  1. Usually agree with you, Rousseau, but not today. Have to admit that Leicester play football that is effective and pleasing to watch. Reminiscent of Ipswich Town in the early seventies.
  2. Just for the sake of accuracy, ownership of the name and marks was never lost.
  3. Morton. Meiklejohn. McPhail. I never saw them. But they are legends because their names are known long after their playing days by the fans of other teams as well as by Rangers supporters. Geordie Young's a legend. So are Greig and Baxter. Laudrup and Gazza will be. But good servant Miller? I doubt it.
  4. McCann's a tim, Laudrup never tried a leg his last season, Albertz ... erm ... erm ... ach, I'll think of something. See what I mean, dB? I despair at times
  5. Time to close this one. Neither side will prevail over the other and it's clear where the majority is.
  6. "it split views right through Scotland" True. The women at the Mosstodloch WRI could speak sbout nothing else.
  7. That Report Is wrong. Chic Young's always told us that O/F matches cause all the trouble in the Westoscollan, wherever that might be, and he'll be right won't he?
  8. What a load of utter cobblers. Where did she get her qualifications? Cocoa School? Observe her hand movements during interview. She's either play acting or has zero confidence in her theories. If I had a Cocoa School degree I'd probably be able to know which.
  9. I've never met Frankie but I know he doesn't belong in that company.
  10. I would pay to watch di Canio but I wouldn't have him in my team. Johnstone was a supreme entertainer, marvellous to watch but less productive than Henderson so, again, he wouldn't be in the team.
  11. If Neil Martin had a bit more pace he'd have been world class. John Cumming and Dave McKay from the Maroons and Peter Cormack and Pat Stanton of the Hibs would have been good.
  12. This is what I was feart of yesterday but at least the game's still on.
  13. He can afford it, of course, but he will have had his own costs to pay which will be the same again plus. Possibly £500,000 to £600,000 maybe more.
  14. I don't think the SFA fight will affect Rangers. To reduce the onerous contracts you would have to prove collusive fraud between the company's director/employee/agent and the other contracting party. To expand on Bluedell's admirable example, it would be necessary to show that wee Jeannie was giving a percentage to the director's backmpocket. Either that or the fact that wee Jeannie kent fine the particular director had no authority to procure the company's milk supplies.
  15. I haven't a clue but in a long fraud indictment there's often a chance for the defence to raise questions of competency and relevancy and get the thing bunged out or have parts excluded. Let's just hope its just procedure and evidence they're bickering about..
  16. I hope they're discussing future evidential procedures for the trial and not some defence submission that will lead to the whole thing being thrown out.
  17. Carefully worded it was not. Some forensic anaysis should be applied before publication. In this sort of combat the stiletto beats the bludgeon.
  18. Smuggs reckons he's already won it.
