The Pre-Summer-2017 transfer rumours and hearsay all inclusive Thread

More on Campbell...played 1700 minutes (out of a possible 10,260) over past 3 seasons, 5 goals 6 yellows. He also grabbed himself 1 assist.

Recent record littered by hamstring injuries. Not a good sign.

Not a fan of FC but on a free transfer and not to high a wage he is a good replacement for Miller. Will run into the corners all day and night offering a good out ball. His pace is perfectly suited to the phase change stuff PC plays. Major concern is him adding to our ability to not finish in a month of Sunday's.

After looking at the euro squad it's dreadful, we need options and he provides something we don't have a lot of, pace.

O'Halloran has pace to burn but it has not made him a success.

From the Rangers Observer on Facebook .......

Given the amount of misinformation flying around regarding Rangers' pursuit of several targets, we thought it might be useful to update people on where things stand.

Despite reports to the contrary there has been no further progress with bids for either Jamie Walker or Graham Dorrans. These are fluid situations but fees have not been agreed and neither deal is imminent. That could change quickly if the clubs involved decide to be more realistic but our information is that Rangers will not be held to ransom despite the players being extremely keen to join.

Also (and this will shock regular readers to the core) reports in the Daily Record that Rangers have bid £300k for Kenny McLean are, wait for it, not true. There is interest in the player but any deal will depend on whether Aberdeen are willing to be realistic. And the player is likely to have options down south if they are not.

Finally, reports linking Rangers with a move for Frazier Campbell have absolutely no foundation at all. File this under false internet rumour, although Joe Miller might have information we don't.
