  1. A wee bonus today as the Tims have dropped points in Edinburgh so a win tomorrow is more vital than it was before 3 pm today. Cmon Rangers!!! Make it count! PS. Brenda Rogers has never won a league game at Easter Rd.

  2. Since the first league match against Kilmarnock we’ve been a team going nowhere now with a new manager and the hooped horrors dropping points we have something to focus on

  4. Could still produce it as a retro top😀

  5. Just get the win, preferably with at least a couple of goals and no injuries. 🟥⬜🟦

  6. There's no doubt we've had some good variations in the past but, ultimately, it's a matter of identity and I feel teams should have a definitive strip and stick to it. It's only an opinion of course but I see ours as a blue shirt, white shorts and black socks with red tops. That was what I saw as a kid the first time I watched them run on to the park and it just became fixed in my brain forever.

  7. A better example might have been his "tackle" on McCluscky on his Rangers debut, or pointing down his shorts, then to the inhabitants of the jungle 🙂 For all his on-field aggression, he was a brilliant football player. Some may say that makes the perfect combination. As for his new role with Rangers, I'll await official confirmation of role and responsibilities before getting my knickers in a twist.

  8. Gio failed but reached a European final ? 😳 and at least he won the SC Gio’s biggest problem was a DoF going around signing players he never wanted e.g Aaron Ramsey & not getting the hose he did want e.g. Veermann

  9. But we could wear a blue and white striped shirt in away games against teams that have no blue in their home colours. No?

  10. Order of priorities... 1. Win the 3pts 2. No injuries 3. Everything else (level of performance, clean sheet, etc.) is a bonus.

  12. Today's result at Easter Road heeps pressure on us - tomorrow was always a must win, but now it's a really must win 😀

  13. Surely they are still playing Tim Time

  14. I'd like to see McCausland get some minutes, but I suspect - in this system - he's competing with both Cantwell and Wright for the same position. Unless Cantwell plays in one of the deeper positions taken by Lundstram and Raskin.

  15. Great shout. I would like that to be our permanent second strip. After that they could do whatever they want.

  16. Yeah the blue and white striped top. Would look brilliant with a red RFC crest!

  18. An absolute must. Other socks are available but ours are black with red tops.

  19. Nooe. That’s Chelsea although they’ve got pansy white socks to make it even worse. Rangers must wear black socks with red tops. Helps to distinguish them from the other blue wannabes.

  20. I just hope he isn't consulted about our next home strip. The blue socks he preferred were an absolute disgrace!

  21. Dunno why you keep writing this? It's not pure speculation, it's straight from Souness' mouth, the guy who was just involved in managerial interviews.

  23. No Danilo... I can't take another game of that Dessers guy. He plays like Morelos on glue.

  25. I didnt want Lampard either but to suggest he has continuously failed is an over-reach. He did well with Derby and was unlucky to not get promoted - then in his first stint at Chelsea he actually did very well whilstthe club were under transfer embargo. He hasnt "continuously failed. But certainly not won anything or a success in his 2nd Chelsea stint

  26. I wouldn't mind so much if Sky actually paid decent money to show our games.

  27. I agree. I wish that those who used Lammers and Dessers as a way to get at Beale would now give support to the two of them. It helps no one to constantly criticise our own players.

  28. Just wanted to add a wee comment about the opposition last night. Despite us playing ourselves into trouble a few times, I thought Sparta were half decent and will present a tough match at Ibrox IMO. It's also worth noting that they average 2.5 goals per game in the Czech league and did hammer Dinamo Zagreb 4-1 at home in the play offs. I still think we can beat them but it won't be easy. Oh and that lad Birmančević looked decent. I was wondering where I had seen him before? Some digging and later I discovered the Serbian played for Malmo when the beat us at Ibrox. He's currently a Toulouse player on loan at Sparta.

  29. Great news, no one arranges family days out with the kids etc, especially trips to the panto around fixture schedules. I absolutely hate Sky.

  30. I might take pelters for this but here goes...Butland was great last night but did he do anything that's not expected from our goalkeeper? The bulk of the shots were close to him or directly at him. If you cast your mind back to the last time we faced Sparta in Prague, Macgregor pulled off a genuine world class save amongst a raft of top class stops in our 1-0 defeat. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy Butland is there as he is an assured and commanding figure but I wouldn't expect anything less from a Rangers goalie.

  31. Respectfully, does this group of senior players have determination, hunger and will to win? Based on their Rangers careers? Coupled with the fact that they can't run? I'd happily have a team of 40 year olds if they sweep up trophy after trophy but when you're seeing Todd Cantwell doing the running of 3 men in that midfield yesterday and having to be subbed before he gets sent off because of it you tend to think that maybe what we're doing/have done hasn't worked and we should change tack? Sima was flogged like a c**t last night because he's capable of doing the yards - others need to be able to match that. You might be right though, perhaps the Player Trading Model is delusion. It's not like the biggest sales we've made have been youngsters given a chance.

  32. I recall many of us saying the same about Tamundo, he's not won over everyone yet, but he's getting there, Sima is another example. Comparing that to a manager is apples and oranges though, completely different.
