  1. Thats pretty much how I'm reading it too. He's not going to be disillusioned one moment and then be happy to stay the next unless somethings changed.
  2. Damn just missed him. Anyone hear him?
  3. Thats some first post mate!
  4. He's not a regular goal scorer. I think he's got about 12 goals for each of the past 2 seasons - not what we need I'm afraid.
  5. Sorry Gribzy- think I just misread your original post.
  6. Sutton was getting a power of abuse when he came on yesterday
  7. He had horrendous luck with injuries which meant he never fulfilled his potential. That said - for a man with a cracking left foot he hardly scored (maybe once) and his cross balls were awful
  8. Just make small bets for interest like £1 or £2. Stuff losing £10 & £20 - footballs too unpredictable.
  9. I've been thinking that he's needed a goal to get a wee bit of confidence so hopefully this is just the start. Adam the new Albertz? Why not but Adam will need to work on his accent has the Hammer sounds more Scottish than he does!
  10. Ligthen up Gribz. We shouldn't get carried away but we should at least recognise a good performance given the teams current form, the dreadful conditions, the fact we scored 3 goals away to a team who have a reputation for not conceding and hardly lose at home. Credit where credit's due - PLG got it spot on. Lets see what happens tomorrow.
  11. I thought it was a good moment. He's obviously desperate to play and Le Guen has given him his chance and he's saying "you cant leave me out now". Hopefully he gets another goal tomorrow. If Novo and Boyd keep their partnership going we really will be giving someone a real going over soon.
  12. Didn't say I necessarily agree with everything said just that it was interesting. Good to hear different points of view to get a balanced perspective. That said, Calscot's mouth is big enough to speak for itself!
  13. Not everyone's opinion I would argue but a good read.... http://stateofthegame.co.uk/2006/10/19/rangers-back-the-manager-back-the-chairman-be-a-supporter/
  14. If PLG got us to the champions league quarter final i would be pretty happy
  15. He's a home boy apparently. He's knocked back big money moves to Torino (I think) in the past telling them they can stick they're billion lire (or words to that effect); also he is an Italian international. Furthermore he apparently wrote a book about Torino's efforts to get him
  16. It's mostly paper talk. I'll believe it when I see it.
  17. Another rumour I just heard on real radio is that Bardsley had a bust up with PLG because he was asked to train with the reserves and refused. Also that he's on his way back to Manure tonight
  18. Got a feeling that Celtic might be too strong for them. If Celtic get an early goal I think they might win 2-1 or 3-1. Having said that if Benfica keep it tight and hold onto the ball they'll get the crown on Timmy's back so it's pretty open for me.
  19. I'm not in favour of rushing him back into the team - remember when Eck brought him back for the Old Firm game last season!
  20. I thought that he's looked decent. Would like to see him get some accuracy on his cross balls and set pieces as we could do with another left sided midfielder who has a decent ping.
  21. Here here. Archie Campbell certainly has plenty of pace to burn and showed some good touches. Scot Durie (Jukebox's son) also had a decent game in defence.
  22. The biggest thing for me is that Le Guen hasn't necessarily played his strongest team in every game. Granted we've had key players injured at various times i.e Letizi, Ferguson, Clement & Burke which have not helped (you might not think Letizi is a key player but he's the managers number 1 so that makes him key IMO). Other times he's chopped and changed formations which hasn't allowed players to settle. Also, he's played key men such as Boyd and then taken him out of the team despite him scoring 5 league goals already (joint top scorer if I'm not mistaken); and taken other players out of the team such as Mcgregor when he's been playing well. Squad rotation will be key to any success we get this season due to the volume of games but until we gain some consistency we need a settled team in a settled formation. Back to basics! I still have faith in PLG. He may have underestimated the task ahead but I still think he'll get it right. I just hope it's not too late to salvage the league when he does.
  23. Greetings!
  24. As pete mentions, he was offside in phase one although not interfering with play so it's a no from me although I think it's a shocking rule.
  25. Apparently there were 7 Rangers players in the starting line up
