  1. Don Robertson recommends an on-field review as he felt Dio was pushed and any subsequent contact was negligible so not of excessive force. Walsh disagreed. Difficult to comprehend but I'm sure Willie Collum will have it review anonymously and do nothing. An utter embarrassment.

  2. Only our team can win a good result at a difficult venue and everyone is spitting mad. if that red isn't overturned we'd be as well giving up.

  3. Walsh had his arm up pointing to the right and was obscuring his view of the incident. Var also kept replaying the view from behind walsh which was the wrong view to see the incident.

  4. Superb result, I'll be honest in saying I thought we'd struggle today. Big game midweek, no shortage of injuries, a team that are very robust and get in your face. Well done Rangers, that's a big result.

  5. Its just a continuation of very dubious decisions going against 1 team and going in favour for another. We've yet to be awarded a penalty in the league this season thanks to the "penalty to Rangers" narrative last season. The time for dignified silence is over.

  6. VAR have done their job in this instance as they advised Walsh to review it. It's all on Walsh.

  7. Glad Propper stayed on. He has had a good game. Noticed he has started putting himself about more.

  9. Yilmaz is a name like Smith or Miller in Turkey, AND, more importantly, football was introduced to Turkey before they had surnames. Thus, by tradition, Turkish players use their first names on their shirts, much like commentators do. If there are more than one, the first letter of the surname appears too. Aside from this, the formal approach to a Turkish man would be "Ridvan bey", but "Mr. Yilmaz" in English. His wife would be called (i.e. don't know her name, if he has one) e.g. "Ilay bay". So it is quite normal that we call him Ridvan. On a sidenote, our Brazilian striker is actually Danilo Pereira da Silva, and we all know what is written on his and his compatriots' shirts. And I am quite sure that this is just a traditional Brazilian footballer thing.

  10. I heard Ridvan is out for a month after making that...twisted his tongue.

  11. 100% this You can see why they are 3rd in the league. They knock the ball about well. Delighted to win and great goal again from the best striker in Scotland. OK I've taken that too far

  13. They may have to rescind, without the formal appeal process.

  14. Diomande was a target all game! and the red card incident the DUTD player pushed him twice before he reacted yet never touched him, shocking decision!.

  15. Three goals three points and a red card a full house referee was a twat

  16. Even the BBC commentary team were surprised by that.

  17. ... and add the VAR lot to this. It wasn't even worth a yellow. Anyway, three points at a rather difficult venue, satisfying 2nd half, lots of chances (on either side), but those out there showed character. When the going gets tough ...

  18. Really pleased to see us turn around a dreadful first half performance to win comfortably in the end. Manager's full-time reaction to that disgraceful red card says it all about Nick Walsh. The handbags after it were more violent than any slap Dio attempted. Ridiculous.

  19. Now take them all the way Rangers. Walsh is a cheating rat.

  21. Cyril with a second fantastic finish within 3 days. That was a hit! Glad to see Lovelace on again, he was the one I thought had the most potential prior to his lengthy injury - the more first team minutes he gets the better so can be a regular feature on the right.

  24. His name is Declan Gallagher; the opposition is Rangers. Or was that a rhetorical question?

  25. In a season of woeful domestic away performances away, that really was pathetic today. I don't understand how we continually turn up to these games and look surprised by opposition sides being up for it. Add in our negativity on the ball then it's no wonder we drop points.

  26. A great week for Everton, 6 points and the two teams below them lost twice each. Moyes will keep them up. Bournemouth - what an attacking team, 9 goals in 2 games against teams going for Europe. Iraola certainly going for Manager of the season, how long before a big club poach him. Its a horrendous result for Forest especially with City and Newcastle winning, but they just need to write it off and go again.

  27. Sunderland keep blowing it. Missing two penalties away to Burnley and now conceding at home to the bottom club in the last minute to cost them a win. Thats 4 points blown in the last minutes of matches and that would have had them joint top.

  28. we're known for our passion, loyalty, and, let's be honest, our demanding nature. One minute we're singing a player's praises, the next we're questioning their commitment. This rollercoaster of emotions is part of what makes us unique, but it can also be tough on the players. The pressure is immense. Every Old Firm game is a war, and every point matters. We expect nothing less than 11 lions out there, and rightly so, given our club's history. But are we sometimes too quick to judge? 'Always Ready' is our motto, and it should apply to us as fans too. We need to be ready to support our players through tough patches, to recognize their efforts, and to acknowledge that everyone makes mistakes. Yet ultimately a balance is key. We need to maintain those high standards, but also offer encouragement and understanding . After all, we're all in this together and I think Dessers is a prime example of being as ready as he can be and he definitely Never gives up or gives in when playing for us.

  32. Watched it and seems a cracking big guy, but sad to say his body just isn’t up to playing football anymore as I’d have loved to have kept him for another year.

  34. We are. Also worth remembering that we did get a lot of penalties last season but the vast majority were awarded by VAR and not the on-field officials.

  41. If he's hated so much why do folk keep calling him by his first name? It's Yilmaz as far as I'm concerned.
