Ms slaggerty and co are so immersed in rangers. Do you think they realise that their own team is currently imploding in front of their very eyes?
-
Their 6 percent of shares will be very handy in the near future. They have welcomed the new consortium with open arms, as if this was their end game all along. Keep them on board till the time comes that they are needed no more, then through them back in the gutter.

the easdales represent everything that is wrong with our club. The are the face of those whos own self interest greatly outweighs the best interests of our club. Nevermind the Easdales surviving, I really dont see how any of the current board can survive given the current state of the club.

Rangers are facing an impending crisis on and off the field
gisabeer replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
im seriously starting to question wether the board actually realise that there is a football team attatched to the business they bought into! I fear that there is far to much for the current board to hide to let outsiders into their cartel. nothing more than removing the lot of them will do the club any good, not even the 6.5 million investment being offered at the moment will bring about the change we need. And i fully expect them to block that investment at every turn. -
sounds like someone changed their minds at the last minute.
-
unfortunately by the time the law catches up with them the damage has already been done and as we have found out in the past its irreversible.
-
legend status as a player has nothing to do with managerial or coaching abilities. Infact McCoist and Durrants legend status bought the pair far more time than they deserved to the severe detriment of the team on the park. the worst management team our club will ever see.

that shouldnt take too long! The walls are slowly closing in on the board and they are hanging on by the skin of their teeth. I pray for the change that needs to happen at our club. Im sick of the contempt the board has for the fans and its good to see the SFA not bowing down to Ashley. Its a real dent in his ego.

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ally-mccoist-rangers-board-must-4847930 If you were in any doubt that McCoist isnt deluded then his latest outburst should set you straight. This is from a man who with a 20 million pound wage bill and a remit to take us up through the leagues wilst building a team to compete at the top level of scottish football. I have to ask a couple of questions here : Why are there 12 players out of contract in the first place? and which ones would you actually keep ally?

I was at that game. As. Soon as they scored I turned to the guy next to me and said that goal will cost us dear. Franz beckenbaurs face said it all at the end of the second leg. I've never. Seen a more relieved man in all my life. We were good enough to go all the way that year. It was a very fine line between success and failure, unfortunately we were on the wrong side

It isn't about the team any more, it's McCoist v the board and their egos. If there is any decency left in the man he should walk right out the door.

to be honest i dont think bill struth could have ever imagined the amount of shit the club would find its self these days. i know i certainly didnt . i didnt think we could sink any lower once we were stripped bare and sent down to the lower teir. how wrong i was! At some point it all has to come to a head and the club will emerge from the other side. I very much doubt though it will be the same club we all grew up to adore other than the name.

I dont buy into it. the McCoist resigning thing. Or has he handed in his notice? Still in charge though. board reject the alleged offer a few hours later, just as the man they could not hang walked off the bus with the team for tonights game. just another page folks, in the great big blue book of you just cant make this shit up. WTF is going on? Were a 24-7 pantomine and its free entry for all to see. Administration was a cake walk compared the situation were in now. Complete and utter peril stares us in the face and theres no hiding place, no matter which way we turn. And its starting to take a heavy toll . I dont know how many more low ebbs i can take. McCoist is now serving them up on a weekly basis and I am now losing the will to live where all things Rangers are concerned. Im actually starting to question wether the team are losing on purpose they are playing so badly ( though some players are just really shit) and i have to say Mr mcCoist was pretty smug on his interview after losing two nill tonight. I will thank Ally for one thing though, he has managed to empty the stands far more efficiently than any UoF boycott could! thats the thing with Rangers though . you know somethings wrong but you just cant put your finger on it. and whatever it turns out to be you can guarantee it will drag the through through the gutter and deeper into the abyss. Is there anymore light to be had at the end of the tunnel? Well i am a firm believer that football without fans is nothing and i firmly believe that whoever takes control of the club will have to acknowledge the fans and gain their backing. They will not succeed without it. Not even ashley. I sincerely hope they realise that I

Can't afford to sack him and can't afford to keep him. Mcoists performance as manager has dragged us down every bit as much as the boardroom has over the last 3 seasons and if the current vein of form continues then things will come to a head very quickly. Attendances can only plummet from here on in. No doubt the board will have a fantastic new vision for the club at the minute followed by plans for a new share issue, if the fans aren't coming through the turn styles then the board might find this very difficult to achieve. Don't think Ashley could even bale us out either. How can you take a loan that you can't pay back? I can't see any way out other than admin. We're back to where we started when Craig Whyte showed up, only this time the fans aren't buying into it. The McCoist predicament is about to force everyone's hand and the board don't have any answers. That's why they are so silent, they don't know what to do?
-
McCoist will lose a lot of respect from his peers when he is finally prised from the managers position. I have lost all respect for him and will always look on him with distain till the end of my days. He is now a sad pathetic figure in my eyes.
-
It will end when the " we love ally he's a legend" brigade finally get the finger out their arses and finally admit that Ally is well out of his depth. He does not have what it takes to manage Rangers football club, or any team for that matter.
-
there are still too many going to home games if there were only one or two thousand going the board would not be able to shy away from the fact. Boycotting games and voting with their feet is the only option the fans have. There is no avenue for debate or reason with the board. They run riot through the club lining their pockets dragging our club through the gutter, oblivious to all that surrounds them. I personally cannot accept this board, their actions and the state they have our club in as a by product of supporting Glasgow Rangers. How can anyone accept what is going on? Blind loyalty? More like oblivious loyalty. faithfully attend games and try not to look up the marble staircase on your way out. Dont acknowledge the fact that those running the club are selling you down the river.
-
Why should the fans pay for the gross incompetence of the board? the club has been milked for all its worth and it looks like they will be trying for more in the very near future. no id rather starve them out if its all the same to you. it wouldnt even take that much for change to happen if all the fans united. one or two empty stadiums would certainly put serious pressure on the board and force their hand.
-
And right after that they will hold an inquest into the negative mentoring that Walter passed on to ally!
-
Smith is having a laugh. hes passed on all he knows to Ally and the end product is there for all to see. Walter i would have sacked you in the ninties, sacked you for trying to win a Uefa cup final on penalties and sacked you after kuanus. We couldnt have picked a worse manager to mentor mccoist.
-
You can bet your bottom dollar that why're will drag as many as he can down with him. I can't wait( and he will). Till he throws Charles greens name into the hat.
-
The way McCoist is running the team I don't think it will be long before the fans start voting with their feet. King is wrong to call for boycotts, but by the same token there are those who are criticising anything that is suggested no matter what. As for the comment "as long as I have a team to support". We'll it borders on the ridiculous. This isn't the rangers we all knew. It's a shell and nothing more. The sooner the blind loyalty mob see this the better. I'll personally won't set foot in in in in our stadium again until there are proper people running the club .
