Ridiculous statement.
-
I love 3-4-1-2. Two wingers, two football playing centre mids, a number 10 and 2 strikers. Let the defenders defend and the rest attack!
-
I know what you are saying mate and i do agree in principle.
-
Celtic got to Seville with 3 at the back. Hammered Liverpool and Stuttgart with it. Valgaeren, Balde and Mjallby. If done right it is one of the most exciting formations as it leaves so much room for attacking on both sides!
-
Only 2 or 3 maximum of those highlighted will ever be able to challenge for SPL titles.
-
Clyde had him down as a Rangers Twitter Troll? That is appalling muckraking.
-
This is true but i don't feel we need to make a profit from every player we sign though.
-
Proof, not that we needed it of course, that stats can be used to suit any agenda.
-
Not sure if this is the thread for it but i would take issue, strongly, with those 3 bold statements mate.
-
Could easily lose at least 10 players from that lot and not affect the first team. I have next to no interest in bringing anyone in until the players who are picking up a wedge and contributing nothing are off the wage bill.
-
There is no doubt we have the players, easily the second best bunch in the country already but then that is not my worry, personally. I just don't see McCoist being able to managerially compete with the Butchers, McInnes', McNamaras and dare i say it even the Yogis and Lurgan Bigots. There will be no outspending the Celtics, Aberdeens, Dundee Utds or Hibs 100 to 1.

Yes. He is a horrible bheast.

http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spfl-lower-divisions/rangers-to-hold-talks-with-cypriot-athos-solomou-1-3263212 RANGERS will hold transfer talks with Cyprus international Athos Solomou next week, when the player and his agent arrive in Glasgow. The APOEL Nicosia full-back, 28, is due to fly to Scotland to discuss a move to the League 1 leaders and is free to sign a pre-contract agreement, with his APOEL contract expiring in June. Rangers monitored Solomou, who has both Champions League and Europa League experience, throughout last year and most recently watched him in APOEL’s Europa League group match against Eintracht Frankfurt last month. Ibrox officials will now hold face-to-face discussions with the player and his agent next week. They must decide whether to pay a transfer fee and sign Solomou immediately or agree a pre-contract for a summer move. Both parties will also discuss wages and contract terms. Solomou is a versatile right-back who can also play on the right side of midfield and is a regular in the Cyprus international squad. He was involved in APOEL’s run to the Champions League quarter-finals in season 2011/12, where they were eliminated by Real Madrid. He has played all of his career in Cyprus with Apollon Limassol and APOEL, winning both the domestic league and cup. After 11 years in his homeland, he is keen to move abroad and Rangers are favourites to secure his signature. Not sure what to make of this to be honest.

Hibs could probably only afford 30% of his Rangers salary.
-
How much profit do they stand to make from us if we are a top flight club with chance of European football?

There's not a team like the Glasgow Rangers, no not one.

An outstanding talent who our club didn't know what to do with. Playing under a good football man now who will know exactly what to do with him. Best of luck to him. One key piece of that article is this "I’m now starting to show if I’m played in the right position by a manager who has faith in me I can do well." Exactly what i said above.

What makes you say that mate? Ally has McCulloch, Mohsni, Cribari, Perry, Hegarty and Faure all ahead of him. Luca is way down the pecking order. It's unrealistic to expect Luca to get a chance. Ally has signed too many people to play ahead of him, on much more money too. Let's not also forget, it's a Canada squad he has been picked for, not the USA, Brazil or Spain, Canada.

This will lead to nothing. These people are untouchable.

No mention of Celtic in that article despite Mr Convery being a fan. -

As i predicted, this little tim ned has got away with it and let off by his club too. An absolute disgrace. http://www.scotsman.com/news/scotland/top-stories/paul-mcgowan-escapes-jail-for-police-assault-1-3260390 Batter the police, get away with it. Send an email, get the sack. Batter the police again, get away it. Confront Neil Lennon, get the jail. What a country. -
Not nearly as much as us surely. We were averaging 4 a game at one point.

Not solely down to Magic as his time with Killie is proving but like you suggest more likely a culmination of factors, luck being a key one.
