  2. Is this the new benchmark? We're not going into administration, as you were. I wish chucky had taken you to France with him, and you both lived happily ever after. Kick in the baws away from £3m for a years work, and you say nothing was "stolen". Ally and his two bandit assistants should have wearing masks last year also. 100% director bonuses, 3/4m for a manager to struggle over a pub league, and an operating loss of £14m. Let us know when you think we should start to panic.
  3. I think Daly has a 2 year contract.
  4. Two points after a cursory glance. 1. Let's hope we don't have to dip into the mysterious £2.5m "overdraft", at whatever interest they choose to charge. 2. Fuck you Charles.
  5. Oh, I thought we go to Ibrox to watch Rangers? It's never sat right with me this type of "celebration". I have great respect for our ordinary soldiers, but they must be seen to represent the entire population of the "country". The holding of the Ulster scarf was a severe error of judgement on their part. Youtube is awash with videos of it, you didn't have to watch it live to see what happened. A normal parade would have left them with nothing to complain about. Allowing them to break ranks and sing and dance with the support while they are on the pitch is asking for trouble. I'm in no way attempting to defend the mock offended bead rattlers, but I just think we need to box a bit smarter when it comes to these events. I'm actually surprised that the military bosses allowed it to happen.
  6. Not so sure what we could have done about Whyte, but the majority support for Green, and to a lesser extent, Mather/Stockbridge was shameful. To be fair, it's a delicate balancing act for supporters. Torn between loyalty to the club, and not wanting to fill the pockets of these people. Protests are all well and good, but there is only one language these people understand. A solitary boycott of a home game, with a clear message that we want them out, will see every investor vote accordingly. Most people have paid for their tickets anyway, so it won't damage the club very much, but an empty Ibrox will send a clear message, much more powerful than a few banners and songs.
  7. Why oh why do we leave ourselves open to this shite every year? They couldn't just parade around the pitch and leave respectfully. We all know it was just some harmless fun, but that's not how it looks to the outside world, and especially to people with agenda's.
  8. How can I personally dislike him, when I have never met the man? I'm sure he's a decent enough chap in real life, but all I have to go on is my limited interaction with him on the internet. As for my accusation being supposition, I'll explain a little more clearly what actually happened, which I couldn't be bothered doing earlier. A few weeks before the IPO, there was a thread on FF discussing this, and people had varying viewpoints. My stance, as it has been since the day they walked through the door, was that chucky and co weren't to be trusted. This was around about the same time that Mr Graham had his about turn over chucky, and started to give him his support. During this thread, chris popped on with his view on the matter. I then asked him directly, how he could justify his new stance on the Green regime, so close to the IPO, when it could result in hard-working Bears losing money, again. He replied with some sarcastic comment, like he usually does when challenged, and 2 minutes later I was life banned. Maybe it was coincidence, and perhaps he had nothing to do with my banning, but I have on other occasions, seen him react in a similar manner with posters, and then they are mysteriously gone. Before he had his meltdown on RM and was subsequently hooked, this was a regular occurrence. If anything I have said is untrue, he is well within his rights to come on here and defend himself, and call me a liar, just as the club's board have done with him. There is no moral high-ground here for him to stand on. As for certain songs not being a right of free speech, this is where I disagree with a lot of people. The day we start letting governments and minority pressure groups tell us what we can, and cannot say/sing, is a sad one for democracy. As long as it doesn't incite any sort of violence, or invoke a direct prejudice, we should be allowed to say/sing whatever we like. Just because the handwringers are taking over the asylum, it doesn't make it right. Some laws are just wrong, and drafted for all the wrong reasons. I don't particularly agree with the song books of many clubs, including our own, but like I said, who am I, or indeed, who are the government, to decide what is acceptable. An expression of religious/political opinion is a basic human right, whether that be through the medium of song, or written word.
  9. Nah, I'm saying he uses his "fame" to influence mods on other forums to silence anyone that might get too close to the bone. Meh, it's the internet, so i'm not overly concerned about it. I just thought that his moral outrage about the boards attempt to censor him, is a tad hypocritical. The recent drama over his personal relationships could be seen as another example of this.
