Not all season ticket holders want to go to all the matches which is disgraceful. They should pledge to attend every match, only a medical certificate will excuse. Business, holidays, mother’s day, nativity play, school sports - forget it. Close family funeral - maybe but just the once. Perhaps holders could nominate a substitute to turn up when the holders themselves have lost hope or simply can’t be bothered. All holders who post on this Board are exempt from this criticism but a couple of wobblers should watch their step.6 points

Graeme and Douglas Park could ref the game and I'd doubt it would make any difference 🤔 😀4 points

Good team but think he will put Bajrami in the 10 to negate McGregor. That worked well in the cup final. McGregor was anonymous.4 points

Clement is here for the long term, we must know that, accepting it is a different matter. This team is still a project, unless Stewart has other ideas?! In terms of money generation from football performance, you could argue Clement is ahead of schedule, mainly down to the success, thus far, in the Europa league. The risk of changing manager is obvious. Not only could we continue to lag well behind the beasts domestically, but we could also find ourselves struggling to do well in Europe. I don't think that is a risk worth taking given our financial situation. The vision for the Rangers hierarchy is to become financially sustainable - primarily through player trading - and I would assume they feel that we don't necessarily need to win the league to achieve that, but that it will come when we are able to properly generate income and thus properly invest behind the squad. Short term, unfortunately, we have to suffer the journey. The days of changing manager to chase short term success are over. Lose on Thursday, and ordinarily we would have Clement chased out the door. Supporters may try to protest, but any attempts will be futile. Season ticket money is a guarantee with the waiting list what it is. Merchandise will continue to be sold, and night will follow day. However, long suffering fans will continue to hope (for the first couple of months of each season) and next season is another opportunity. For now, we have all to play for in Europe, and I'm trying to keep the dying embers of my passion glowing as long as possible.4 points

That 4-4-2 pressing was pretty good against Spurs. I'd go: Kelly Tavernier - Sterling - Balogun - Jefte Cerny - Raskin - Diomande - Bajrami Danilo - Igamane3 points

Ban whoever voted for Ridvan. Not that it ruined a 100% but the fact they voted for Ridvan 😀3 points

I would pick a team as close to the Spurs team as possible. Kelly for Butland. Hopefully big Leon is fit? Ridvan in an advanced role on the left. ---------Kelly-------- --Sterling--Balogun-- Tav‐------------Jefte ----Raskin---Dio---- Cerny---------Ridvan --------Berjami-------- -------Igamane------2 points

Don Robertson - chopped off perfectly good Roofe goal at ibrox in first OF game last season. Called over to VAR for alleged foul by Dessers who dispossessed lagerbeilke. Never a foul in a million years Nick Walsh - chopped off Sima goal in SCF after Hart missed corner. Claimed he was pushed 😂. Beaton on var got Walsh to look at it & he was only too delighted to help out his beloved hoops David Roome - the AR( linesman) who missed 3 ( yes 3) offside Celtic players at their winning goal in the 2019 LCF. For the record Collum was match referee Daniel McFarlane - up and coming young known yahoo protege from the Collum stable….one for he watching2 points

Referee - Don Robertson Assistants - David Roome und Ross Macleod Video Assistant Referee - Nick Walsh Assistant Video Assistant Referee - Daniel McFarlane ... there is little choice these days anyway. Either incompetent, biased, or both.2 points

I don’t think there is too much emphasis on CB’s. Get those positions wrong & you’re in deep dodo against any quality opposition.2 points

I get that but I think there's too much emphasis on the CBs. Our shape doesn't help IMO. If we are playing a higher tempo with a more fluid front 4, we are essentially defending from the front. This was demonstrated in the Killie, Spurs and Celtic games. Even Propper looked more secure. After a year (plus), I don't understand how PC cannot see that we need to swarm these teams from the first whistle and put the game to bed early. That will allow for his planned rotations and will help with injuries/strains. The fact that we play so many games right up until the last minute must have an impact on the players bodies. Big Ange worked this league out early. I just wish PC could have done the same.2 points

And if you read that carefully it’s from Rangers Rumours ( RR) website. Notoriously unreliable1 point

The real Tillers were pretty good at high kicks. Probably get sent off for dangerous play.1 point

Rightio ... the list of targets mentioned is still rather short. Today, some whispers about Josh Brownhill, a 29-year old DM (yes!!!) who is in his last 6 months at Burnley. Trabzonspor apparently want Ridvan, then there is Darius Olariu, the attacking mdifielder for 4m, and that South African Iqraam Rayners. There is more hope than gut feeling that we might sign people well under the radar of press and ITK social media hacks, though.1 point

