on and put 4/5 past a team for a change but the last half hour we lacked the spark of the first 60. Hopefully the late winner gives us a confidence boost and add that to a new manager coming in, hopefully we can get a bit of stability and momentum heading into the last part of the season
  13. Kris Boyd saying that Davies was the type of manager that got you out of bed in the morning to get on your bike to get fit. Eh Kris, that's a PT mate. You're a professional footballer, at the very least you can be fit. English comes across terribly. It's what keeps him on shows like these.
  14. His net spend was -£14,000,000
  15. Prso, Boumsong, Watterus, Novo, Buffel, Boyd, Fergie, I could too. His last signing he made as a manager was Ndidi for free. Sold to Leicester for 17 million
  16. You and your search for the truth. He MADE Rangers 14 million in his time with us. Repeatedly sacked? Villa? Where are they now? He left Genk. He was sacked in Egypt for not playing the presidents preferred players while winning matches. I've seen his winners medal cabinets (plural). Trust me, he's a manager
  17. Just the negative stuff from back then is though, yeah? Of course it's relevant. He knows what it is to be a winner with Rangers. And until De Boer or someone of that calibre wants the job he's our best shot! We are a shambles just now and we've got a Rangers man who has given Rangers fans a few of their more cherished memories willing to come back in and try help sort out our mess!
  18. Aye I remember sitting in a stadium in Villarreal going out on goal difference in the Champions League thinking, you know what, this is awful. Much better those days are behind us. Enjoy your free Saturdays mate. Nice weather coming in as well. Jackpot
  19. Dembele is on 35K a week. Imagine we signed him and had him on that. What would the media be saying then?
  20. Maybe. Maybe he'll win us the Scottish cup and a treble in his first full season again
  21. I'd take Redknapp too tbh but does he have the desire for it anymore? Govans a long way from Sandbanks in Poole. He won the league in his 4th season with us and the league cup in his 3rd season with Brum. I get your point about him hitting the ground running in jobs, he does tend to do that. Surely that's a good thing for us. I really think we need to forget the past. Good and bad. Get behind whoever takes this job. There are enough folk shooting us down without us doing it ourselves.
  22. He made our club 14 million from taking over til leaving. Think about that. And what happened not long after. Our only ever manager in net profit I believe. I've no problem with folk not wanting him. My preference is FdB but he doesn't want it right now so we need to look elsewhere. People have short memories and need to be aware where we are. After he won the treble he was offered the Spurs job but he turned it down knowing he was going to be hamstrung by selling our best players and trying to compete. Because he was a Rangers man. The very least he deserves is a clean slate. Getting on his back, 'hanging up your scarf' or 'I'll not be back', yeah that attitude isn't going to get us anywhere. We've been great at sticking together in recent years and turning out in numbers. It MUST continue regardless of who's in charge
  23. Fixed that for you mate. All facts now.
  24. Ive heard this as well from a pretty decent source. We don't look like a team that does it homework at set pieces
  25. He's won one trophy. 1. And he's been hailed as the new Jock Stein. After 1 trophy with a budget 3 times the size of his nearest rivals. They've smashed it this year domestically. But in Europe they were embarrassed on more than one occasion, Red Imps and Barca spring to mind.
