Grrrr :box::box:

Since there's nothing else to do but speculate, can we read anything into this quote? If Ellis is offering a straight cash for equity deal; and Murray's entire holding (both MSL and MIH) were being bought, you would imagine this would be simple deal to make - or at least a deal which has less detail to iron out. However, should Murray be retaining an interest I can see why this would be altogether trickier.
-
The way I read Bdts was: should a manuscript arise from NARSA which documents that AJ, Bain or anyone else connected to the club, had been giving out confidential information relating to the deal (or the possibility of a deal), it would be denied because it would probably be in breach of some stock market rules.

Not that it was ever needed, but proof that you really can make it up: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/2010/06/04/exclusive-celtic-look-to-finland-boss-stuart-baxter-as-father-figure-to-neil-lennon-86908-22308102/

Stuart Baxter is in the frame I heard!

Yeah, Beasley played well for about 4/5 weeks and was injured or on the bench for most of the rest. No doubt Lafferty had a poor season but at least he was fit and available to play for most of it.

Anyone got time to set up a Gersnet World Cup predictor?

A bold statement OOA. I hope you are right!

That would be hilarious. Strongly rumoured now that Lennon is getting the job on a permanent basis.

We should get Harry Hill in to referee this cyber fight. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Np6gyUb0E7o&feature=related]YouTube- Harry Hill's TV Burp - The Fights[/ame]

I am greatly encouraged by the cricketing angle to this thread .... a new cricket thread is on the cards!
-
So, after the initial optimism that something concrete was afoot, we seem to be back to square one. Ho hum, at least the cricket season is now in full swing....
-
Yep, so I'll fold. No deal for me.

I should have been clearer - I didn't mean that you said his intentions were good.... What I meant was: I hope you are your sources are correct. And given that, I also hope also that Ellis's intentions are good.

When forced to put my home on the line I would err on the side of caution. Whilst my heart is tempted to go all-in pre-flop, the percentage game is to see the flop before betting too heavily.

Have you not been watching The Scheme?

I hope N_L is right and that Ellis's intentions are good. If it all comes to fruition, Smith might get funds to push for 3IAR and we can give him the retirement send off he deserves. Optimistic Loyal! :spl:

Was it Murray who said that, or Johnson? Either way, it seems to me that Muir is doing the spadework here, not Johnson. Apart from anything else, AJ seems to make requests for things to be done, writes some nice wee memos and the like, but is too far away and has too little real influence to be effective in said role.

That's my votes in too.

Welcome laudrupno1!

Yup! Also makes it harder for players coming back from injury to get some match practice.

I am reminded of Donald Rumsfeld's oft quoted unknown unknowns speech in this whole saga. Its the things we don't know we don't know, that worry me most. We can argue the toss over who owns what, and who said what to someone else, and whatever; but it doesn't answer any of our question satisfactorily.

Like I said, I have not ready every comment on the matter but I do get the sense it might not be as clear cut as is being suggested. Time will tell...
