  1. It shows our strength that we have such high value players as squad players
  2. The pendulum has swung. Get it in your diary- 22 May 2024 Europa final, Dublin
  3. Sometimes it's difficult to keep track on here. Before the PSV home games, many were saying we're going to take a pasting. We didn't and suddenly we were going to go to Eindhoven to qualify, come third in our group, drop to the Europa and go on to win it. Following a pasting in Eindhoven, all our players (apart from Butland) are rubbish, the manger hasn't a clue and we're on a road to nowhere. I don't know if our reaction to poor performances is over the top or whether our belief after a good result is misplaced. For my part, I enjoyed the PSV home game and thought PSV were the better team but our second half performance showed some promise. I was prepared for PSV winning in Eindhoven but we got thrashed and I did not expect that. It seems to me we have a team to do well in the SPFL. They have space and possession and sometimes they can shine. Go into Europe and we see the reality. Maybe it lies with the manager, I don't know, but I am not looking forward to our European matches, regardless of who we get. I say that now, but come 21st September, no doubt I'll be raring to go. Let's hope so.
  4. I see the press are reporting that Hibs want Lennon and have sounded him out. If true, are Hibs crazy?
  5. Good luck to Hagi. I hope he gets lots of game time and shows the Rangers management what he is capable of. I also hope that Hagi wants to come back.
  6. Seating them in the Club Deck is not practical. How would you segregate them coming into the ground. Also (as a Club Deck season ticket holder), I don't fancy having them behind me. In European games, there is a section within the Club Deck where they sit some away fans (I think it is those connected with the team, not the vocal fans). This works but we are talking civilised dignitaries not loons.
  7. He's seen fire and he's seen rain, so nothing should faze him at Ibrox.
  8. I thought Cifuentes was a bit at sea in the first half. It was as if he was stunned. Second half he was a lot better - chasing down people and being a bit more physical.
  9. Don't worry, I've seen them. Cards have been marked.
  10. Cantwell is entertaining to watch. He chases around a lot. He winds up the opposition (both on field and off). He likes his flicks and tricks. But he ain't no Hagi.
  11. It should be mandatory that if one posts sarcastically, it must be accompanied by a sarcasm emoji.
  12. They were obviously told of the posts on here calling for them to be subbed. Gersnet can take credit for the motivation.
  13. Let's not beat ourselves up. Plenty of time to go. Subs will be interesting. Keep the faith.
  14. Just think. When AI really takes off, we won't need to play any games. AI will tell us the score without a ball being kicked, though managers may still have to submit team sheets (with certified proof of fitness)
  15. We used to sing the Pope's a ***** hippy
  16. I feel the opprobrium of the faithful. But don't worry my prediction comes with a frown.☹️
