Mary(Tiny) was a true Ranger. Her family, particularly on the maternal side had an almost unbroken century of service to the club. I believe her Grandmother was appointed by Bill Struth in late 1929, as a cleaner for the opening of the then newly constructed Main Stand?

I just feel anyone who thinks FF is the answer probably isn't ready for a voice of their own. Gersnet is blessed with people of such higher stature that there really isn't any meaningful decision to make. ..... apart from the bleeding heart lefties, weirdo Russian sympathisers and lunatics with music references that defy understanding. Apart from them, Gersnet is essentially perfect. 😁

Included in the article is an Analysis piece by Chris McLaughlin. Megan's third line is convenient lie, claiming the Green Brigade have been banned from away games because of continuing flying of Palestinian flags. No, the GB caused mayhem at Fir Park by utilising forged tickets and opening safety doors to allow other like thinking non-ticket toting balaclava'd Bhoys into the away stand. This caused a running battle with Plod and Police Scotland articulated safety concerns to ra Sellik. The club had to be seen to be taking action. Next Megan ran interference, other Scottish clubs had been fined by UEFA and she mentions both Rangers and Hearts. Peter approves of spreading blame in Sellik specific incidents. Chris makes a comfortable analysis, mentions club open to all, founded to feed the poor and, increasing sponsors' concerns. You can hear Peter spouting the same pysh. The real mirth is to be found in the last line of the report, "Celtic have been approached for comment"? Of course, PQ have ignored the 'Pig Watch' banners displayed on the North Curve concourse. The Green Brigade photograph Police officers, then post the pictures on their website asking if any members can identify and provide further information? I suspect Peter is still thinking about that one. I am sure PQ will flag it up when Peter tells them to do so.

Yep, I remember Tiny telling us the story on the tour. We did the tour, my younger brother is mentally handicapped - and Tiny went above and beyond and way out of her way for him to have a special experience. When we talk about club legends, people like Tiny should be in that conversation - these people who give their lives to the club (and Tiny was definitely one of them - you could tell that the club meant everything to her) are part of the very fabric that the club was built around. Such a terrible loss. Rest easy sweet Tiny

I don't want to divert the thread but I'd also like to pay tribute to a Rangers supporting friend of mine who passed away in his mid 30s last week. Fraser, aka @karma_polis on twitter and several names on FF (see the Campbeltown Bear thread on there) was well known in the Rangers community. Davie Edgar paid a nice tribute to him on the H&H Daily Update yesterday. I used to meet up with him for lunch in Shawlands before games at Hampden. He was a good guy and I always enjoyed his company and his larger than life personality. Sleep easy, Fraser. You'll be missed!

Thought Arsenal were good value for their win @compo, had it on in the background and they controlled it for the most part. Sevilla have been a bogey side for a few english teams over recent years so that's a more than decent result - tough atmosphere and even tougher amenities for fans (good bog water though!). Hopefully the Arsenal fans had an amicable time over there.

I really can't predict this one. So many unknowns. I think we will be well organised but it depends how our experienced players perform. I also have no idea about Sparta Prague's quality. We have a pretty good record recently in European matches but I can't see who is going to replace Kent and Morelos' influence in that. I tend to think a draw would be a very good result for us in the circumstances.

Agree with most others in that I'd take a draw rn if offered. If we put in a good performance then I think we'd all be happy though, making small strides.

Ah, that is a relief. Of course, I remember the Nursery Rhyme where the animals entered the Ark two by two, the elephants and the kangaroo. The exclusion of the Pygmies was always a concern. It is good that God had compassion for diminutive warriors, as the Green Brigade often sing, 'Soldiers are wee'.
