  1. If Tavs goal had been allowed to stand, if we had gotten a legitimate penalty when Tav was tripped in the box, and if Aribo had scored we wouldn't be having this conversation. Oh and Balagun "foul" was outside the box...... You want to talk about improvement? Fine. Let's talk about improvement. Qualified top of a very difficult EL group whilst not losing a game. Sit top of the league, yet to lose a game in the league. Conceded one goal at home in the league thus far whilst scoring 40 goals and dropping 0 points. Now compare and contrast to last season - no improvement? One domestic defeat all season and 4 wins away from claiming our 1st title in 10 years after being hours away from not being able to field a team away to Brechin in those dark days. The journey struggling against the likes of Alloa, Peterhead, Berwick Rangers et al. Struggling to get out of the championship and being humiliated by Motherwell in that play off. Losing to Raith in the Mickey Mouse Cup Final at Easter Road. Still not seeing any improvement? Best unbeaten run in the club's history after eclipsing Walter Smith's record (what a team that was), 1 game away from breaking the clean sheet record. Still not seeing any improvement? Some Rangers fans need to remember where we've came from, remember last season, remember we have no devine right to win any game of football nevermind winning it 4 or 5-0, this has to be earned and this season, the team have (THUS FAR) stood 99% of the time and delivered. They just need to deliver another 4 times this season to become immortals. If that isn't improvement then I'm the leader of The Green Brigade.

  2. These stats are utterly ridiculous - 1 goal, yes 1 single goal conceded at home in the league so far this season, whilst we've scored 40. Let those stats sink in. They say a lot about the change in mentality from last season. Our away form is also very impressive, but home record is ridiculous.

  3. Good job our players have more bottle than some fans!

  4. I am so relieved. I am a pessimist by nature and kept going through scenarios like dropping points today and them whittling down the gap, cheered on by their media. Today will have been a kick in the balls for them and could hopefully affect their performance tomorrow.

  5. Thanks. I've been viewing it for a long time but only just got around to joining. It's a great forum.

  6. If I could have got near Aribo after he missed I would have throttled him!

  7. This is true. He might not have won anything yet but who could have expected him to? He joined a team with half the budget of Celtic and yet has moulded them into a side that hopefully will win the league in the next few weeks. In 2018 it was not possible to believe that Rangers could even mount a decent challenge for the league an nobody should have set a target of 2021. He has shown himself to be a fantastic leader. I won't believe the league is won until it is won but things are looking good.

  9. What a sad, embittered, biased individual he is. Can't wait to see his face the day 55 is secured!

  11. He didn’t have his finest performance in a Rangers shirt. Got caught in possession so many times. He can do so much better.

  12. Nah, total misunderstanding of football, football games and how / what you need to win championships.

  13. [FT] 1-0. That'll do, Rangers. I really don't care how they come. I didn't think we played that badly, to be fair. Certainly not clinical, and we lacked a bit of tempo to our play. I thought we defended pretty well. I like the look of Wright; I think he'll be a good addition. Itten was terrific - after questioning him at half-time. I still don't think he got the correct service, but I can't fault his effort. Davis was imperious. Again.

  14. I thought Tav was brought down for a penalty

  15. This is becoming a regular half time beef. We have forced the Killie keeper into one save, the Kent strike touched over the bar five minutes before the break. Please Rangers, start the second half hard, get the second and ease the pressure. Start working the keeper. Jack's strike is special, maybe his first touch is better than his second(the strike)?

  16. Don Robertson has been cheating Rangers out of decisions all the way through our journey back to the top.

  17. Impossible to tell from the replays as they weren’t close enough but it looked 10 times more of a penalty than the one Celtic got the other night.

  19. High tempo from the first whistle and no pedestrian football please. 3 points is a must and a good performance will help banish that horrible display v Hamilton. C'mon Rangers. We're nearly there!!

  20. Honestly mate, I don't care how we get over the line, as long as we do and as soon as possible ? If we do and I'm celebrating and eradicating 10 years of hurt and anger, I certainly won't be thinking back to certain games and thinking, "well it's all well and good winning the league, but remember that game in February against Killie that we won 1-0, we should have played better". I'll be too busy setting of fire works, smoke bombs, flying flags (joking obviously ???), all social distanced and respecting whatever rules that are in place.....

  21. Since SG came in we have improved all the time, yet we have some fans saying ''he hasn't won anything yet'', true, but I find it difficult to understand that reasoning! should SG have won something by now? it's a long road to get that from where we were when he came in, I think he has done excellent and it is only a matter of time when he does win trophies! I'm delighted what he(and his staff) has done in such a short period, in fact he is going to be under more pressure next season and onwards to win silverware!. Let's just enjoy what he is doing for now.

  22. Trying to get a dig at The Famous, he ties himself in knots like a bi-sexual contortionist. I wonder if there will be a category for him in the next Census.

  23. Yes it will be great to have Alfredo back. Not just for his goals, his all round contribution and link up play have been sorely missed in the last 3 games. Lets all hope he can reign in the petulance for the run in. Just to accentuate the lack of goals in the last 3 games - Hagi, Jack and the other an own goal v Hamilton. ?

  24. Yeah the state of the pitch is a concern and has an obvious impact on our ability to play our preferred style. Spent plenty money on it recently and was hoping it would stand up to the test this season.

  26. We didn't play brilliantly but it was completely comfortable. We just need to finish teams off and it would be so much easier for those of us panicking over nothing at home.

  31. Said much the same thing earlier. It's almost like we've forgotten that for us to score we need to up the tempo and work their goalie

  33. Yeah, do they even have a single yellow? At least 3 of them should have been carded.

  35. Today on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound : Richard Gordon : "Rangers have had three red cards this season, all retrospective" Michael Stewart : "ah but, they've been getting away with incidents all season, here at Tannadice, Morelos got away with throwing an elbow". Richard Gordon : "Morelos was retrospectively red carded for the incident at Tannadice". Michael Stewart :"ah but, they've been getting away with other incidents all season".

  37. We have been having some caching issues so a software patch was applied earlier and it may take a while for the site to settle down. If Blueflag sees anything else obvious, I'm sure he'll fix it.

  38. That's the team I expected: a good balance and plenty in attack. Also more options from the bench if required. Killie will be stuffy so vital we approach the game with the right attitude and take any chances we create.
