  1. How many plane tickets, taxi rides, hotel bills etc must Rangers have paid Bain to travel to meet clubs only to offer a laughably paltry sum of money? Going by recent history, he'll offer £1m take-it-or-leave-it and we'll get laughed at. Stupid, stupid tactics. Until I see players paraded I refuse to believe any of the transfer rumours flying around (get it?).
  2. Apparently he's interested in both us and Spurs ergo - we've got nae chance.
  3. Thats par for the course. You need to have a permanent screw loose on there
  4. Aye, yer taxi's waiting!
  5. Jeezo. We really are getting over excited over the most tenuous of rumours. If he ends up signing and is a great player then fine, but, sadly, the majority of these rumours are without foundation.
  6. Re my previous post. I recommend we compain via the correct channels whilst at the same time making our own protests i.e. handing back tickets, not spending money at the ground on matchday.
  7. Why not. He's young, has potential, pace, skill, finisihing ability and he's proved his worth consistently over the past couple of seasons. I would stress that he could be a great Rangers player in the same way any other player may have the potential to be a great (Sebo, Capucho, Emerson etc., excluded)
  8. Was Harry Redknapp not quoted as saying he really liked Todd on that Panorama documentary?
  9. Still not convinced it's the way forward. I think we need to make our complaints via the correct channels regardless of whether Celtic complain. Perhaps if the club returned a token amount of tickets as a gesture of dissatisfaction; along with a formal complaint via the SFA/SPL or whoever the corrrect body for this is. Also, fans could refuse to partake in any spending in and around the ground on matchday. These suggestions might be a better means of making our thoughts known?
  10. Quite sensible really. The more I read about this guy the more I think he could be a great Rangers player. Another season as Killie's first choice striker would not be a bad thing IMO.
  11. If you geoffrey boycott all the away games then you penalise those clubs who offer tickets to away fans at reasonable prices. The trouble with rejecting tickets for Tynecastle is that they are likely to be able to sell the tickets to their own fans which would render the whole exercice pointless. Best thing to do would be for the clubs(s) to take the matter up with the SPL. Did they not fine someone last season for over-inflating tickets for away fans?
  12. No, that would be "Help! My name is Buba3d. I'm stuck in a nutshell. Let me out. Mummeeee!!" :fish: Taxi's waiting....

    We Are

Been on the shandy again Gribz?
  14. Was thinking about this. Is it perhaps someting to do with the length of their existing contracts? If Henry only has 1 year left then £16m is a good deal for Arsenal since he could leave for nowt next season. Still, £16m for Bentyboy is laughable regardless of how long his contract has left to go at Charlton.
  15. Lets not get our knickers in a twist here lads. No football teams want to sign up big-money players at the start of the window because if your paying £25k a week and you sign them in may, you've already paid them the best part of £300k by the time the next season starts. Money talks!
  16. Will believe it when I see it!

    Guilly

Totally agree. Can hardly even read the back pages at the moment due to the distinct smell of shite that eminates from them!
  18. Hope not. He's been pretty solid when called upon without ever standing out. A good player to have since he can cover a number of positions.
  19. Anyone else getting incredibly bored with the same re-hashed nothing-new-to-say tabloid journo hack transfer exclusives?
  20. Agreed, Bain out and someone with experience and a tracker record in!
  21. Just because these men were great players for us, it doesn't mean they will automatically be great scouts, negotiators, fixers - or whatever role is being suggested. I dont like Bain any more than the next man but I would rather put someone in place with experience and a track record.
  22. I think it's a great move. It gives junior/ senior clubs the chance for a crack at the big boys which is no bad thing. For me, it's a stepping stone to having a pyramid structure which is what the game has been crying out for. Hopefully Gordon Smith will push for it.
  23. Yawn, what a boring story. Somebody wake me up if/when he signs.
  24. Totally agree. We need some substance to back this up. Somehow I doubt we'll get it.
  25. It's early days but the noises from Coisty and the brief evidence on those vids is that Gow could be one of our better signings!
