He's a man who knows how to get the ball into the back of the net. I'm actually disappointed to see him go.4 points

Good luck to Colak, wish him all the best and another who's welcome back at Ibrox anytime.4 points

“[Antonio Colak] took the time to speak to all the staff and squad in Germany to say goodbye and thank you. This moment typified Antonio’s class as a man. Everyone at Rangers would like to wish him and his family huge success moving forwards and he will always have a warm welcome at Ibrox.”4 points

The SPFL sub-committee appointed to deal with the "independent" review of the SPFL are Chris McKay of Celtic, Karyn McCluskey who is a SPFL non-exec director who is a Celtic fan and James MacDonald of Ross County, so there's at least 2 of them who will be looking after Doncaster and Celtic's best interests.4 points

From all accounts a classy guy on all fronts. Good luck big man.3 points

Seriously, You have to admire the seamlessness of Peter Lawwell's approach? Okay, we have been caught with our pants down. We will fudge an apology, pay some compensation, promise it will never happen again(ie we will ensure that we are never caught again) and, set up an INDEPENDENT review loaded with our place men. You know all those folks criticising the Blazers will say nothing because Peter has told them to say nothing.3 points

Our success this year will not revolve around Barasic staying or leaving. If Forest are giving you money for a 30 year old in the last year of his contract, I would grab it with both hands. If we can muster the following outgoings it will offset any additional spending we have planned for Danilio, Cifuentes etc. Colak 2.5 Sakala 4 Borna 1.5 Wright 1 McCrorie .53 points

I don't think we can gain further but it's been a notable victory nonetheless.2 points

Money for a player in his final year you must take it .2 points

I totally agree Cammy the end of his contract should be put in place immediately. If it means he has gardening leave, then so be it. That is better than him keeping his job for an indefinite length of time. Doncaster won't quit his luxury £400,000 job unless pushed. He has a blowtorch proof neck.2 points

Good luck Colak. He exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t massively excited last summer with his signing when most were. 29 years old and a track record of playing at a below-Rangers level, I thought it was underwhelming to say the least after how we had ended the season. Ultimately, I wasn’t wrong about his overall quality as a player, but he was a far better finisher than I think any of us expected. And Beale should have played him more when he got over his injury. Morelos did not repay the faith shown in him.1 point

Colak is off to Parma - official.1 point

I was expecting a statement from Rangers regarding the settlement and inquiry. Was never gonna be truly independent but the subcommittee mentioned above will ensure all the skeletons stay in the closet.1 point

Dujon Sterling can play LB and i'd expect one of Trusty / Panzo or a similar player could cover should they come in.1 point

Bailey Rice sounds like something you’d get in the chinkys that aside I’ve heard good things about this lad1 point

Everyone has their price of course, so worth in money against worth on the park will have to be taken into consideration.1 point

Good to see Bailey Rice involved, it would be a huge boost if he burst into the game this season coming.1 point

There's no mix up at all. If should is different from actual then that alone tells you it isn't working.1 point

Would it? I thought a sacking would be the result of him breaching his employment contact via gross negligence or similar and thus he’d be binned off with no additional pay. However I don’t think Celtic want him gone so he won’t go anywhere1 point
-
Backdate the sacking to the signing of the agreement.1 point

SPFL will say they wont call for Doncaster's sacking/resignation until the findings of the independent (my arse!) investigation is concluded, which I expect to be on the 33rd of Julember. Due course will have to be followed blah blah etc. Any discussions on the main outlets will reinforce this wait and see approach and not call for Doncaster's sacking.1 point
-
🤣🤣, should be, but the corrupt cabal will protect each other, their hatred of all things Rangers means nobody will call for resignations.1 point

Resignations surely at the SPFL. Doncaster for starters1 point

When news of this dispute between Rangers and the SPFL first came to light over the SPFL's determination to foist their Cinch deal on all members' clubs, allow me to remind Gersnetters of Michael Stewart's comments on Saturday's Sportsound on BBC Radio Scotland : "I do not like the way Rangers do things as a club. Neil Doncaster and Murdoch MacLennan, these are the good guys here". No one on the show challenged Stewart on that statement.1 point

Meh. Was hoping for some changes, new faces and fresh ideas. Looks like we've just shuffled the pack.1 point
