This thread is more suited for DOOMNET than Gersnet. Win, loose or draw we are the people and we should be 100% behind our team when they are going to sharkheid to play for us. C'mon The Rangers4 points

While agreeing with most of the foregoing IMO our injury situation has totally hindered this season. A bit of food for thought re us and them pissibly finishing with less points than last has nobody given thought that some of the other teams have been improving to a degree and taken points off us and them.3 points

His team had the lead in the second leg at home against ten men. His team blew it. He had one exceptional season when celtic were utter dross managed by Lennon.3 points

Where did I say he was such a good manager? He inherited an absolute shitshow, got us winning in Europe and got us beating Celtic regularly. He then won the league without losing a game. Maybe if the board had backed him after 55 we might have defeated Malmo, but we'll never know. When Gerrard left we were top of the league. As for selling off players (or not) how's that Gerrards fault? Yes he should have won more trophies, but I'd say he's the best manager we've had since returning to the top flight.3 points

Sorry, its not down to bottle, it's down to ability. They have more players who have it.3 points

We do not have the adequate mentality to over come this fixture. The core of our team is psychologically feeble when pitched against this mob. Sick and tired of the liabilities costing us the game and the stupid amount of respect shown to that lot. Lundstrum should just get showered and fuck off home. Utter stupidity from someone who should know better. When players his age start throwing themselves about like that, its a sign they're finished.3 points

I still think we will be sitting in two weeks moaning about the same darn things. It feels like groundhog day2 points

I think much of that comes down to management style. SG knew how to put a good solid team together which was hard to break down, however he struggled to break down the 'park the bus'. Look at his record v some of the diddy teams (Killie a good example) compared to Clement. Who has his team play a more expansive, direct open style. I think Clement needs to learn to be a bit more pragmatic.2 points

This. Sterling should have started in the middle today and we should have pushed Dio up and onto Macgregor. He gets MOTM all the bloody time because we allow him the freedom to do so. Lawrence does not have the legs to press.2 points

I'd take Barron, then loan him back to Aberdeen for two years. The others... Nah.2 points

That's it in a nutshell. So far behind them in all departments on and off the field.2 points

I can’t understand his reluctance to play Raskin. He’s a battler which you need in an OF fixture2 points

Stats XGs go for nothing when we field a bunch of second raters who have no heart and a manager who looks incapable of changing our fortunes I dont think we have a lot of money in the cash tin so the future is looking rather grim2 points

Still can’t quite get over that performance by Lundstram, lost his man for the opener, an og and a red within 30 odd mins. Not sure sh*t the bed quite covers it.2 points

I'm struggling to see how you can be pessimistic about Clement yet you wanted to stick with Beale. C o n t r a r i a n.2 points

To be fair the manager needs to adapt and play with what you have. He cant play a wide attacking team with no wingers, he cann ignore midfield where we all have seen and heard and mentioned ourselves Celtc have been stronger than us in recent games. Which he seems to have done. The midfield has always been a big concern for us in these games. Sterling should have played with Diomande in there, Lawrence is done and should be a bench option only. He really needs to think outside the box for the cup final as sticking with the likes of Lundstram is a recipe for disaster. Lundstrams Rangers career is littered with men running off him. Also big questions over the Silva signing, looked good at times but ultimately he s a bit too Cantwell/ Kent. Tidy footballer with no real end product. For all Hagi and Sakala looked like Bambi on ice at times they put up numbers. We needed a killer #9. Manager needs to think a bit more tactically for the SCF. Cant just throw players into the system that hasn't worked v them for 3 times now.2 points

No surprises in that game as we once again sit too deep, fail to track runners, leave too much space and concede incredibly cheap goals and red cards. Done and dusted for another league season with some positives but not enough and a huge job for the manager in the summer. The Cup Final is a chance to lay down a marker for next season but losing the title and the CL pot a big blow in terms of our future aspirations. Injuries a key factor in our campaign and the club really must get to the root of that. New players and coaches required for Clement. For his part the manager will come under merited scrutiny for some of his recent selections. However, his hands were tied too often with few options; especially in wide areas. On the other hand, our standard of play and repeated weaknesses is something he's struggled to address. I've no idea what will happen in the summer and I'm not sure to what scale we can make changes. However, we must find improvement and create a proper spine to the side as we're too weak, too often both physically and mentally. For our part, we can only keep follow following.2 points

L That's the line up Rodgers would be expecting. I'd have Sterling in the middle and move Diaminde into the 10 role with McCausland wide right. I would also start Ridvan. If he's fit enough for the bench he's fit enough. Always start with strongest XI IMO.2 points

Inspiring. We’re going to win five nothing. Cement them, Rangers.2 points

Even if that's the case, we both play Dundee at home and my money would be on the Tims to run up a higher score than us in those games. If we win today, the big game for me is them going to Rugby Park. A draw there (not unlikely) would open the door for a potential points win in the title race.2 points

We were in a far worse state when SG took over. Walter Smith, two season apart, had a very poor record in Europe. Just like successive Celtic managers over the last 2 decades. This night not be a view shared by others, but personally I'd rather have 2 decades of domestic domination over a decent European record.1 point

He had spent about 10 million 3 years in a row, if that's not enough to beat Malmo then games a bogey.1 point

At the end of the day it’s another OF defeat & 3 out of 4 this season in the league is totally unacceptable. We must hope for better recruitment in the summer although it’s looking like CB’s will take up a big chunk of the budget.1 point

Zero legs in midfield for me. I presume Lawrence is in to shoot on sight? Forsee lots of changes at half time with that line up. I wanted Clement to be brave with our midfield but he's gone for... I'm not sure what he's gone for tbh. Oh well1 point

Tomorrow games a bit like backing a horse with your last hundred pounds never let the odds put you off the bookies probably don't give us a hope in hell but I've backed many a big odds winner and tomorrow I'll be having a good few bob on my team Mon the Gers.1 point
