  1. I like the previews on here. There's better places to visit if you just want the team news etc. There's only so much you can say about the actual match, when it's a another expected pumping. Does it really matter who is starting etc.
  2. As incompetent as the current incumbents may well appear, they are actually very good at what they do. These people screw people over for a living. The thought of us gradually buying up shares to gain a modicum of power is quite frankly delusional. Trying to play them at their own game will only have one outcome. Direct militant action is what's required. Organised boycotts of games, sponsors, merchandise etc. As soon as someone comes up with a direct debit scheme in support of such action, then I'll be interested. This mob have had their chance to put things right, and the best they come up with is another power grab dressed up as helping us out. Starve the bastards out. It's our only hope. If it means starting the whole 'journey' again, that is an acceptable price to pay for the greater good. Fans playing them at their own game is nothing more than an ego trip at the expense of the ordinary fan. True fan ownership requires government legislation and protection, as happened in Germany, I believe. These sharks will eat the fans groups for breakfast, and more millions of the supports cash will be pissed away. It's not for me to tell anyone what to do with their money, but a score a month for a pipe dream? Gies peace.
  3. Socialist concepts in capitalist countries. This will end well........ As noble an idea that fan ownership is, the fact we can't even organise one vehicle for it kinda says it all.
  4. If they don't understand what the majority of our support want/expect, then they don't deserve to be there. Pump the ********, win the league, decent run in Europe. This patronising survey pish is a waste of time, and money, that we can ill-afford to waste.
  5. Time will tell, but I think it will be longer than most people think before we win it again. We literally need an entire new squad before we even think about winning it. We may well turn them over in the odd game, but our squad can't compete with theirs, and considering we struggle to break even in these part-time leagues, I don't see where the money will come from to improve the squad. Any new share issue/investment will be skimmed away, as it has been for the previous two seasons. The same people are now pulling the strings as they always have been. It will take a few years before people realise what a crap position we are actually in. Nothing like losing the top league by 20 points to focus the mind of our support.
  6. Irvine is an embarrassment to the club, but to be fair, he's a decent representation of how we are ran at the moment. Him getting a grip of his p45 would go a long way to making most of us happier.
  7. Fans survey, lol. More cash pissed up against a wall.
  8. Have you seen the league table lately? Them losing in cups is little reflection of how far ahead they are of every other club in this country, including us. Add on another 3/4 seasons of CL money and they will literally be un-catchable for a generation. Pinning your hopes on some unforeseen financial misfortune for them is just as ridiculous as continuing to ignore what's happening at our own club. Hey ho.
  9. That's a decent question, which no doubt will never be answered. It would also be interesting to know if it's a 50/50 deal, between Laxey and Easdale. It wouldn't surprise me if Easdale is just piggy-backed on to it, like he is with most things. He's fast becoming the 'face' for all things dodgy within the club, as if he wasn't already.
  10. I was enjoying that write-up, until you started talking about the football. Tell us more about these wolves.
  11. Never saw this one coming........ Two seasons worth of ticket money, £20m odd share issue, potless in 18 months, and back in debt to glorified loan sharks. Laughable, if it wasn't so tragically predictable. How many more rapings will the club get before people finally say enough is enough? Giving money to support Rangers is now aiding and abetting it's continued pillaging. There comes a time when loyalty crosses over into stupidity. That time came and went a long time ago. I wish King would call their bluff and offer them a £2m interest free loan, to be payed back over 20 years. Once they knock it back, even this boards most ardent of supporters would see it's not even about being short of cash. It's all about the power and control of the assets/boardroom/contracts. Fucking sickening.
  12. Can we tupe Ryan back to RM?
  13. Do what? Sit on their contracts, and then leave for nothing? That would've really helped us out... Green barely made any attempt to get them to transfer over. He wanted them gone asap.
  14. People that bought for 70p a share can kiss that dough goodbye. I can't see a profit ever being made on that, unless of course, they hold a rich fan to ransom. This makes you wonder how they are getting a return on their investment. The power is what they were buying. The power to appoint their own board, and run us to within an inch of our existence again. Bar making all the scumbags very rich men, I'm not sure what King can do. It's made much more difficult if they can't even be bothered to lift a phone. King could ride down Edmiston Drive on a King Billy horse, with fivers firing out his arse, and some of us would still be telling him to 'put up or shut up'.
  15. Talking up big Kyle as if he's on fire. 4 in 20 games is hardly worth shiteing it from. I'd be worried if our best U-20 CH's couldn't handle the likes of KK.
  16. Since we were projected to be potless in April? I should've said when the propaganda for book sales start, but it wouldn't surprise me if we did start selling early. It would be preferable to the Wonga loan we have lined up.
  17. I'm surprised you have bought this 120 day pish. It's clearly to just buy time until season book time. What exactly are people expecting at the end of it? A well thought out and publicised business plan? Millions of new investment to be spent on the team? A magical new, honest, and productive board, working for the good of Rangers? You have to admire our supports stubborn optimism, if nothing else.
  18. The only thing we know for sure, is King is a better businessman than you or I, or anyone noob on an internet forum. If he didn't do as you're suggesting, you can be sure there is a damn good reason for it. All this 'war drumming' could be part of his plan, for all we know. At the very least, he's keeping the pressure on the board, to deliver what they said they would. We can't keep relying on people like King to bail us out, because we don't have the balls as a support to deal with these scumbags ourselves. They've robbed us blind, and they still have a measure of support among us. I'm not sure what people like King can do about that way of thinking.
  19. Not sure if serious. Can you use smileys if you're being sarcastic. It's sometimes difficult to tell.
  20. Have you been asleep since he dropped £20m onto us without blinking? When it goes belly up again, people like your good self will be saying nobody warned us.....again.
  21. The way some of our support speak about King, is bordering on disgusting. As far as I'm concerned, he has more right than anyone to speak his mind, and keep the pressure up on this joke of a regime. Even if he doesn't invest another dime, he's entitled to his opinion, for as long as he chooses to air it. The fact that what he's saying is also spot on seems to be lost on many of us. This mob want us back in debt, and worse, in debt to them. King is as much as saying this, without actually using the words. Debt is real power, as in all walks of life. He's offering money, they won't even pick up the phone. Shower of utter wanks.
  22. You're welcome to think that, but you would be wrong. I have next to zero interest in political campaigns, and it won't really affect my life whatever way the vote goes. I do however find it fascinating how people are loyal to a flag that only uses them when required. I don't live in Scotland, so therefore am free from the occupation. Democracy should always trump loyalty to the past. Probably best left for another thread. This ones becoming a childish tit-for-tat, about who has the best stadium.
  23. This is 'baggage' that I'd like to see dropped. It may not even may our 'countries' flag come the end of the year. People forget we used to be a fantastic football nation, until we became obsessed with this 'European dream'. We should be railing against competitions like the CL, not dreaming to be part of it. It's killing football in all the smaller countries. The rich will just get richer, until all that's left is the rich. Our desire to be a part of it has ruined Scottish football forever. In smaller countries, like ours, one club eventually dominates it all. The others look on in envy, at something that has destroyed competitive football. As exciting a competition as the CL can be, it has slowly strangled football in Scotland, with us being the biggest victims. An Atlantic league of any sort isn't going to save us, it's just a smaller version of what's already doing the damage. How many times have Scotland qualified for a major tournament since this festival of football we call the CL began? It's no coincidence.
  24. You could argue that Daly actually gets an easier ride because of his ethnicity, because frankly, he's been shite for months.
