anyone know how fan owned clubs approve transfers, where the money comes from, who gets what wages... E.g. If good striker became available, could we have a whip around the members and buy them?

when they do something wrong, its a minority - that are not true celtic fans... they do their best to defuse the situation and ignore it. Rangers? 200 people out of 200,000 are involved in scenes in manchester, and its 'all rangers fans'. and especially after the game in romania and all the slanderous abuse all rangers fans have been receiving seems baffling. although I do think our fans involved with causing unnecessary trouble should be critised...

Thanks But to be honest, Charlie Adam is not that much older than him... 3 years or so? and He's gone down to the Championship and is a stand out. If someone 'does well' in League Two, I don't think they'll be good enough at that stage for the Rangers first team. They could always, of course, go on to be the next big thing... but examples of top top players slowly coming through the ranks in the UK are almost unheard of...

during 9IAR it was aberdeen and motherwell etc that were challenging us for the league. Celtic have only come back into it the last 15 years or so. SPL is still shite. just look how poor the other teams have done in europe. sadly it just reflects how poor we have become.

Perhaps you have a point. But I have still yet to see anything from Fleck that merits the plaudits he has received. Or the potential that is spoken about. I hope he does fulfill his potential, and like you say in his proper position... I would love it if Fleck was playing so well that he becomes the first name on the team sheet, like so many top class youngsters across the globe.

They would actually stand out and be first team regulars? unlike fleck - who has only impressed by not looking out of place within the squad - which is commendable - but he has done nothing the likes of what rooney did and that boy wilkshire i think it was who ripped us a new one at the emirates did. They showed outstanding ability... I've yet to see a Gers youngster, when given a chance like those 2 examples, that has shown they can be better than what we currently have. Yes they have potential, and yes they have played well given there age. If they are good enough they are old enough, but they do have to be good enough, not just good for their age. I would hope if we did have someone that outstanding that they would make it into our team. Perhaps the last person to be "blooded in" was maybe Barry Ferguson?

Was going to say I'd rather get Jonny Evans, but didn't know the 2 were related! If truth be told, I'd only take a youngster that would automatically be a first pick, otherwise there is not much to be gained by either party... just look at aaron! I'd be more keen on the likes of giving that Italian boy (mascheda is it?) a full (or half) season of first team (and CL) football which would benefit both...

I thought the ball he let drop for maloney looked like he pulled out of it... rotten luck for the guy, hope he can bounce back, and who knows, even get a game up front?! (although Hutton started as a striker did he not...?)

ARGH! UEFA found us innocent first time round did they not?! yet everytime its dragged up its like they smited us from on high! I was losing interest in speirs, but this story really grinds my gears. Can we really afford to just ignore it and hope it goes away when this is what non-gers fans will be reading about us?