Just my view on things. Butland shaky at times but having only seen Kelly v Dundee with nil to do can't compare, Tavernier posted missing too often time for Sterling' Sterling not a CB (see Tav) Propper !!!!! nuff said. Ridvan probably best player in 1st half BUT? Dowel WHO? Diamonde not a diamond but might come good. Raskin our MVP price wise at moment. Danillo/Cortes as Diamonde Dessers if his finishing equalled his work rate would be ok. Subs changed game but won't analyse them.1 point

Kelly should be in goal. Butland is performing in the same way as he did with other clubs. Very good then falling away. (He was frequently and deservedly motm on this Board last season) Anyway, his brain will currently be addled with new dad nonsense.1 point

Goalkeeper and the four in front of him just not good enough midfield no creativity no ball winner up front toothless so called strikers don't score enough scared to put themselves about a bit in other words a bunch of pussies1 point

Agree with most of that. Butland v Kelly - said before I believe Kelly was signed as a Butland replacement, we just didn't receive the bids we were expecting. Sterling - never fit enough to get a sustained run in the team so can't be relied on to be even a short term replacement for Tav. Tav - been a good servent but his time is up. However, currently nobody better than him to play RB. Ridvan - injury prone, ineffective and another huge waste of money. Propper - the Dutch Ben Davies.1 point

Possibly but if we are aware that we have weaknesses there we should mitigate that by removing them from the scrutiny of SPL physical duels. One way of doing that would be to press the opposition higher up the pitch with your best starting eleven (not Dowell, Dessers etc). The reason we struggle is that we settle into a slow tempo that allows too many SPL teams to reset. That in turn allows them to build their way into the game and bring us into a slog fest. If we can play with a higher tempo at the start of the 2nd half (usually based on a shit 1st half) we can do it right from the outset.1 point

No I agree, There is more too it that a measuring stick but my point is I don't see many wee or skinny wimps who can pass, press etc playing CB at the top.1 point

If Butland showed the strength of a man of his size, Miller gets the red he deserved and the handball decision goes the right way it is a different game. That is not to say we were not pish.1 point

All the talk in the MSM post game is the Motherwell disallowed goal. Nothing about the Lennon Miller challenge that should have been a red.1 point

He also knew to go out and get some big strong centre backs than won their battles. Carter Vickers is massive and no one in the SPFL is pushing him off the ball. They went though a few other guys who were not as good but ultimately worked out, all big strong guys. Starfelt wasn't great but he could win headers. Gerrard knew it with Goldson and Katic, Smith knew it with Wier and Ugo. McLeish knew it with Boumsong, Andrews and Kyriakos. The clues are all there, if PC and Koppen cant figure it out then they are beyond help. 100%, we rely on our CB's being man for man and winning duels too much for a team with wet paper bags at CB.1 point

We look at the results in Europe as if they mean anything, they don’t. As long as we get to a group stage competition we should be focused on domestic matters, anything in Europe should be a bonus. Unfortunately we seem to look at Europe as our priority and where we are as a club is the result.1 point

When will fans realise the season ticket waiting list is a fable? When was the last time we had a sell-out at Ibrox domestically? We couldn't sell out our league cup semi-final allocation either. This wouldn't happen if there were 10,000 people waiting for an opportunity to watch Rangers. The waiting list is used by the board to force season ticket holders to renew. If we finish the season 20+ points behind Celtic, and Clement is still at the helm, I think we'll see a drop off in attendances (which we are already witnessing). I don't think I'll be renewing, I'll just pick and chose which games I want to attend and pick up tickets accordingly.1 point

What I mean is we should be using this time to bring down the wage bill drastically, accept that this is going to be a shit period, keep clement in place whilst this is happening, then when the wage bill is under control let someone else rebuild the squad.1 point

See Tottenham game for that. Great movement and passing ,great shape ,won pretty much every loose ball, ..and competed. Didn't play quite as well , but should've won the cup final too , though VAR put paid to that one. Thursdays game is a complete dead rubber, so i've no doubt we'll win it .1 point

Until the CB situation is resolved everything else is irrelevant. How did we get into this mess again ( like GvB did) missing our main CB’s ? The ones we’ve got are injury prone & the back-ups not good enough.1 point

I do agree and do not get me wrong I am not a Propper fan but it was a handball. Clear as day. Propper makes Karl Svensson look like Baresi1 point

Regardless of it being Propper or not it was as clear a handball as you will ever see. Annoys me even more that some of our so called fans can't see that. its a HANDBALL1 point

Do we have the finances for this? clear out the team and presumably build a new team as well as sack Clement & get anew manager?1 point
