Has now gone full circle and returned to Feynoord. He had a transfer free clause in his contract. I always think you should never go back but i would have liked to see Giovanni coming to us for a few years.

Taken from the official website so i would imagine we are serious about getting this guy.

Welcome mate. As long as your not a Chelsea fan then it's okay with me.We have bad experience with Chelsea fans on here, although there will be some good one's somewhere.
-
Especially if he does have a 1 mill price clause in his contract. that would mean they are getting next to Hee Haw for their best player.

Noothing un de Rongers webisita:)

How dare they not accept our offer. Rangers are making a one team protest against high prices.:uzi:

Had to laugh at that as pipe in Dutch means a gobble. (It is spelt different, though sounds the same. Pijp)

Roy Makaay wants to leave Bayern. He would do me for a few seasons playing next to Darchville.

One thing worries me though, we were saying the same last year when PLG came

Foppe de Haan the Dutch coach was also not happy and said on this occasion they should have carried a Dutch flag. It has boiled up so high here that a couple of right wing ministers brought it up in the Dutch parliament to try and get the players banned from the Dutch team. The motion failed.

Libor Sionko remains keen to quit Rangers after expressing his frustration at the silent treatment he has received from Walter Smith. Following Smith's return to Ibrox as manager, Sionko appeared just three times for Rangers and claims he has only spoken to the former Scotland coach once. Though he has 12 months remaining on his contract, the Czech winger feels he will have to leave the club due to his relationship with Smith. "This is true," Sionko told the Daily Record when asked if he had hardly spoken to Smith. "I've only spoken to him once in all of this time, when I returned from national team duty after a friendly in Belgium. "He told me he had watched the game on television and that has been my only communication with the coach in six months. "These last six months have been really difficult for me and if this continues I'd prefer to change clubs. "If Mr Smith tells me he will give me a chance and he is counting on me, then I will stay. However, he has not given me this assurance, so it is better to switch clubs. "I don't believe my situation at Rangers will become better." Regarding his next club, Sionko admits there has been interest from several clubs in France. He added: "I know there has been interest from Paris Saint Germain, but that was in the winter. "St Etienne? I don't know if that is still valid and there have only been hints so far from Toulouse. I don't think there is much chance of him getting a game next season so it will be in everybody"s interest if he goes. To be honest i think Sionko could be the one that got away. I think that he may hit form and do a job for us. I guess we will never know.

I seem to remember watching youtube compilations of Sebo and everyone saying he looked good.

I don't see us getting Faubert if Bordeaux keep to the 10mill. I hope Beasley produces more than he did with PSV

GERS INTERESTED IN FRENCHMAN Posted 24/06/07 11:06 EmailPrintSave Rangers and Tottenham are keen to sign French international Julien Faubert, according to his agent. The 23-year-old midfielder has been a regular for Bordeaux since signing from Cannes in 2004 and scored on his debut for France against Bosnia last year. Bordeaux lost striker Jean-Claude Darcheville to the Ibrox club on a Bosman deal but Faubert is under contract until 2011 and Rangers' bid is reported to be £4million. Despite one report claiming Rangers had not been in touch with Bordeaux, the player's agent Philippe Sol told the Sunday Mail: "Rangers are very interested in signing Julien and a move to Scotland is something that excites him. "His long-term goal is to play in the English Premiership but playing at a huge club like Rangers could help him achieve that. "He could learn the language, adapt to the culture and show his skills on a different platform. "A lot of clubs want to sign him. Roma would like Julien, as would Tottenham. "But a move to Spurs would depend on if they keep Pascal Chimbonda. "Rangers have shown the biggest interest and the passion to sign Julien is something that attracts him. "The fact that Jean-Claude Darcheville is also at Ibrox is important because it could help him settle quickly. "Now we have to find out what Bordeaux want to do with Julien. "He's an important player for the club and they won't want to lose an international who's on a long contract. "We will be holding talks this week to try to reach a solution." We have to admit and accept we are a stepping stone to the EPL. If we get the cream of the youth i don't care really.

Former Wolves and Northern Ireland striker Derek Dougan has died at the age of 69. The news will come as a shock to the Molineux faithful, who marvelled at his skills following his arrival from Leicester in 1967. Dougan played 323 times for the club in all, scoring 123 goals and helping create countless more in a lethal partnership with John Richards. I remember big derek as the guy who would fight for everything and put his head where it hurt. Rest in peace big man

Celtic only ever go for Fannies.

Dutch television said the 300.000 release clause in his contract is not true. If that is so then NAC have seen a 300.000 player become a million player.

/www.singaporedcmrsc.org/legend.htm He was the greatest of them all With wond'rous skills when on the ball The man they called The Magic Trooper The one and only Davie Cooper Began in Clydebank as a boy 'Destroy defences' was his ploy His tricks and skill amazed the team The man played football like a dream! At last to Ibrox Davie came His Destiny was football fame Jock Wallace signed him for us all 'Coop' had heard The Rangers Call And then for Scotland he did play To show the world the Auld Scots Way The ball was at the masters' feet The enemy soon felt the heat! The caps won were twenty two The pundits said this was too few A gentlemen with so much skill To watch this man was such a thrill! But now he's gone, his last game played We wish that Davie could have stayed No finer man graced Rangers' ranks For this we offer grateful thanks So if you are a football fan Lift up your glass to this great man We'll drink to Rangers' Super Trooper He's now Immortal - DAVIE COOPER

I have to disagree with you there Gribz the guy is only 20 how can you now judge how good he will get. Did you see right away that Rino gattuso would become a top player. Gribz you are getting old!!! My father thought Woodburn Waddle Young etc were the best. I thought Baxter Stein, McDonald, Jardine,Tom Forsyth, Ian durrant Coisty were the best. The next Generation will think Fergie Adam, Hutton, Burke are the best. You idolise players when you are young . The players of today are probably as good and certainly more Athletic as you forget the whole game has changed, Could Jinky Johnstone(if young) still waltz past 5 defenders I doubt it. A top player from yesteryear said we walked 5 yards and passed the ball 30 yards, now they pass the ball 5 yards and sprint 30 yards. We can only judge these players when they are 30-35 not at 20. I found this on google Gribz...... http://www.singaporedcmrsc.org/index.htm http://www.singaporedcmrsc.org/location.htm -
The Dutch were hot on the night and ran the Serbs ragged. Brilliant performance from the young guy's and totally deserved the win. If the Dutch had taken all their chances and the referee had sent off one of the Serb defenders for handling the ball to stop a scoring chance then it could almost have been double figure's. One thing upset me. Almost half of the Dutch team went up to lift the trophy draped in the flag of Suriname. If your heart lies there why the f*** do they not play for Suriname. If you decide to play for Holland then surely you are a Hypocrite to go up to lift the cup draped in another countries colours. It is like me playing for England but picking up a trophy draped in the flag of St Andrew's. I said in another post many Dutch people would prefer to have Dutch players in the team maybe this explains why they think like that. A bit racist i know but i honestly don't understand why they don't play for Suriname. They have enough players in Holland to give Suriname a great chance of winning things.
