Until we lose this embedded myth that all players at other Scottish clubs must by definition be inferior, while spending big of the likes of Dessers and Lammers, we will never progress as we should.

No sleep lost on players not coming or being signed. Bologna paid Aberdeen Euro 2m for Ferguson, but make that 4m if we had tried to sign him. He's away, so that's that.

For the goal, Clancy saw an imaginary foul in the build up and blew instead of letting the move materialise we were 4 v 3. Red card was via VAR and looks very harsh.

We could do with a few more Scots in the squad. I don't really watch any Scottish matches outwith ones involving Rangers, so don't know enough about opposition players to have a valid opinion on whether they'd improve us. Miovski's finish at Pittodrie was very impressive (obviously he's not Scottish though). Shankland would be better than Dessers or Lammers but I still think we can get a better striker, for less outlay, elsewhere.

I don't watch other Scottish teams other than when we play them. As other have said if we went for Miovski Shankland Ferguson (when we could have) then the clubs - Sheep and Hearts - would want double or treble from us compared to what they actually sold them for. The whole transfer window bores me to tears and it is not even fucking open yet!

The Summer was a disaster, all thanks to Mick Beale. Clement has his work cut out to fix it. We need better forwards and midfielders and people who don't constantly get injured and we need them pronto (the defence can wait until Summer).

I don't think so, re Cantwell; I think that's why he took off Cantwell at half-time, because of the red card. I also think Tamundo is better at the end of games when there's more space and the opponent is knackered.

Has the Dujon finally arrived? He must have hated the final whistle because he just got better and better the longer he was on the pitch. I honestly had no idea he could slot into midfield but he didn't look out of place at all. The red card might have handed him a cup final place.

Clancy is a cheat - pure and simple

Souttar, Tavernier and Barisic all very hesitant in defence. Luckily our captain has an alternative role in this team. There's little the bench can do to fill the gap left by Cifu. Jack Butland really is a first class keeper.

We've all seen worse fouls not given, doesn't make it not a red. Straight leg, no need to go there, studs on, there really is no argument to be had. It was stupid.

Kirkland at the screen called it a possible serious foul play. Heck, Maeda wrecked Cantwell and it wasn't even a foul, never mind a penalty. But truth be told, going by the circus that is called Scottish refereeing, you have to be content that not more is being fiddled in the games ...

Missed out on Lewis Ferguson 🤣 3 goals & 2 assists in 14 games, aye he's killing it. He is outwith the top ten players for both goals & assists in Serie A. He would have no impact on our squad imo. There are no players in the other spl teams who would boost our current team imo.