  10. I was personally a victim of Chris's warped version of "free speech", during his period of backing the Green regime. I've also seen others disagree with him on other media platforms and suddenly disappear without trace. I know he is a member here, so if I'm lying, I can expect an e-mail from his lawyer in the morning. I have also seen negative quotes attributed to him with regards to certain songs in our song book. Again, I'm sure if you ever come across him, you can ask him his opinion on the Billy boys, famine song etc.
  11. Of course it's weird, but it's hardly a new thing. Supporters are treated with contempt by most clubs, but I agree, this board are stooping to new lows. There's plenty of truthful material out there to hang this board by, so if Chris has crossed the line in terms of the truth, he only has himself to blame. If he hasn't, he has nothing to worry about. Making a big deal of this is probably what the board wants, it takes the attention away from the real problem. Where is the money.......... Chris is now blogging/tweeting about how hard done by he is, instead of keeping up the pressure about the real issues.
  12. I wouldn't class someone who was seduced by a flash of Green's drawers "intelligent". Educated perhaps, but that's not really the same thing as intelligence, is it? Chris is not shy himself in suppressing fellow fans opinions, so it's a bit rich that he's now bleating about his opinions being suppressed. He's also not shy in criticising our choice of song book, and wanting certain songs not to be sung. He's hardly a bastion of the free speech movement.
  13. I don't know why we leave ourselves open to this type of accusation. Having an armed service day in support of the troops is all well and good, but seeing them singing and dancing after their parade was slightly uncomfortable viewing, even as a Rangers fan. I'm sure I'll be in the minority thinking this, but what actually happened, and how it looks to the outside world, are two different things, especially when it's to do with us. On the bright side, was nice to see the troops carrying the Saltire.
  14. Chris Graham being silenced, for whatever reason, wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to happen. His previous backing of the Green regime, and the Ahmad on RM affair, wasn't done with the clubs best interest at heart, in my opinion.
  15. Im sure they could have got a bank loan at more favourable terms, but I doubt it was the purpose of these loans. It smacks of a away to "legally" bleed the club dry, much the same as Ahmad done.
  16. The point I was trying to make was, there was no need for any "loan" to be "secured". They were effectively lending money to themselves in order to keep the lights on, and charging "themselves" a ridiculous rate of interest for the pleasure. There was no justification for that rate of interest, when there was a very low risk of them not getting it back when the season book sales started. Besides all that, it's not like the club doesn't have assets that a loan could be secured against, there was just no need for it. There's some very clever businessmen in and around the club, it's just a pity that few of them were/are working for the benefit of the club. They are more than happy to appear as bungling idiots who don't have a clue, all the while their bank balances are growing by the minute. Green's comedy acts, his Xmas message, and big Yorkshire hands speeches are perfect examples of this. They done their research and knew their audience, and if it wasn't our club, you could only stand back and admire it. Capitalism at it's disgusting worst. It doesn't get much lower than taking advantage of peoples emotional connections to something to make a shit load of money. Vile scumbags.
  17. A small point, but any loan would hardly be "unsecured". It's legalised theft, plain and simple.
  18. You have to make allowances for women, children and head up the arse loyal who wouldn't have been singing. It sounded loud enough on tv, and much louder than anything else sung. Credit to everyone for not resorting to anything stupid, or violent, which makes the boards reports to the police even more retarded. Hopefully they get charged with wasting police time and banged up.
  19. What about the £10m that Green said Ally would get? Did chucky take it with him?
  20. A cabal of the unwashed is looking like the better option at the moment. I can't see how they could do a worse job, or embarrass us more, short of making us play in green and white hoops. Any Bear that has any support left for this mob, is seriously walking around with their head us his arse. I'm no fan of either of the two that are feeling the clubs ire, Chris/FF, but this is really taking the piss.
  21. Ahmads bonus was never written in stone, according to the IPO document. Whether his actual contract was different is another matter. As far as I recall, his bonus was to be decided by his pal chucky. Fucking joke really.
