It wasn't. We gave as good as we got, against a very good side, until the penalty/sending off.7 points

Kent, Kamara, Morelos and others are all proof that you should sell players when they are on a high.6 points

Sums up the team when I am more interested in the biscuit part of this thread6 points

I believe there were rules put in place when we joined the Lowland League to stop this eventuality. Think you can only play so many games for 1st team and Remain part of the B Team. I might be wrong, but remember reading thisstthe time.3 points

He has done ok of occasion but he has also been very much part of a creaking and poorly coordinated Rangers defence (and midfield who give the ball away too easily and often). Bottomline, he isn't a centre-half and wouldn't be playing there if we had managed the squad better. Needs a run in midfield to see if he is worth considering, when his loan expires. I've not seen enough yet to suggest that he is worth the fee mentioned in reports.3 points

Couldnt agree more. The amount of our fans who see Borna and immediately think he has had a bad game..... been our best player of late, quite comfortably too.3 points

I think Morelos can still play a big part this season. Kent and Kamara are nonentities.3 points

We've been saying for the last 3-4 windows that recruitment should be all about improving the first XI. We have failed miserably in that regard.3 points

He lives in Arkansas, so probably not many. I haven’t seen the team on the hoof for many years. Doesn’t stop me pontificating. (Is that an ok word here?)2 points

Why is Wright getting shat on..... in the Napoli thread.... when he didnt even feature ? Nothing quite like Rangers fans2 points

He isn't match sharp and to have started him against such fast and nippy quality last night wouldn't have been good for him or the team. Personally, I would have started King beside Goldson. Sands needs to be taken out of central defence against Dundee United and if not King, Davies should come in. Re. Money spent on Davies, would IMO, have been better used for a position where we don't have a quality young player coming through, such as King.2 points

In fairness, the ref got all the penalty incidents correct. He was, strangely, still honking though2 points

Matondo is a headless chicken with a worse first touch than me. Tillman has the heart of a pea They still have a future with us, but they need to up their levels and commitment drastically.2 points

The worst thing was that it was predictable a couple of months ago before this season started.2 points

To finish bottom of our CL group (with 1 point), second in the league (miles behind the vermin) and maybe a cup win, if the draws go our way and someone figures out how to beat the aforementioned vermin. All in all, I'm expecting it to be seriously underwhelming, at best.2 points

We needed a reaction from the team and we got one. We must build on this come Saturday.2 points

Reallity may be playing more of our youngsters and more pain. But it might be a way forward, if you appoint the right manager and SOMEHOW manage expectations down.2 points

Unfortunately Glen Kamara's desire crashed a long time ago. For the last two seasons at least, he's been a pale reflection of the player who joined us and it's no accident that no offers have come in for him. It's clear he's one of those who should have been moved on at the end of the 55 season. Instead, we have him locked in until God knows when.2 points

I don't think anyone is capable of winning a league title in these circumstances. Celtic have backed a manager financially and he is delivering results. We cannot give the same backing so need a miracle worker in effect. Last nights starting XI speaks volumes for the state of the squad.2 points

Our squad management has been poor. We have hung on to too many players for too long. We have recruited poorly for several windows, with the odd exception. We have too many players who need managed due to chronic injury problems/age. The way this season is going was predictable and in some ways resembles Celtic of two seasons ago. We are capable of the odd performance, but you know too many in this squad just can't do consistency and that is why the League is already gone, IMO.2 points

Much better performance bit ultimately the same outcome. However think there were positives to take from the 1st hour and sending off changed the game. Please bring back Europe Thursdays. I miss European Thursdays.2 points

Yeah I like American Football and "follow" The Raiders. Its not played in Canada who have they own version aptly named Canadian Football. Went to see Ottawa play once but wasn't for me. Actually went to see Toronto Wolfpack - Rugby League who won promotion into the UK Super League but Covid put a halt to it and they had serious issues after that. Baseball takes forever but I really got into it and still keep any eye our for Toronto Blue Jay's results. We tended to go and watch lower league Hockey as it was very expensive to watch Maple Leafs. We followed their feeder team, Toronto Marlies but did go and see Ottawa Sens a few times.1 point

Iv'e never really taken to baseball or basketball, but must admit a liking for American football. I know its highly technical and lasts forever, but i have had the same team to follow (Oakland Raiders / LA Raiders/ Oakland Raiders MkII /Las Vegas Raiders - the joys of franchise football!!) and always watch when they play. I have even watched college football finals when it was on.1 point

If he can't make our midfield when it is so bereft of good options, he isn't making it at Ibrox. King CH and Sands midfield for Saturday ?1 point

Although King seemed to struggle for pace when he came on, but perhaps that was because the game had opened up a lot by then.1 point

Sands and Ridvan were players the manager identified. Not sure of the rest. Apparently the club were watching Matondo for a few years (presume since the days of Mark Allen). Pretty sure Colak was the old 'played well against us once' type signing.1 point

Kent's game has been sussed. Sprints down the wing then cuts inside. Doesn't know how to deal with double marking and always needs back up.1 point

Yes that is the real challenge. Our support will never accept it. Even though its where we are.1 point

The post-match interview in Amsterdam was the last straw for me. GvB isn't the manager who is going to fix what needs fixed. Doesn't have the right mentality.1 point

McGregors penalty saves and the one in the first half that went through his legs but by the post. For me he showed he is #1.1 point

Of course, but sometimes the footballing Gods simply have their way 😱 At least it isn't a Spanish club coming to visit. Last four interactions with Italian clubs have been positive. Ironically, only 2 wins from 7 games. Fiorentina: got past them and into final. Livorno: First victory for Scottish side in Italy Inter: Draw enough to qualify for CLKO stage Parma: won qualifier to make CL Before that, 3 negatives Parma: knocked us out of UEFA cup Juventus: 2 heavy defeats CL Inter: KO'd us in UEFA cup1 point
