Going by these radars, Veerman closely resembles Aribo. I can see him playing in one of the wider roles - I'm not sure we'd play him deeper, because we need control from deep, from Davis' positioning and short passing. Veerman's pass success rate is poor, but that's because he's attempting a lot of 'killer passes'. Which is a good thing. After many years (18 I think) of sticking by firstly the RST (was at initial meeting and signed up right away) then it’s successor bodies I have had enough of them and cancelled my 2 monthly dds. We never seem to stop suffering from infighting, cronyism, self-interest, and while many of those who have worked tirelessly and given up huge chunks of their time are unfairly chastised, I feel we are never going to learn. I have signed up to the share issue for the minimum and am happier giving the club my cash directly rather than through the fans vehicle. Really saddened by this thread, especially the letter from the Rev. It seems we will never learn.

Without going into too much detail, I was told earlier in the week we were back in for Veerman but didn’t post anything, @Empire will confirm this. Now I’m not saying it’s 100% happening however the people that tell me are generally quite well placed to know and one of them said today, and I quote, “veerman was gerrards number one target for the summer and he is now very confident of getting him”. Again, @Empire knows where I get my things from and im not for a minute saying it’s definitely happening, just passing things on

I've seen it discussed that Veerman has lots of positive attributes but his positioning defensively can be poor which is why some English teams (Soton in particular) haven't made more of their interest over the last couple of years. It's fairly obvious but we wouldn't be signing any finished articles from places like Holland. We buy the rough diamond, polish it up and move it on. That's the model and it won't work every time but opportunities are there with the correct scouting and at the correct value. Gio was a great example of this but even he was ahead of Veerman in terms of overall quality and it was interesting that although he was successful for us in central midfield, it wasn't until he moved to left back he had more success at club and international level. At around £5m + adds ons, I think Veerman would be a good signing and it wouldn't surprise me to see him arrive over the coming weeks. I believe we're also interested in a central defender from Vitesse (Danilho Doekhi) who fits the same model but unless we're moving on either Goldson or Helander (not unlikely depending on our CL involvement) then he'll be less of a priority.

As much as I love Glen Kamaradona, we really should be cashing in on him. His value is high. Although he's a superb player--and was vital to last season's success--his role is not irreplaceable. I'd be expecting £15M, plus, surely? (It's funny: I get the impression that, before his injury, most fans preferred Jack to Kamara.)

Motherwell playing in league cup and asked for 4000 (think that's how many STs they have), got permission for 2000 As for the others??? F, agree with your post , however as far as I view the collectives model, it is not possible for anyone to aquire shares through C1872. As I'm sure you are well aware individuals can contribute to a pot but they can never own any equity, and that for me was the flaw that doomed this enterprise from the outset.
