  1. I'm more concerned about Sundays trip to Dundee. It's been a real bogey ground for us over the years and I was there earlier in the season when they beat us 2-1. I am confident if we can take 3 points on Sunday they will drop points elsewhere and the league could be over before we even play the last game at the scumdome
  2. Although I'm not disputing that Hutton was virtually asked to leave I would have to question the source of this story. I often see stories from this tribalfootbal site on newsnow and more often than not I take them with a pinch of salt!!!
  3. Check out these links via the Mitchell Library site, http://www.mitchelllibrary.org/virtualmitchell/index.php?a=district&s=gallery&key=dYToxOntpOjA7czo1OiJJYnJveCI7fQ==&pg=5 There are only a couple here but I'm sure if you spend a bit of time searching through their archives you will find more
  4. I usually drive to the games as it keeps the costs down (I have a company car) with my brother and another mate. We usually arrive with time to spare so grab a quick drink in the Govan Bowling club then walk up to the ground. After the game we head back to the bowling club for a drink to let the traffic die down then head home. Sometimes for big games we'll take the train and head into the city for a good bevvie then head to the game. On days like this we usually head for the Louden Bar along PRW and get a few more drinks before heading back into the city.
  5. Did any of you hear the clyde phone in on Sunday after the Killie game. Some of the idiots phoning in about McCurry were unbelievable. One guy quite blatantly stated that McCurry was either a cheat or a coward relating to various incidents wher he felt that Rangers players should have received yellow cards in recent matches, when asked if he could back up is claims with evidence the guy was really stuck. Then the panel realised the callers could be in hot water if they continued to make allogations along those lines and warned them there could be legal implacations. If I was McCurry i'd be getting the contact details of these numpties through radio clyde and do them for slander.
  6. Looks like it's going to be a Man U - Chelsea final if they can avoid each other in the next round
  7. and also with the new tv deals around europe kicking in this season, experts predict this will be the last time you will find clubs from the smaller leagues getting close to the top 20
  8. On a more sour note and what angered me more was the booing of the team at the final whistle. IMO based on the negative formation WS set up I though the team played quite well and on another night Nacho could have had a hat-trick. I just don't understand what they did to deserve being booed off the pitch
  9. This would be a terrible decision for WS. The fans have already made it quite clear KM is not wanted at Ibrox.
  10. F***ing brilliant, we're going to miss him. A C****c fan i work with said today who's Allan Hutton anyway? I said to him ask McG***y cos he's been in his pocket for the last 4 old firm games. GIRUY!!!
  11. Oh yes I forgot the, All the Best Hutton, hope you win some trophies and don't worry, if you keep playing like you have been the move to Man Utd that you really wanted will be just around the corner:cheers:
  12. To be honest I am totally gutted now it's been confirmed. He is the first real talent to be produced by Murray Park and the most exiting Scottish player I've seen since Advocaat gave Barry his chance all those years ago. I know this is exactly the reason why we spent the money on MP however I just feel we've hardly had any time to enjoy Hutton. After his leg break it was only around the start of 2007 when his performances started to show some promise and since then the likes of Mc****y have not been out of his pocket. It was inevitable he would end up in the Premiership but I didn't think it would be so soon. I just hope this doesn't affect the minds of the rest of the team or do anything to damage the momentum we have been building as we definately play with more confidence when Hutton is bursting down the right wing.
  13. Yeah, Walter confirmed on the radio that he had already played for 2 clubs this season so it's a no no
  14. I know this sounds cheesy but here here! We've had enough of the scum playing shite then getting a late winner over the last few years so I don't mind when we get a break and to use an old cliche " it's title winning form to get the 3 points even when we play badly"
  15. and big Wilko only scoring 2 goals in 70 appearances. I remember one of them very clearly:D
  16. It's been on the go for years, I just couldn't remember if i'd posted it before. If you go back to the home page it has all the records for just about every team in Scotland & England aswell
  17. agreed, it took Hutton about a year before he started playing like he is now. So perhaps LB is still an important position to fill as neither Papac nor Whitticker are LB's
  18. Anyone ever seen this site before. http://www.neilbrown.newcastlefans.com/rangers/rangers.htm Quite an interesting read and very handy for those tricky footbal trivia questions.
  19. Is this confirmed??? I need to make travel arrangements, again!
  20. Please let this be true. This guy is the worst player I've seen at Ibrox since hmmmmmmm Sebo or maybe Capucho or maybe Ostenstad, no wait........never mind he is pish, Good riddance!!!
  21. i'd give naismith a chance. he's played well in the last two games and set up two goals. Also remember buffel is fit again so i wouldn't be surprised if he makes an apperance today
  22. Is this Tully guy for real? I smell a rat!
  23. God! They bring back a few memories. Strangely my latest top I own is the 78-83 top.
  24. Trailio

    Alan Hutton

Zambrotta is one of the best full backs in the world and he was really struggling against his forward runs, I think that says a lot but not only that his first touches, changes of pace to take him away from players his short and long passes were outstanding today and have been just about every time he's played this year. His overall game just keeps getting better, god knows where he'd be if he hadn't lost a year with that leg break. WS and DM are you listening, don't dare even think about selling this gem!!
  25. I would be dissapointed if WS sold any regular first team players in Jan. Cousin has been playing well and his first touch and close control is outstanding for such a big guy, I also think there is more to come from him. If for example WS sold a couple of players ie Cousin & Hutton, replacements would need to be purchased and there is no guarantee we could find suitable players at that stage in the season. A dangerous situation to get into if we are pushing for the championship.
