  1. Good news. For all his limitations, Hagi has proven himself to be a useful player in a Rangers jersey so is much better contributing to the first team than not. Best outcome for all parties.

  2. When you see these results happen to them in Europe regularly it makes you sick that our lads shite their pants at the sight of green and white.

  6. I'd get Hagi back in the team on Sunday. Just to rest some of the others plus he can be quite good on his day

  9. That's yer man Peter Schmeichels son conceding more than Butland has this season in less games. He could concede as many tonight as Jack has all season too. Fucking great.

  13. Maybe the blame lies not with Hagi, but those who whipped up the contract.

  14. I don't disagree, but at the very least it's another attacking body to use.

  15. If true, it is good for all involved. We don't need to pay extra cash, we get an extra attacking body, and Hagi doesn't waste his career.

  16. There are definitely still bad apples in that dressing room and their effort is not there. Ten Hag cant be blamed for some of the useless give away passes they were doing all over the park. On the flip side Ive no idea what identity they have in any game so yes its both. It was always a 5 year job to rid all previous players, they still need rid of Rashford, McGuire, Lindelof, Fernandes etc plus Evans and Erikson are pretty much finished. But Ten Hags singings are very questionable - I dont rate the goalkeeper, Anthony has never shown near worth 80m and Mount has been one of the worst signings in premier league era and the strikers are very raw. I think Ten Hag wants the sack after the owners interviewing in the summer. He was firefighting behind the scenes in the last two seasons with multiple issues.

  18. I’ve just had a few minutes of Radio S commentary. Oh, the fear in McLeod’s voice.

  19. Let’s not be coy. It’s only halftime and Dortmund have scored FIVE. The visiting team has scored as well. Just once. I don’t want Dortmund easing up. No plucky fightbacks, thank you.

  20. The beggars are being completely out classed here, but note the difference a focal point like Serhou Gourassey offers that we don’t get from our 9. And the movement of BVB’s wide 2 running inside. The fact we have Cerny who can’t run or hussle and Matondo who is basically a man down v them is a frustration. Hope we can get Cortes fit and play Bajrami wide to trouble them in a similar way. Also guys like Trusty and Bernardo look miles off it. Don’t think Kyogo or Khun has touched the ball. The much lauded Callum McGregor easily nullified by closing off the passing channels. Dortmund miles ahead, but other mob fc shouldn’t be capitulating like this.

  23. Yes, its yet another bad decision. Why commit to something if you don't want to see it through?

  24. "A contract clause - which would reportedly have seen Hagi's wage increased due to the numbers of matches played - complicated the situation for the Romanian internationalist after he failed to leave the club in the summer." –The Herald

  25. Sensible decision from both parties. Player and agents obviously thought there would be more interest in the summer than transpired. He is here until January(at least) so if we can have him play games and contribute its definitely a good idea. I think he is a better player than Cerny or Dowell.

  30. The rule is quite clear but interpretation is subjective. If the arm is in an unnatural position and the ball is initially kicked (or headed) from far enough away, it's a penalty. Souttar actually moved his arm in the direction of the ball on Sunday, so it was a clear penalty. The handball situation is a lot better than it was two or three years ago, when they were giving penalties any time a ball hit an arm.

  31. Agreed. The manager has said many times his frustration with the rules as a coach is how does he give his players clear instructions on how to avoid giving away penalties when the rules aren’t clear to anyone. He has a point.
