What a player we've found in John Souttar.

Have to say I enjoy Sakala scoring so many when he gets so much stick. A strange player, but he creates chances that most of our forwards don’t.

The challenge on our keeper was a red card IMO, very dangerous, but it was against Rangers so it's ok!

I've had mixed feelings about this but on balance I have to agree with you. I think we're still one or two seasons away from being anything like prepared for the Champions League. Our Euro experiences this season were horrendous for everyone concerned with the club. Having said that, my ideal European campaign would be qualifying for the CL group stage, finishing 3rd and then dropping into the Europa League and winning it 😉

Oh well it’s over. Was a domestic disaster but only finished 7 behind for all the bad performances and points dropped under Gio. Things looking brighter for next season.

It's incredulous to think that if we score 3 or more goals today we surpass our goal tally from title win 55 and even surpass Ange Ball's wonder team from last season. In a season littered with misses chances and lack of cutting edge, that is hard to fathom.

CL first always for me. We got pumped this/last season but we're learning on that stage. There's no more prestige than being a regular in the UCL, look at how 4th has become a trophy down south. Plus with the revamp reaching the last 16 looks a bit more doable after next season. We're Rangers, original members of the first iteration of the UCL, people forget that but WE shouldn't.

Unless it’s Rangers holding the monopoly.

Agree with the lads above, there's a serious question to be had as to who starts in that right hand side berth. Captain material. Thought Ridvan and Fashion were the other standouts. Those St Mirren fans are absolutely miserable haha.

Lundstram have played as a centre-back before! 6 times in his 437 professional games. I would hazard a guess that this is essentially a test for next season and that 3-at-the-back option, so testing him in that auxiliary CB role. Not ideal, IMHO, but we shall see. Good to see Colak back.

Begs the question, how much more can we realistically score? Because it does seem like we miss sitters game in game out. Or maybe we're not seeing the wood for the trees with this team, might be that we just need to get back to the 55 'you shall not pass' attitude in defence and in goal. Don't think we're miles away from a title to be honest.

Quite simply this. Whoever from us or them has a better 10 year coefficient gets a bigger cut of the CL money / Euro League money. Our objective in Europe is the same as our domestic objective. Be better than them.
