  1. IMO if we can bring success back to the club, win a few titles back to back, a couple of scottish cups etc then I believe the media will turn their attention back to the scum. During the 9 in a row campaigns we received a lot less bad press than we do now. I always remember that scpetic were the paranoid club back then but know I feel that we are going that way. If big Walter gets it right then I'm sure we can shut the media up by doing our talking on the park.
  2. Check out http://www.neilbrown.newcastlefans.com/rangers/rangers.htm Some good information but only good upto 05/06 season.
  3. pulled hamstring
  4. According to the above link Benfica are 20th
  5. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=407419&cc=5739 The scum are not even on this list??? What is Murray doing with this cash?
  6. What a load of bull. I was absolutely delighted that scumbag Hartley signed for the manky mob. Nothing like the Mojo thing. Shut your fat gob Fulton, it's still 1-0 to the mighty Gers.
  7. I think it was arranged because we have a free weekend and WS wanted to keep the teams match fitness up.
  8. Yeah just saw on the bbc site that he is due to sign for the scum today. Thank f@*k for that! I was worried that we were going to get him. I don't rate him at all and it's a waste to spend £1m on a 30 year old that has never proved himself outside the spl. Would much prefer Brown and Naismith, better prospects and not big headed posers like that knob Hartley. We've had too many of them over the years. Happy Days!!!!!
  9. You need to stay away from those coffee shops mate:thup:
  10. According to last nights news this squad is only for a first get together down at Turnbury. This is not the squad for the Georgia game.

It was a sign of changed days on Saturday when a defender gets a huge cheer for going in hard to win a high ball. Just shows you what we've been missing.
  12. Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of Thompson. My point is he has been playing well this season and has scored a few goals in a league which is arguably of a higher standard than the SPL. Places in the national squad should be decided based on current form, not past. How many goals has Riordan scored this season?
  13. By all accounts big Thommo has been playing alright this season alongside Chopra. I can't think of many other scottish strikers that are good enough for this level.
  14. Fantastic! I've been having withdrawal symptoms. I even joined the Blue Order forum to get my daily fix of Gers gossip but it's not a patch on this board. Found out from GersFem that we're back online.
  15. I know what you mean. It reminds me of the Partick Thistle/John Lambie connection. For almost 14 years the majority of Jags fans couldn't see anyone else as manager, others tried and failed and then Lambie would come back and build them up again. Perhaps it's just meant to be.
  16. Especially when you see the names the scum are being linked with. Polish, Cameroon and Ukaranian internationals. It makes me sick.
  17. Ahh the joys....all these exciting rumours, Bamba, Jones, Foster, Anderson. Please excuse my sarcasm but I remember the days when we were getting excited about bringing the cream of Scottish and European football, now it appears that not only can we not afford the Euro cream but we can't even afford the Scottish cream. How many caps have these guys mentioned got between them.........?

You heard it here first. If we do sign these players we can wave bye bye to champions league football for another season. In fact not only bye bye CL but hello 1st division. (perhaps I'm over-reacting, but you know what I mean) Have you seen how many goals Dunfermline have conceded this season? And Bamba is supposed to be their best player.
  19. I had exactly the same feelings back in May last year and now look where we are. Even though I have my doubts over the new appointment I will support the new manager and I am a lifelong Gers fan so no manager or chairman will ever change that. But since everything that has happened i am finding it very difficult to get excited by todays news. I want to be proved wrong, but now in my eyes 'the glass is half empty' and only time an results will change that.
  20. Once the dust has settled PLG will only be remembered for his results and agreed they were shit. But we will never know how good things could have been if he'd had a united dressing room, a captain that supported and respected his decisions. And players that were open minded enough to give his new ideas a chance. We don't know how much this in fighting affected the other players and general morale/confidence within the squad.
  21. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=440641&CPID=14&clid=67&lid=2&title=Smith+ Almost confirmed
  22. I can't see the point of brigning in any loan players at this stage of the season. I believe the current squad a more than capable of securing 2nd place and apart from the UEFA cup we should really be looking to hit the ground running next season. I've been a fan of Naismith for a while now plus there are some good players from the Scotland u19 euro championship squad such as Goodwille and the boy Elliot from Hearts. Also Broadfoot from St Mirren could be one for the future. These are mainly players for the future and ones we could but relatively cheaply. Until we know what sort of a budget the new manager will have it will be difficult to think of any big name signings.
  23. Yeah the more i read the more I can see we are rotten from the core. What chance did PLG have with all this going on in the background. Although I'm not particulary keen on the appointment of WS, I am confident that he will rid the club of this bile and we can start to build from the ground up.
  24. I noticed that Steven Maclean and Moses Ashikodi scored in the weekends FA cup ties. I know it's been a few years since Maclean left Rangers but going on his goal scoring records I am extremely frustrated we let him go without giving him a decent chance at first team level. Ashikodi scored on his debut with Watford in the FA cup and is expected to make his premiership debut this weekend. Now considering the current form of our strike force, why on earth was this promising youngster allowed to leave without ever having the chance to prove himself in the first team. It's not as if he had much competition and I'm pretty confident that none of the current first team strikers would get a game with a premiership club. This along with all the other bad news of late this depresses me further. How many others will we waste time, effort and money on developing and then release without giving them a chance. What is the point of our state of the art youth development centre if they are only ever going to play u19 or reserve level.
  25. If Murray really his holding our for a buyer and wants to rid himself of the club then he really has fucked up big style over the last few weeks. How much do you think the club will have devalued since the latest scandal?? Plus he will have to make extra money available for Wattie.
