From Four Four Two - brilliant team and not a bad manager ; https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/brian-laudrup-perfect-xi5 points

In my humble opinion he was more suited and performed better in Europe, at times he was unplayable.4 points
-
At the end of the day, he cost us 1m or the like, yet scored tons of goals and vital ones in Europe too, raking in more money along the way than many could have hoped for. Getting 15m or whatever will be 14m or whatever more than we paid for him. Just saying.3 points
-
Not going to happen. He is still valued well over £20m by lots of our fans. We are selling at a low point when we should have sold at a high point.3 points

You're not offended? LOL I've heard it all now. Because that's exactly how you come across with your complaints about your counter speculation being counter speculated. I detected no amusement. Do I need to qualify that as opinion not fact? Round and round we go, putting your own interpretation on to my commentary which I never stated as fact. It's opinion, so if you grasp that from here on in perhaps you may not be so offended. Do I need to preface every opinion with this isn't a fact? Does everybody? Do you? Do I need to post an opinion such as I don't think Kent can be adequately replaced for upcoming matches and then add but if there's a surprising turn of events he can be? I really need to do that? Do you do that? Does everybody do that when offering an opinion? Everyone is adding the opposite possibility? I don't see it. He's virtually the same player as he was when he arrived? Is that a fact? Or is it your opinion? Which by the way I don't see you offering the alternative possibility that maybe he isn't. Another question might be that if you don't need to spend 14 million on equivalent quality why are Leeds doing it? Hard to attract equivalent quality to the EPL for 50K a week? Don't have a recruitment team who know as much about football as you do? And if you're saying it COULD be done fair enough. I'm saying I don't believe that and you're providing no facts to prove otherwise. Aside from that if you find counter opinion to yours tedious I think it's a bad idea to come along directly quoting me don't you? It's pretty much inviting a response don't you think? At this point I don't want to bring in a player then potentially wait a year for him to settle as we did for Barisic. And Barisic is class. Do I need to say that's not a fact it's my opinion on Barisic? Yet couldn't immediately fit in. This isn't the time to be risking that outcome. The manager wants Kent to stay. If the manager thought he could be instantly replaced with no detriment to the team for a lot less money i'm pretty confident he wouldn't be expressing concern that it could be taken out of his hands. And I presume he offended you by not following up with but maybe he could be replaced for a lot less with no problems. But hey, he hasn't won anything right? What does he know.3 points

And that's probably what got Lille bidding the current reported offer. Highest scorer in the Europa league group stages is more likely to impress them than scoring goals against a massively outclassed St Johnstone in the SPL.2 points

Tierney will have to play at least some part of the match, to help activate 'add-ons' to his transfer fee: a certain no of International Appearances will trigger a cash weigh in for the pederasts. Prepare to see him making a substitute appearance while strapped to a stretcher.2 points
-
It’s going to be fascinating to see him tested at a higher level. He needs to sign for the right team. He could really struggle in a more technical league. Scottish football suited him.2 points
-
Reference his immediate future, he will not enjoy driving his Lambo' around Lille, the place is full of cobbles.2 points

Did Peter tell Chris McLaughlin to pen this, or is Chris eventually showing some initiative?2 points

I don't recall many managers saying they want to sell a player during press conferences. What Gerrard says publicly and the reality of our transfer policy are two different things.2 points
-
Quick isnt just about physical speed though. Hagi has the technical ability to be play "quick one-twos" because that is about pinging the ball into the striker and receiving it back quickly - a player with a technically sound first touch can still be "quick".2 points
-
That's about £18m. Time to bite their hand off .... unless there are other parties quietly in the game, which wouldn't altogether surprise me.1 point

I mean if it's 20m that's pretty good I'd say.1 point

Translated: CONFIRMED: Colombian forward Alfredo Morelos (24) has formally requested the #Rangers to accept the 20M offer € made by him #Lille . Decisive hours.1 point
-
Not sure who reported what, but TM is rather accurate here and says 19.8m for Dembele and 24.3m for Tierney. It is, in any case, quite "interesting" to note the mhedia silence about the mega-deals of the Scum when applauding their "achievements" in the so-called "9IAR" time, when they essentially had a squad assembled for 30odd million costing more in wages per season than the entire Premiership has paid in in transfer fees over the period of our absence. I would harbour a guess that those sales - not least to Southampton - actually kept them afloat and going, with the large squad and inflated wages et al. That, and the regular participation in the CL (and "funnily" enough, UEFA threw ever more cash after the CL teams during that period). Let's hope the Hungarians put them to the sword tomorrow ... the howls of anguish about these unfair single-game play-offs will last till x-mas ...1 point

It's been reported that Dembele went for under £20m.1 point

A leading Colombian football journalist had told Rangers fans to expect “announcements soon” over the transfer of Alfredo Morelos to Ligue 1 side Lille. Carlos Aleman of WinSportsTV – who have interviewed Morelos regularly during the transfer window – believes that Lille’s interest in the player has been “reactivated”. “Apparently the negotiation between Rangers and Lille is reactivated for Alfredo Morelos, his absence in the last game is more than a clue. We will have announcements soon.”1 point
-
The Rangers manager wants Morelos out the door to whoever will take him. His value will have dropped unfortunately. Don’t think we’ll get anywhere near what we’d have got at the beginning of the year but we can only hope1 point

Lets see what transpires. I'm still optimistic the club has a valuation in mind.1 point

I suspect they'll be in for an unpleasant reality check fairly soon.1 point

Sadly, for Yahoos, we don't have to make up stories about nefarious goings on at their hovel.1 point

Two newspapers (well rags - The Sun and Mail) running with Kent wanting to stay and furious at reports suggesting otherwise. But looks like Alfredo is away as club have agreed to sanction s "quick sale" (which may have an impact on what fee we accept for him).1 point

I still think he’s our best centre back. Excellent player.1 point

Here's your corroboration... ? Kerrydale Meltdown @KerryFail · 16h Morelos finished at rangers smashed arfield car at training ground and said it wasn’t him. Youth players has it on his phone and showed it to him. Morelos handed a transfer request in. 100%1 point

On the Alfie front i'm disappointed it appears to be heading towards a less then cordial exit. He was key to our European success, he's earned the club a tidy profit. And incidentally all that's an opinion not a fact in case anyone is confused. And it would have been nice for him to leave with no rumours of bad feeling around. Also an opinion.1 point

If he's a fraction of Ralph Brand he'll be very special indeed.1 point

Central defence is the only part of our squad that I don't have any concerns with. Goldson, Helender and Balogun all look very solid and Edmundson and Katic are more than adequate back ups.1 point
-
Aye, in previous seasons we have looked amateurish at the back. Now, even with the cracking start Balogun has had, when he misses a couple of games Helander has come in and nobody is missing a beat. Very solid at the back right now, long may that continue. The defensive players must be absolutely oozing confidence just now.1 point

They didn't deceive you - that is a characteristic of a natural scorer. Ralphie Brand? A dwindling number of us will remember him with fondness.1 point

The seriousness of the Aberdeen players actions is far less than that of Bolingoli1 point

What a coincidence. Adidas are releasing a 'Dentist's Chair' Gazelle trainer next week - it celebrates Gazza's goal against Scotland at Euro '96. I kid you not!1 point
