  1. It would include Bocanegra (?) and Goian (£430K) payoffs but not Argyriou.
  2. You referred to Aberdeen's total staff costs and not their players. If you want to deduct directors' costs (including Ahmed), including their pay-offs included in the figure I quoted then it brings Rangers down to £16m.
  3. Our staff costs were £17.9m for the 13 months to 30/6/13.
  4. LOL at this. This fool doesn't realise that old co was "The Rangers Football Club Limited" until 1981 when it became "The Rangers Football Club PLC". We have always had "The" in the company name. I wonder of his bitterness means that he refers to all of Dunfermline's opponents by their legal company name or is it only clubs that he secretly envies? As for some of the other posters on that thread, you have to wonder if they believe that their club was founded in 1885 or 1921 when their limited company was incorporated.

So it was probably him making the call and not answering one.

I thought it was well known that Ally hardly ever answers his phone to anyone.
  7. FS quoted something but I'm not sure how that works in practice. Let's say CW Ltd, a company registered in BVI, owns shares in Rangers. How do you you find out who the beneficial owner is? Write to the company and get no response? Write to the director who says that under BVI law he cannot reveal that information? What do you now do? Having read the section that FS quoted several times, I'm still unclear as to what happens if the plc doesn't know who to contact. I just don't think that they are a catch-all but I'd need to read them in full context.
  8. It depends on the set up of the investment vehicle. Also I know cases where the legal beneficiary is not the person with the control so the information may not always be that worthwhile.
  9. Legally we may not have the right to know, and I doubt the directors can legally disclose the information without the permission of the shareholders, even if they wanted.
  10. If it's OK for them to sing about the famine, it's OK for us to take the piss out of them for doing so.
  11. Advice to the soldiers: just don't do it. People in Northern Ireland wouldn't recognise a "red hand salute" so there's no reason to think that anyone else will.
  12. Stonewall penalty for Real denied which could have changed things. Dreadful decision.
  13. He didn't look fit, so it may be a bit unfair to judge him on that performance.
  14. Not sure I follow what this means but are you talking about using CICs?
  15. Is this rumours on FF from people who don't know what they are talking about? As I've posted before, I can't see Blin taking an executive role and it would be a big step down for him.
  16. Blin isn't going to be a replacement for Stockbridge.
  17. Green said exactly the same thing. Also I'm not actually sure there was a commitment to greater fan onwership as such. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I found the minutes from the meeting with Mather and Stockbridge a bit more revealing. Sure it's good that they met and it's possibly not your fault that more can't be revealed but it's not going to win over those who are unconvinced by Paul Murray in particular.
  18. I made no comment about whether Plgsarmy excited me
  19. He wouldn't be the first....allegedly
  20. Doesn't add anything to what I already knew.
  21. Cannae afford matching chairs. Is that really the guy we want at out club?
  22. We're 1-0 down at home v Celtic and down to 10 men with 5 minutes left. Lennon has been out winding up the fans. Brown is kicking everything in sight and no action is taken. We then get 2 goals and 3/4 of the stadium are on their feet singing Derry's Walls. Are you telling me you don't join in?
  23. Who is the guy sitting on McColl's right? Interesting to see who was there....and who wasn't!!!!
  24. Hardly oblivion, but is a CEO with money raising ability eally what we want at this point? I'd prefer the CEO to actually run the club successfully and have a background of doing that.
  25. I have to wonder who is behind any investment group that gives the Easdales their proxy for no apparent reason. The fact that they aren't Craig Whyte doesn't reassure me in itself.
