Cifu looked very tasty, had 2 interceptions he had no right to get.

Unless we get better in the final third we will continue to struggle. Forwards need to make runs into the box ahead of the delivery from wide areas not stand expect the ball to drop at their feet in front of goal. 
Can’t help feeling we’d have been better getting a naturally wide player instead of Sima. Disappointing again when he came on tonight.

I’ve no idea how Sima fits in. Seems like we just signed him because Beale knew of him, and he was highly rated a few years ago. Why was he seen as a good fit for our system?

Think there was a lot of positives from tonight's performance. We should have won by a few more goals. 

 

Not taking anything for granted but think we'll have enough to win the return leg.

I struggle to understand what Sima's role in the team is meant to be. Is he cover for Dessers and Danilo? If so, Roofe is a far better option. If he's not able to give us width then surely he needs to be played a little deeper. Whatever the current plan is, we need a new one.

Dressers Lammers and Sima aren’t any better than the lad we let go Sakala. Who I think would have had a field day last night and what was the point of introducing Hagi at such a late stage .

It’s never a good sign when even YouTube doesn’t make it look like they have good technique. I’m hoping he can do a Sakala and come up with goals despite his limitations but the early signs haven’t been there.
