If you’ve got a car to sell you don’t tell the market it’s near to clapped out. “It’s so good I don’t really want to sell it” is the line to take.6 points

The Westfalenstadium was the inspiration for modern Ibrox. Most stadiums were oval shaped with a running track whereas Westfalenstadium was 'square' with 4 separate stands each close to the pitch. Rangers directors visited Dortmund and were so impressed they chose that style of ground for the new Ibrox.5 points

Really dont see the point of having these awards dos when there is a month to go of the season and all the important games still ahead of us. Apart from it being yet another way to fleece the fans of course. And as for Goldson winning some sort of achievement award, it makes a mockery of the whole event. A bit like when Ricksen & Hartson were joint POTY in 2005 when neither player was in the top 5 best players at their clubs.4 points

Tav has played as a RM, but it didn't go too well if I remember right. Having a player in front of you is completely different from having players running in all directions around you.4 points

I'm not an expert but i imagine demolishing the copland and broomie and rebuilding the stands to be like the Westfalenstadion might be the most cost effective option. Would be pricey but when we get that 150 million bid for Lammers from Man U we could afford it.4 points

Not gonna lie I liked Lammers and thought the treatment was ott because the whole team was terrible in that period, I think he suits playing in his native land his best football has occurred in the eredivisie. We have to ask ourselves what happens if we bring him home and it does not workout and his price drops again we need to make a profit from every player we buy and sell. Feyenoord are also looking at Miovski at Aberdeen.3 points

Just to keep Rousseau from overreacting ... no new thread just yet; Former Rangers manager Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq are ready to launch an offer to bring 32-year-old Ibrox captain and right-back James Tavernier to the Saudi Arabian club this summer. (Slaati via TeamTalk) Steven Gerrard is closely monitoring Connor Goldson's situation at Rangers as the Al-Ettifaq head coach mulls over a possible double swoop on his former club for the 31-year-old centre-half and right-back James Tavernier. (Daily Record) Trabszonspor are making progress in their bid to sign Rangers left-back Borna Barisic and midfielder John Lundstram, according to reports in Turkey. (The Scotsman) Rangers are keeping close tabs on St Mirren teenager Ethan Sutherland, who has been linked with Manchester City and Chelsea after the Premier League duo recently sent scouts to watch the 17-year-old as he impressed on the wing and at left-back on loan to Alloa Athletic. I don't remember Goldson being dropped for two successive games before. Big statement.2 points

He’s been playing more for Romania than he has Alaves recently. Terrible move for the lad.2 points

Things that managers and players say in pressers are not necessarily true.2 points

Matondo is no real loss, as his last game showed. Far too erratic in his standard right now. Sima much more so, and it beggars belief how all our quality performers suffer one injury after another. Silva, Dessers, and Roofe are fit, and they all can play across the front line. Maybe it is good that we rested Wright for the more important games ... 😎2 points

Don't know how true this is, but heard the interest in Tav is real and ongoing (not just from Saudi) but not so much regarding Goldson (at the moment). Saudi teams have limit on the number of foreign players they can register.2 points

Faute de mieux, but yes, the ‘keeper should do more, much more. Anticipate, intercept, manage the penalty area and above all, get the angles right. Comes to naught, though, if he lets a trundler through his legs.2 points

While we are on the subject, I wish people would stop referring to us the 'Light Blues.' Our colours were always Royal blue; my first Rangers strip was that colour. In fact I have an LP with John McDonald singing a song called 'Royal blue.'2 points
