  1. What a tinpot league the SPL is, honestly. The state of that pitch is borderline funny. Clement probably can't believe the pitches he's seen up here.

  2. I will actually be quietly pleased if this is cancelled as it will give us more time to get players back fit and also if this goes ahead today the pitch looks likely to be a leveller making it more difficult to play our normal game. id imagine the game would be slotted in for April 10 in between the OF and Ross County.

  3. Saw that and said to my son that he had either given up or was overwhelmed by the ocassion.A big difference from his previous experiences no doubt.

  4. I would have given the award to Neil Warnock. Thirty-three days of pure joy, facilitating the journey for the Dandies to arrive in the Championship. Neil should be able to sit down, feet up in the Dunoon Rangers supporters club with the award sitting proudly on the bar.

  5. The OT pitch was like Wembley in May.

  6. Turned out an excellent game at Old Trafford

  7. The rain has been scudding down at Manchester these past few days yet the pitch is tip top you have to admire these groundsmen it’s come a long way since Davie Marshall and his bits of paper tied to string lines to stop the birds eating the seed.

  8. United sensational for fifteen minutes, 1-0, Liverpool dreadful for forty then it all changed. 2-1 to the scousers at HT.

  10. The local referee (Fordyce, I think) clearly shitebagged it and left the decision to Robertson, who really should have been there before 10.15am.

  11. What a silly question. The pitches meet the required standards (as unpalatable as that may be), so refusing to play on them would just be forfeiting the matches.

  12. Throttler back a pinch there John Nash. It's just postponed, not cancelled.

  13. It has been raining heavily for the past few days but they should be better prepared and the decision making needs to happen sooner. Fourth, if you count cup games.

  15. I was just told that this game will be shoe horned in between the upcoming Hibs and Celtic games 🙄 imo septic have now got an advantage, sitting top with one less game to play than us because of rain, in a country where it constantly rains 🙄

  16. Shame for the fans who were on there way. Again the question of late call offs is raised and the poor treatment of fans. That aside, I think the pros outweigh the cons. We've 2 weeks until our next game to get some players back and for manager to work with team in training. The way things are poised, game against Celtic give us the chance to go back on top, with game in hand.

  17. Agreed. If the Masons can't get this called off, I will begin to doubt their efficacy.

  18. At one point during the game Diamonde was the only Rangers player in the midfield surrounded by 2 banks of 4 Benfica players ahead and behind him and he looked, quite rightly, terrified and of course lost the ball. He was isolated as the only man standing on a number of occasions last night and I certainly wouldn't blame him for struggling at times.

  19. One of the most surprising except maybe Southampton, Wimbledon, Sunderland and Birmingham City. So not all that surprising really.

  20. The Coventry against Spurs must have been one of the best finals ever back in the 80s

  21. If Ridvan had dropped 2 acid and wore a dress for the match, I'd still have him playing before Barisic.

  22. Unless Yilmaz is injured or suspended, I wouldn't have Barasic anywhere near my starting XI for the rest of the season. He just doesn't have the stomach for the fight IMO.

  23. I agree. I would keep Wright but not Matondo for his injury record and the money he is on.

  25. I couldn't fault the players last night. Everyone gave everything and we can't ask for more. We were beaten by a better team. Had our injury situation been different I think we may have won it. I kept hoping right until the final whistle. The manager and players deserve enormous credit. Some were dead on their feet but the manager was constrained in what he could do because of a lack of fit players.
