Looking forward to watching us spend 2 million pounds on a replacement for Wright. Even more excited to watch the reaction when we discover that Wright was better than his replacement.6 points

Scott Wrong won't be missed. Smashing lad, great attitude, you really wanted him to succeed, but it never happened. Aw the best mate.4 points

Fbref stats are pretty underwhelming for Bahrami. Difficult to know how to read them when he has been playing in Serie A though. A few green shoots but plenty concerns too. Hopeless in the air and invisible off the ball according to the stats. Underperforms his non-pen xG consistently and quite significantly so I have doubts he will be a clinical goalscorer. Clearly a dead ball specialist. Had one excellent season in Serie B in 20-21 and I'm guessing they feel that he can replicate that form in similar circumstances in our league. On balance I don't see it with this one though. Sorry to be so negative!3 points

Two alarm bells with Nsoki. Close personal connection to manager and bad injury record for the past two seasons. Nothing inherently wrong with knowing the player but it does make me automatically skeptical because you worry we are back to phone book signings. Looking at his stats, he certainly looks a decent player. Did well at Brugge with Clement.3 points

His mum threw underwear at Tom Jones. Genuinely don't know. He wasn't born there and his parents were born a little bit south of there. There is probably a special rule for non indigenous brits that they get to play for a country if they went to school there or something. Dapo Mebude is a similar case playing youth football for Scotland despite being London born and Nigerian parents. I think it might be 7 years residency makes someone eligible.2 points

“My focus is on the Euros. I had talks with my agents and the pressure is on them." “They know what I want for my future, it’s a pretty important summer for me from all points of view." “I told them before going to the national team what I wanted." “I expect them to work as well as possible, to find the right team and the right manager for me." Losing to them is bad enough without also losing money on it. Still, I hope you win handsomely!2 points

£600K for Cantwell is fairly crap. £2 million for Wright, if true, is great business. As for Hagi, can his career really afford another year playing for the B team, after spending most of the 22/23 season injured? Seems crazy if he's trying to play hardball. He needs to play for his own sake and should be doing everything he can to get a move away.2 points

Cantwell, Davies and Wright getting punted is pretty big for us. Would love a load of incomings but getting them shifted is great business. Had my doubts about being able to move them on tbh.2 points

2 Million for Wright 😮 Thats the equivalent of 25M for O'Riley2 points

Only 3 days left to not sign any player. Time running out to do nothing.2 points

Is this a joke? Cantwell is a superstar. cc: @BigDel or whatever his name is.1 point

Rangers ought to pay some club £600K to take Cantwell away.1 point

I've just read that we are getting 600k for Cantwell. Is that a permanent deal? If it is, that is shocking considering the Tims are looking to get over 3 million for Mickey Johnston. He's been nowhere near their first team.1 point

Glad we are moving on from unreliable mercenaries.1 point

I should hope so. There’s forty of them. But I know what you mean. Easy. Some fine reliable servants there among the superstars.1 point

If we can move Cantwell and Wright and bring in £2.5M then it's decent business.1 point

Pretty sure we signed him for a development fee so 500k will book as a profit. With a year left I'm more than happy with that.1 point

We are desperately short of CB’s. what has happened to the busy week we were told about last weekend? We’ve not signed anyone yet1 point

Last season: Lowry wasn't good enough, Beale didn't fancy Hagi and players get injured (often, if they play for Rangers). This season: Lowry still isn't good enough, playing Hagi one more time will cost us a lot of money and Cantwell has told Clement he wants away. None of this is particularly strange. The pining for Cantwell and Hagi is becoming a bit creepy and Lowry is so far off it that he's barely worth thinking about.1 point

Last season, same time, Hagi and Lowry away on loan, Cantwell wrecked by Maeda. This season, all three effectively not there either. Very strange stuff.1 point

Anybody that will take them. By not playing someone he forces the player to find a move for the sake of his career. I think Clement does not care about the fee. He wants them off the wage bill, and in Cantwell's case out of the dressing room, as a priority.1 point
