Some questions on this: 1. Given there are no shares available to buy from Rangers, will the RST wait until they are, or else will they look to buy shares on the market (with the proceeds not going to the club)? 2. The site mentions the RST Finance Committee. Who is on it (and why is there not a list of RST board members on the site that I can see)?

Was away last week so perhaps the wife has hidden mine. I guess that the OP is wrong then when it says that 276 creditors were written to when there are 1000s of bond holders.
-
I find it strange that BDO have not written to me as a bond holder and therefore a creditor.
-
I'd be surprised if these rules apply in this case.

Tom English On The Requisitioners V The Current Board
Bluedell replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The way McCoist votes will have nothing to do with Walter and everything to do with job preservation. I've been away and haven't seen McCoist's latest comments but It doesn't negate English's criticisms in other areas.- 16 replies

Tom English On The Requisitioners V The Current Board
Bluedell replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
English says it appears he is throwing his weight behind the current board. That's how it appears to me as well, and does anyone seriously believe that if the AGM was tomorrow McCoist would vote against the current board?- 16 replies

I find it hard to criticise the Tom English article.- 16 replies

We got loans from people as well (Rangers Youth Development). Don't see it as a big deal.

They changed the name of the old company to make it a tidier plc name. They bought Pacific Shelf 595 Ltd and changed its name to protect the old company name. That company has minimal trading. They subsequently had another company HMS 402 Ltd IIRC and changed its name and it became the football club (ie the company that actually plays the games). The stadium and the players are still owned by the plc.

Is the relationship as intense considering the two teams are no longer challenging for the same titles? In a puely footballing sense, no, as there are no games between them but I despise them more than I ever have. Is this change a benefit for Scottish football and Scottish society, for example is the league more or less competitive? Everything about this not beneficial to Scottish football. The league is less competitive. the league has been won off the pitch in a murky SFA office and not on the pitch. Scottish football's credibility has been damaged and it will take more than a decade to repair. Does the new league structure provide lower leagues more money? I understand that the new league structure does provide the lower leagues with more money. The clubs were effectively bribed with this cash to vote for it, and it was nothing to do with whether it would be good or bad. Is there a reduction in societal issues such as violence etc...? I can't comment on violence as such, but there would be a reduction in incidents due to the lack of OF games at the moment. However the long term impacts could lead to an increase in the long term. Or has the loss of the “Old Firm” damaged the commercial pull of Scottish football? Yes, but there are other issues that have also impacted it. No self-respecting company would get involved in a league that is a joke. Ultimately I want to know whether people believe the relationship between the two sets of fans has changed due to the transformation in Scottish football? The relationship has changed but not due to reconstruction but due to the Celtic fans behaviour. Certain businesses owed by Celtic fans have lost my business, possibly forever, due to it for example..

I still use my Travistrek mousemat in the office.
-
I'm sure they did it when Walter was manager too.

Has Travis retired? I can't remember if I've been told that before or not.

That's what's most bizarre about it. If I'm going for an interview for a CEO position (or other executive directorship) I would not expect to have any contact with a third party suppliers, especially PR (a relatively insignificant part of a football club), nevermind have "many constructive and friendly face to face meetings and phone calls with our PR adviser." WTF is that all about? Is Irvine the one who's actually running the club at the moment?
-
I could see a Chief Exec coming in and removing executive directors who were not up to the task, but probably not non-execs.

Seems a reasonable appointment. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.

police investigate whytes links to green.

Then they should deal with the sectarian singing inside the ground as well. Also I seem to recall Rangers getting punished for the actions of their fans outside the ground. -
It was interesting to see a well kent and very well connected bear standing at the main door on the other side of the fence from the protestors clapping along. I wonder if anyone would have a go at trying to slaughter him?

MFDM's camera work (holding a tripod up in the air) wasn't the best However credit to him for putting the video together.

Ah sorry, misunderstood the point you were making.

Seeing as you think it's important, how much money has McColl put into the club?

That's for those who apply through the advert. It doesn't preclude other interviews, or perhaps they subsequently decided to have some earlier because it suited the candidates. I really can't get excited about the dates.

The strap-line is just a typical facebook one. I frequently find the use of it on Facebook insulting even though it's not intended. I'm sure they were just copying its use and no offence was intended but it certainly doesn't help.

Rangers 3 - 1 Dunfermline (Jig 70 pen, Daly 77, Mohnsi 90)
Bluedell replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Very disappointed in him. He would have been a first choice for me at the start of the season but he just didn't perform. Perhaps he needs a few games to get back into it, but on last night's performance he shouldn't be in the team.- 126 replies

Not an appointment that excites me. Looks to have a background in the very specific area of investments, whereas we really need someone with a more general background.
