  1. Doesn't bother me them signing Keane - his best days are behind him in his first spell at Spurs.
  2. Scott McDonald joins Middlesbrough. Really pleased to see the back of him. Mogga really is tearing that team to bits.
  3. Good move for him - he'll be a definite starter there - imo a genuinely world class player whose move to Spurs turned sour as soon as 'Arry took over. He was rotting on their bench and this is a good move to a club in a good state, cash rich and in a solid position in the table.
  4. Why yes, yes it would.
  5. I know, that's kinda my point! Did anyone actually believe he'd sign for us!?
  6. Yeah, was informed of that one a while back. What a load of Shittu.
  7. The great irony is he had about as much hair back then as he has now And in course of scoring said goal managed to inflict one of afforementioned injuries on Woods.
  8. Who said anything about secretly But there's a difference between hoping I'll end up in a 3 way with Elisha Cuthbert, Kate Beckinsale and Sophia Bush and actually expecting it
  9. Showoff
  10. If we let Mendes go because we have enough cover there, why sign a replacement?
  11. I'm in hysterics at the names we're being linked to. Mind you, I was convinced Roughie was right a couple of summers back when he said an AC Milan midfielder was on his way to us...
  12. Good lord, I am hearing some absolutely fantastic tales over these past few days. Quaresma, Petrov, Miccoli, Hitzelsperger, Poulson. AYE RIGHT!
  13. Utter, utter, utter bollocks.
  14. Legend, remember him well. That was the year Chris Woods kept getting injured at the start, so we had to resort to Ginsburg. That seasons reminds me of a great pub question. Who was the scorer when Rangers lost 1-0 at Ibrox to St Mirren on the opening day of that season.
  15. Go up to her with an anadin. And when she says 'but I don't have a headache', pounce
  16. By way of Cuba.
  17. Average player, not the worst ever but hardly something to inspire the timmy troops. Mowbray seems hell bent on shafting off their half decent kit like McDonald, McManus and Robson and bringing in guys like Slane and Wallace. And then there's the comedy of signing Fox and then selling him 6 months later. Mowbray really doesn't know what he's doing and it's great
  18. He did set up the first goal, but I disagree that it was mere fouls - he seemed hell bent on barging opposition players. I've not completely given up hope on Lafferty, but it's pretty forlorn now.
  19. Come on the Egypt. I'm no fan of Bougherra and have no reason to wish any success on him after the way he's treated this club. I support him exclusively as a Rangers player and nothing else.
  20. Miller's the lynchpin of the team - without him we look slow and stodgy, with him the midfield has a tireless runner to aim at all the time. His injury last night was a major reason we were so poor - compare with how we played with a weak team but him up front V St Johnstone in the cup. Despite the lack of goals till extra time we played decent football at times and looked very threatening. Last night he wasn't able to be at the races. Miller makes us tick.
  21. Absolutely no standout as Gazza says - I'd say it's a 3 way tie between McCulloch, Davis and Novo.
  22. I've backed him endlessly, but there comes a time where even I cannot flog a dead horse. He showed plenty of glimpses last year, but this year, by a combination of factors, he looks just terrible. He shows a little sign here, a little sign there, but even given this run in his favourite position he looks off the pace, sluggish, and his first touch is abysmal. There is a great player in there, but I don't think we'll see that player in our colours.
  23. Not strange at all - since those comments all those months ago Smith hasn't said a single word about our financial situation. He's refused more than once to say anything further about who owns us and what our financial situation is. Which, tbh, hints strongly at him stirring in the first place - and tbh while initially it looked a strong hand and seemed to set the ball rolling, all it's really achieved is loads of ammo for Watson and co at OAE to fire at us. And banners at Ibrox.

Oh that bloody IS good news. Miller's tireless work could give Lafferty exactly what it gives Boyd.

At the moment I accept he is not. But one match can change everything - look at Beasley against St Johnstone at Ibrox. It might have been the following game against United that folk would credit his return as being, but it really started against the Saints where I considered him motm. So whether it was one or the other, it can be agreed whichever match it was, one match changed it for Beasley and now we're considering him a big miss rather than his absence being irrelevant. We have to hope Kyle can hit similar form tomorrow.
